This series continues to by favorite of Katee’s! I absolutely loved this one as much as the first 2, maybe even more, I honestly can’t pick a favorite so far.

Olivia Rashidi wants nothing to do with the mob after the violence she witnessed growing up as a the mob boss' daughter. All she wants to do is live a quiet life with her daughter and give her a better life than she had. But when she meets Cillian O'Malley she can't resist him, despite his family ties. But you can't always outrun the demons of your past.

Katee Robert delivers another steamy, dark romance! What romance-lover doesn't appreciate a good taboo mob story? Twisted Secrets is fast-paced and pulls you right into the dark underbelly of Boston. If you like an alpha bad boy with a soft-side, then you absolutely have to pick this up!

Katee is an auto-buy and -read for me, and while this is not my favorite of her novels, it is a very good representation of why that is so. As always, check the disclaimers for this book because it is a dark romance. The only reason this is not rated higher for me is because I do not like it when the heroine is not heroic at all and does absolutely nothing to save herself. I like my heroines as competent as they are feisty, and this is more of a rescue the damsel in distress kind of book.

I loved the mob-world Katee built and the way she weaves the characters from the entire family, so that you want to binge through the entire series to see what happens next. I know I now am going to go binge the rest of the series myself. As always, I will continue to be an avid Katee Robert fan and will read anything she gets published!

Another great book in the O’Malley series! I really enjoy how each of these books are interconnected and how you get to know each of the O’Malleys a little better each book. I really loved it

It took me a while to get around to reading this because it is the third book in the O'Malley series so I want to catch up! As usual, Katee Robert's does an excellent job of writing books that are easy to devour! One great thing about these books is that they can be read as standalones. I really liked that this book gave us more on Cillian where the other didn't. Thank you for the great ARC!!

I’m not sure how it happens but this mafia romance book has a sweet and soft side. Cillian is harboring a lot of quilt after his brother’s death.  He spends his time in Jameson’s Bar where he becomes intrigued by the new bartender.  Olivia is a single mom trying to avoid anything related to the mafia, Cillian is the last thing she needs.  Too bad she can’t stay away and he’s determined to chase her.

Let me say, Cillian surprised me.  His hurt was emotional and his vulnerable side was touching.  But his vulnerability is not a weakness, he is also tough and has an amazing protective side. I loved his determination and the way he pursued Olivia.  Nothing was going to stop him, even if it put his relationship with his family at risk. Olivia is just as stubborn which leads to a lot of entertaining banter and a bit of a push\pull relationship.  There was not denying their chemistry.

This is a fast-paced plot with sweet and swoony moments, open-door spice, tension, angst, danger, and battles that must be fought (inner and outer).  The Boston Irish Mafia world is expanded with more of the O’Malley family dynamics and consequences of not following what is expected.  I liked the way we saw the 3 mafia families come together to fight a new enemy.

I’m loving this series.  I love how each book is unique.  The books can be read as a standalone, but weaved together with a glimpse of the sibling featured in the next book.

I like this series because of how unique each book has been, but I would say that this on we okay in comparison to the others. The spice was alright and I had a hard time connecting to Cillian and Olivia’s story despite being intrigued by them and their characters.

As a fan of Katee Robert, I knew I had to sink my teeth into this book. I didn’t realize there were books before this one in the series since titles have changed, however Robert knows how to bring interesting characters and steam in between the pages! I'm not the biggest fan of a mafia romance but still enjoyed this installment, there were some parts I felt were a bit tedious but still an enjoyable read in the end and would recommend. You won't regret reading about Cillian and Olivia and how their story unravels!

Thank you to NetGalley & Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this reader's copy!

Katee Robert's third installment in "The O'Malleys" series did not disappoint! This book had so much raw emotion, angst and of course, with it being a mafia romance, drama. I'll be on the lookout for the 4th book in the series!

If you are a fan of Katee Robert, you’ll like this one, too! Though I didn’t realize there were books before this one in the series, so I feel like I’m missing a lot of context. However! This had Robert’s classic sizzling steam and interesting characters. I’m always a fan of a good mafia romance, and when there is a “no strings attached” arrangement, I’m even more in! I would’ve enjoyed a bit more plot and a bit less internal monologuing, but it’s still enjoyable and spicy!! I’ll have to go back and read the other books in the series. Read this and get to know Cillian and Olivia and their story in finding each other the way they needed.

