This utilizes devotional style writing to help you recognize elements of your life you should cherish more. The whole goal of this book is to read a passage a day that helps you look at life with a brighter lens, and help romanticize the small beauties of life.
Romanticizing our lives became a big trend around 2019 when TikTok became big in the United States. The whole theory is to try to find the beauty in the mundane and extraordinary parts of our days to help with happiness, mood, and gratitude. The whole movement never focused on toxic positivity but instead seeing life through the lens of artistic movements, literary themes, cinematic themes. You apply these joys and things, seeing these ideas/concepts in our life.
I recommend this book as a way to become happier and more connected to ourselves and our immediate world, to find joy in our life and homes. Because the whole point of the romanticize movement is that there is beauty everywhere you go.

Romanticize Your Life is a cute book organized by month offering daily inspiration for ways to romanticize life!
The energy of the playful, feminine cover illustration continues throughout the book and I love the artwork style! The book is filled with recipes, quotes, reminders, definitions of meaningful words, and encouragement. Each day has an intention, simple things to change your outlook on life. The quotes come from writers, comedians, directors, and actors, among other figures.
I think this book would make a great gift, especially for Secret Santa or someone you might not know well.

This was not for me. I hoped it would be, as I'm interested in slower living, spending less time on screens, enjoying my everyday tasks, romanticizing my life and enjoying it for what it is. I don't want to have a more aspirational life or necessarily have it look more aesthetically pleasing. What I wanted was more about mindfulness, about seeing the good in what I already have, maybe with some guidance and thought exercises about appreciating things. While there are hints of that in here, this book- which has an individual entry for each day of the year- didn't give me what I was looking for. So many of the days' tasks involved buying things- flowers, treats, seasonal decor. It felt very capitalistic, and I didn't find much value in that advice. In addition, many of the entries felt like simply platitudes. I got the strong impression that this is the kind of book some higher up in an MLM would mass purchase and provide to their downline, because it feels very "girlboss-y"
Overall, I felt like this book was kind of a waste of my time, with few insightful or unique ideas, and I didn't find much value in reading it.

Filled with fun, easy and practical ways to “romanticize” your life everyday (365!).
The bits of facts, quotes and themes (even some recipes) give you something new to look forward to each day.
The illustrations are cute and modern with a victorian(ish) edge. Wish there were more throughout the book.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I would say this book is more about mindfulness or reframing than it is about romanticizing. It's a mix of here's something you should do today and here's something to think about instead of just about internal work or growth. But it's a cute concept book. There's a prompt for every day of the year and you go through one day at a time and do something based on the prompt. They're fairly short (some of the pages have two prompts) and they are questions about yourself, tips on making vision boards, a recipe, etc. The book recommends things like upcycling clothes and going for walks and while there's no real bad advice in this book I think you'd be hard pressed to find every day applicable and helpful without some specific skills.
It's a fun concept and definitely has some good ideas, but isn't quite what I was expecting.

Romanticize Your Life is a book I'd happily recommend to anyone. It serves as a reminder to enjoy the simple things in life. I love the daily prompts and challenges that this book proposes, mostly because they're all simple, easy, and effective. I'm looking forward to referring to this book throughout the seasons. Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Celebrate for this EARC in exchange for my honest review.

I was given the opportunity to read this book for my honest feedback. I honestly could not access the book. When I tried to download it or use the app that it was given to me on it did not have any writing in the book. Overall, the background of the pages was very pretty.

I really liked this book! I the daily prompts are simple and easy to do, but have so much meaning. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to add fulfilling things to their life.

The cover caught my eye and I like finding new ways to romanticize my life. I liked that this included quotes from novels, films, and inspirational figures. The prompts begin at the start of the year to the end. I appreciated the message of getting out of your comfort zone now and then and the possibility of enjoying something new to you. The overall theme is to be present and savor the pockets of peace in your daily life.
Thank you NetGalley for the arc.

This is such a darling little book!! I didn't realize that it was 365 days of suggestions (I didn't read the description well enough I guess lol) but I actually really, really love it! I'm more likely to actually read this than I am to read a more narrative prose book.
I will definitely buy a finished copy when it's on sale. It will make a really great gift as well.

