This was a really fun collection of short stories, the first I've read by Mr. Stine. I wasn't sure what to expect considering goosebumps are already pretty short, I was worried there might not be enough time to "tell the story." If anything, I think the short story format held my attention even more, leaving no time to get bored with the story. I really enjoyed how varied the stories were; each unique and creepy giving you a sprinkling of all different kinds of horror. There's really something here for everyone! I think my only complaint is how bratty a lot of the characters are, but then again, I'm an adult reading this so perhaps that's just my age speaking.
I listened to the audio of this one and would like to mention- How entertaining the different narrators for the different stories were. Made the listening experience more immersive, and the intro to each story by the man himself, RL Stine was a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed getting a bit of "behind the scenes."

This was another fun collection of RL Stine short stories. I do like the little bite size horror stories, but I miss that connection with the characters. We really don't get to know any of them well.
All the stories were fun, there weren't any I disliked. They were all really good at getting the whole story across, yet still managing to leave some open endings in the usual RL Stine manner.
I don't think I had ever read a Goosebumps book before recently because I was scared of everything when I was younger and it's fun to go back and read the stories and watch the show as an adult and say to myself, "this is what I was scared of?" Even as an adult, I really do enjoy RL Stine's stories. The new ones give just as much of the nostalgia as the old ones but are also more current.
If you enjoyed RL Stine when you are younger, or just discovering him now, I recommend this book to you!

I finished this in one go, it pulled me in and I didn't want to stop listening!
The short stories are fast paced with quick buildup and fun reveals.
I really enjoyed how there was a brief intro before each story to give readers more insight.
The narration was well done, and I loved hearing Stine's voice for the introductions.
If you liked the first one, you'll love this. Highly recommend for any Stine fan!
