This is a great guide to remember to live life to the fullest. It provides ideas for self-care and self-indulgence for every day of the year and includes lovely recipes and opportunities to learn. The fun illustrations make this all the more enjoyable.
I loved that this book was divided into months with seasonal opportunities to renew and refresh. The suggestions are easy to do and with a bit of reading ahead, I don't see why a reader couldn't follow it through the year!
3 stars
This book just wasn't for me.
First because it's a seasonal book, meaning it's divided in months/ seasons and some exercises were for example to do during winter and I live in a tropical area so me making snow angels is pretty impossible 😅
Secondly, this felt like homework, and as much as I wanted to romanticize my life, I also wanted to do it with minimal effort 😅
Still, this is kinda fun, and I feel like we all should be doing some of the things that appear in this book more. Maybe life would feel less stressful for everyone.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review
Oh my goodness!!! I love this book! I love the words the author chose to give prompts on each day's encouragement or fun challenge. I love the Romantasy vibes & Jane Austen vibes & Bridgerton vibes in this. I appreciate the author providing us with a small bit of joy and fun for each day. This is now on my Christmas wish list!
Thank you, Netgalley!
I so enjoyed this fun, easy read. I love how it put a spin on gratitude- to really be thankful for the life you lead- and not chasing someone’s else’s life but to be satisfied in your own. Lots of good ideas for contentment!
A Lush Journey into Everyday Romance - 4 Stars!
The endearing and visually appealing book "Romanticize Your Life: 365 Simple Ways to Embrace the Beauty of Every Day" by Harper Celebrate inspires readers to add romance and whimsy to their everyday lives.
Although it might not be the most insightful self-help book available, it adds a lovely touch of magic to your daily routine.
Thanks to the lovely ornamental backgrounds adorning each page, the book itself is a romantic indulgence.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, "Romanticize Your Life" is full of achievable advice encouraging readers to adopt a more romantic outlook.
The book provides 365 straightforward recommendations, one for every day of the year, to infuse wonder and enthusiasm into daily routine. The ideas presented in the book are not overly complex or time-consuming, making it easy to incorporate them into your daily routine.
As someone who used to value rich, romantic rituals but found them going by the wayside in the hustle and bustle of daily life, I found this book to be a great reminder to reintroduce these treasured practices.
The book misses out on a perfect score because it has a tendency to get repetitive after a while. A little more variety would have been nice because some ideas presented seemed identical to others.
Don't look for deep, life-changing insights. However, the book would be an uplifting and inspiring gift for a young adult or new graduate.
In conclusion, "Romanticize Your Life" is a charming and lovely book that inspires readers to add romance and beauty to their everyday lives. It might not be revolutionary, but it is a heartwarming companion for those looking to rekindle the romance in their lives. I give it a solid 4 stars for its charm, practicality, and the sheer joy it brings to the reader's life.
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Celebrate for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Light and fun! These quick, daily reads inspire one to live intentionally and happily. The world is heavy, so books like this are nice to keep close by. Would be a fun gift, nice to keep out on a coffee table or by the bath, even in the car for the after-school pickup line!
I do think this was a sweet read, but I wish so much of the author's version of romanticizing your life didn't emphasize buying more stuff to make you happy. It felt less like actual self care, and more like tiktok self care- buy buy buy, I love the concept of slow living, and I hoped this book would align with my interests in living that style of life, getting off my phone, and finding joy in everyday tasks, without the pressure to make everything look instagram perfect.
This book did skate on these ideas sometimes but I feel disappointed by the overly materialistic tone of the book me. Additionally, a lot of the bits seemed cliché and like it's trying to capitalize on the trend of 'romanticize your life' 'be the main character of your life' etc etc very surface level stuff
It's a swing and a miss for me
A fun collection of 365 ideas on romanticizing your life every day! I could see this being a great gift around the December holidays, as well as any time for someone needing to slow down and appreciate their current life.
I loved this sweet book such a unique idea and easy to implement with one activity each day to help romanticise your life.
This would be a great gift for anyone looking to bring more joy and whimsy to their life.
This book was so cute! It would make a great gift for a new mom, college grad, or someone looking to level up their life a bit!
It can totally be read cover to cover, or if you follow it day by day you can incorporate the daily suggested ideas to romanticize your life!
I chose to read it cover to cover to get a feel for what to expect and get excited about what I wanted to incorporate into my life, but I think following it for a year would be really great. There’s truly something for everyone. Some of my favorite ideas:
* A reminder of all of the people who have started on a new path late in life and that it’s never too late to start something you’re passionate about
* Establishing a consistent wake up time and sticking to it
* Doing a closet clean out in March to make sure your items all correspond with how you want to portray yourself
* Something as simple as adding a new bauble to your key ring - new lucky charm!?
* Creating a no-phone zone in your bedroom
* Doing an annual eval on visualizing your highest self and showing up for that person
* Revamping your evening routine
* Taking yourself out for a leisurely breakfast
* Questions on what you would do with a million dollars
* Refreshing your bedding
* Doing a thank you to first responders
The art was super cute, and the entire book had Bridgerton-vibes that I loved! It’s a great reminder to slow things down and appreciate the smaller, sweeter moments of your life! I enjoyed that there were some big tasks and ideas and also just some mindfulness quotes and definitions to get inspired by.