I really loved this book. I've been reading about this hack but never knew how to go about romanticising my life. as someone who often deals with anxiety and depression, I found this really helpful.

It is such a cute little book that I would love to own a physical copy of it on my coffee table. It is not what I thought it would be but rather has little write-ups for everyday forcing people to slow down and enjoy their everyday life.
It is full of advice and tasks and interesting facts for the whole year. Every day you can find something new that inspires you, makes you think, or just leaves you happy.

I stumbled upon this book and somehow it's exactly what I needed! Can't wait to continue this throughout the year.
Daily mantras, quotes, activities, and more. All aimed to be mindful and build a beautiful life.

Romanticize Your Life offers a plethora of ideas for infusing romance into everyday life, making it a delightful read for those seeking to add a touch of magic to their world. The book presents a variety of concepts that encourage readers to appreciate the beauty in their surroundings and embrace the small moments. While the book's intentions are admirable, it does suffer from occasional repetition, revisiting certain ideas in different months.
One aspect to consider is the potential cost of implementing all the suggestions within the book. While the ideas are inspiring, some might find it financially demanding to fully embrace every recommendation. Additionally, the text itself could benefit from visual breaks such as some small illustrations, these would enhance the reading experience, although may not be necessary if you are reading the book daily as expected.
This being said, the overall message of finding joy in the everyday remains poignant in the book.

I absolutely adored this 365-day guide to romanticize your life. It has quotes, ideas, activities, recipes, and inspiration to brighten and enlighten each day of the year. It puts positive spins on mundane tasks, as well as encouraging self-care. It even encourages you to pick a theme song for each season. I learned, through the book, that I am a "Clinophile, a lover of reclining, lounging, or lying in bed." There is a day dedicated to it.
This would make a great gift or stocking stuffer for anyone who already loves to or needs to see the beauty and joy in everyday living. I can think of a few women who might find this under the tree this year.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and NetGalley for a digital copy of French Holiday.

I loved this so much! So many great ideas to bring joy, magic, and comfort to our everyday lives. Will be recommending this to others. Thank you to NetGalley for this e-ARC!

Grab a coffee or tea, your favorite blanket, and snuggle in for a cozy, whimsical read. Live is busy, the world is going to hell in a handbasket, but there are opportunities every single day to reclaim some peace, calm, and appreciation of the little thing sin life. Charming illustrations and a focus on seasonality create a lovely, warm atmosphere - I got totally lost in this.

In 2019, my teenaged son was diagnosed with leukemia and spent the next three years in treatment. It became important to me to find ways for our family to celebrate life, even the tiniest things. I’m always looking for thoughtful ways to make each day special and was excited to review this book, Romanticize Your Life. It did not disappoint! With daily challenges, inspiring quotes and encouragement to dream, it is packed with creative and meaningful ways to slow down and add joy to the everyday.
The only thing that would improve this delightful book is a little space to add thoughts and notes in response to some of the days’ reflection questions.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Celebrate for this advanced digital review copy.

This was a really fun, useful set of self-care tips spaced out throughout the yearly calendar! I love the idea of having this handy as a coffeetable book or guide throughout the year, full of challenges that will make you feel better day by day.

"Take what you need and carry it with you the rest of the day."
Romanticize Your Life is a guided 365 journal seeking to help readers find tiny sparks of joy in their day to day lives. Through fun illustrations and a very regency-esque narration style, this book encourages you to fall in love with your own life by making small changes to your daily routine.
This is such a fun and creative book! I really enjoyed the stylization of this one, as it's very Bridgerton-esque in its delivery and has lovely Victorian illustrations through the book. My personal favorite is how each day has an intent word, i.e. whimsy or self-care, that describes the daily challenge. The daily challenges/snippets range too, from language lessons, to floriography, to recipes, keeping the reading engaging and interesting. For fun, I flipped to my birthday (May 14th) and really enjoyed the prompt of, "How can you tap into a little more courage and expand your life today?" which would be a great journal prompt or just a question to muse through the day.
It's not calendar locked, and I think it would be a great gift before the new year begins to help a friend or family member make lasting positive changes in their life! My only reasoning behind giving it a rating of 4 stars is that some entries are vastly shorter than others, which might be a positive to some readers or negative to others.