It was very confusing that this was re-released under a different title. I'm not sure why they did this with the new title, honestly.

I love the amount of chemistry Katee is able to write between her characters, and this book is no exception. Olivia and Cillian have that great “want but shouldn’t have” type of vibe and I love it. I love how Katee is able to take supporting characters from her other books and flesh them out and make you love them just as much as the first. A great escape of a spicy little read!

I am hooked into this series!

We’ve met Cillian O’Malley a few times throughout the first two books of the series, and now the focus is on him. He has been struggling since the death of his brother, and notices that his siblings are also not coping well. But instead of drowning himself in alcohol and partying, Cillian has stopped drinking and focuses on his new role as the money man of the family.

Olivia is the half-sister of the man who runs a mafia family in New York. But she has escaped to Boston with her daughter to try and give her a better life. She meets Cillian at the bar that she got a job at, and the attraction was instant.

Sure, this one maybe gives a little of insta love vibes, but I loved Cillian and Olivia. He treats her how a woman should be treated, which always surprises her (I mean, her ex is yikes). And she doesn’t make things easy for him, but he doesn’t care.

This series is full of the dangers that come with mafia families, rival gangs, romance, spice, and violence. But I truly can’t get enough.

This was my first Katee Robert and I really enjoyed it. Sparks fly when Olivia, the daughter of a Russian mobster, meets Cillian, new head of an Irish mob family. They need to figure out how to be together without starting a gang war.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.

Katee Robert can do no wrong! I love that this series is being republished with new names and covers. It feels like mafia/dark romance lite and I'm here for it!

The re-brand of this series is so good! I only read this book 3, but now want to go back and read books 1 and 2. The main characters are sexy and this is probably my favorite mafia romance I’ve read so far. Thanks for the arc of this - can’t wait to go back and read the others.

This was a good book. I like most things Katie Robert writes but I had to knock it down to three stars because there is a ton of repetition in the book and not a lot of resolution. Colin’s is constantly reliving and commenting in his internal dialogue about his brother’s death but it’s all the same, he never grows, learns from or works through his grief. Major missed opportunity! W just get him one day going I’m over it which is not the way grief works. We also have Olivia constantly repeating the same internal monologue about Sergei. If it had been one character fine but having both of them repeating things got annoying. I really wish we had more than two real scenes with Hadley and Cillian. At the end they’re professing their love for one another and to be honest I don’t see why. We spent so much time on their personal hang ups that we didn’t get to fully see their relationship grow.

On to the next book but this one, even though I really wanted it to, just didn’t work for me.

A great addition to this series, but not its best. I enjoyed the characters, but found them both a bit annoying as they circle each other and their feelings for one another. Overall though I was rooting for them every step of the way, even as a face palmed my way through some of their missteps.

Ooh this was HOT from chapter 1 and I was so here for this. If you love, hate you but need you now let’s bang in the alley immediately, this is for you. ⁣

This is book 3, in this Irish mobster romance. Cillian is one of the brothers, still grieving the loss of his brother. He was the care free, fun loving, woman loving brother until this happened, now he’s miserable, feels guilty and is getting into fights.⁣

When he meets Olivia he’s drawn to her instantly and can’t get enough of her. Olivia is kind of running from her past, she has a daughter whose dad is in the mob as well. ⁣

Cillian and Olivia’s relationship seems pretty surface level but it was still hot and sweet. We also had the other siblings from the other books still woven through this story line. ⁣
I liked it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Welcome back to the O'Malley's a family that desperately needs a tropical mindless vacation. In this book we pick up right after James and Carrigan's story but following Olivia and Cillian. Cillian has been troubled since the passing of his brother and Olivia is the first thing that has held his attention. Olivia has a past and has no interest in Cillian because of his family. But when her troubled past comes knocking and she has no else to turn to - will she let Cillian be her hero??

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!