Thank you to @netgalley and Harper Celebrate for an advanced copy of this book. Make sure to grab your copy on September 12, 2023!

Definitely a cute book with lots of self-care ideas. I tried out some of them (not date specific) and had my fun with it. As someone that struggles with the stress of daily life often enough, this was really nice and I recommend it to everyone that doesn’t have a problem with romanticising their daily life in one way or another. Make that nice beverage for yourself and pretend you’re the main character for a moment. It’s worth it.
A year of daily activities to spark joy in the little things - what a lovely way to spend a portion of each day. In a world that is so fast paced, with little time for self care, this book halls you to carve out a little moment each day to pause, reflect, and celebrate life. Would make a wonderful gift, to yourself or a loved one.
Would definitely recommend.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.
It’s a book that point out and give suggestions about how to romanticize our life. They give daily suggestions on what to do and while i actually find the illustration endearing, personally i feel like this book a bit flat(?) I’m really excited at first while reading the title but it just didn’t deliver the mindfulness that i’m looking for in this book. It’s not necessary a bad book, it just didn’t really capture my attraction and not to my taste.
BUT, it’s a book that you should check at least once. For a type of people that always rushing to get the day done, to people that are restless and never know how to stop and enjoy the moment. This is the right book to check, and see. It might help you to slow down a bit.
Thank you Netgalley, Author and Publisher for this experience and opportunity to read the book.
Ohhhh! For all you lovers of achieving a poised and inspiring life sprinkled with little bits of happiness... well, dear loves, have I got a wonderful read for you to add to your TBR list!
I dove into this book wanting to undergo a pleasurable reading experience- and it heartily delivered!
"Romanticize Your Life: 365 Simple Ways to Embrace the Beauty of Every Day" by Harper Celebrate has come on the scene and shaken all my chic/poise loving senses.
Do I get easily impressed by much... no! (Well, maybe some flavourful chicken stuffed tacos and a scary movie might may do the trick!) This book drew me in with the way it took the concept of uplifting the every day with an original spin. Check out that cover and title! The word "romanticize" sugar-coated my thoughts and immediately made my mind ready to read about the loveliness that life has to offer.
The cover is a refreshing- different from the usual "uplifting" covers I see. It's the kind of cover that adds some spices to the reading mix, but ohhhh! It's the interior of the book that is absolutely smashing! Very well done! Very detailed! Lots of fabulous care from the author. I want to see that meticulous attention when I am reading these kinds of books. It's cinematic- and I LOVE that! (Honestly, I can get bored very easily with these books as they are pretty repetitive- thank heavens this passed with flying covers!)
The writing is fabulous too! We receive special, uplifting quotes, illustrations and prompts reading this book. I felt motivated! It organized my thoughts in a streamlined manner, easy to follow with lots of advice- without being "guru-like."
365 daily tidbits to encourage you to enjoy an inspiring life!
A definite must read! Thank you to Harper Celebrate for an advanced copy this enchanting book which is anticipated to be released on September 12, 2023!

The cover art and title completely made me want to explore this book and see how I could "romanticize my life". Filled with quotes, activites, recipes and more for daily life I can definitely see how this book could help one practice self care and learning to fall in love with life as it is. This book would make the perfect holiday gift to start the new year with and will be finding itself wrapped neatly with a bow for a few loved ones this Christmas season.
This is such a well-set-out, cute book that really makes one want to perform more self-love. The hints and tips and days are varied and there's something there for everyone.
I received a copy via NetGalley and all opinions are my own.
While these suggestions start on January 1, you can pick this up whenever, and flip to whatever one most appeals.
We should do the little things to bring about more happiness. Many of these called for spending money and I'm not a giant fan of life in a society that has referred to its citizens as consumers and had hoped for more thoughtful suggestions as well as mindfulness.
While I love the illustrations and the concept of Romanticize Your Life, I ultimately found that the content was not to my preferences.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and NetGalley for the DRC
This utilizes devotional style writing to help you recognize elements of your life you should cherish more. The whole goal of this book is to read a passage a day that helps you look at life with a brighter lens, and help romanticize the small beauties of life.
Romanticizing our lives became a big trend around 2019 when TikTok became big in the United States. The whole theory is to try to find the beauty in the mundane and extraordinary parts of our days to help with happiness, mood, and gratitude. The whole movement never focused on toxic positivity but instead seeing life through the lens of artistic movements, literary themes, cinematic themes. You apply these joys and things, seeing these ideas/concepts in our life.
I recommend this book as a way to become happier and more connected to ourselves and our immediate world, to find joy in our life and homes. Because the whole point of the romanticize movement is that there is beauty everywhere you go.
Romanticize Your Life is a cute book organized by month offering daily inspiration for ways to romanticize life!
The energy of the playful, feminine cover illustration continues throughout the book and I love the artwork style! The book is filled with recipes, quotes, reminders, definitions of meaningful words, and encouragement. Each day has an intention, simple things to change your outlook on life. The quotes come from writers, comedians, directors, and actors, among other figures.
I think this book would make a great gift, especially for Secret Santa or someone you might not know well.
