I think this Stephanie Plum adventure was one of the best yet. It was centered around a jewelry heist and there were plenty of twists and turns. All of the usual characters showed up, Lula, Grandma Mazur, Connie, Ranger, and Joe. I thought the plot in Dirty Thirty was more substantial than some of the previous books and I really enjoyed this one. But Stephanie, just make up your mind already -- is it Joe or Ranger?? Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this in return for my honest review.

I have loved every single book in this series.
WOW! Stephanie Plum does it again.
I did wish that Joe was not out of town for the whole book!!!
I wonder which proposal she will accept!
or is the series over?!?!
thank you!

Stephanie Plum is back and readers are invited along on her 30th journey. Lulu is her most Luluest in this book, convinced that there is a Grendel haunting her based on a video game she has been playing. Office Manager Connie continues her growth as a singular character who does more than provide a daily box of doughnuts and signing receipt tickets. Morelli is out-of-town to testify in a case and Ranger is more than willing to let Stephanie stay with him when circumstances make it difficult for her to stay in her apartment.
This adventure begins with the robbery of a jewelry store. Readers are treated to one car destroyed, apartment bombings, digging up bodies, a cousin's wedding, a road trip with Lulu & Bob, and other odd Plum-stories hijinks. Having read every book in this series, the characters, humor, and consistency in each of Evanovich's books makes them worth waiting a year to read. The ending of this work, will leave readers in a state of high watch for the 31st book in the series.
After the conclusion, Evanovich includes the Top Thirty lines from previous titles in the series as selected by the readers. This offers those who are fans of this series to reminisce about previous storylines.
Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for allowing me to read this in return for an honest review.

Stephanie Plum, semi-successful bounty hunter, is back for another adventure. Accompanying her on her quest to get FTAs (Failure To Appear) who missed their court dates to 'reschedule" are her sidekick and "former ho" (as she frequently refers to herself) Lula and Bob, a large dog of indeterminate breed who eats everything in sight including many things one would assume were inedible. At the same time, there are the usual conflicts between Stephanie's two love interests, the mostly stable cop Joe Morelli and the mysterious and dangerous Ranger. In this outing, Stephanie is hired by a jewelry store owner to track down his former security guard. When the store was robbed, the security guard, Andy "Nutsy" Manley. stood by and let the robber escape with a bag of jewelry. Not only that, after the robbery it was discovered that a tray of loose diamonds was missing. The owner of the jewelry store, Martin Rabner, wants Stephanie to find Nutsy (an old schoolmate of hers) and find out what happened to the missing items from his store. The robber, Duncan Dugan, was quickly apprehended by the police, but the bag of jewelry was missing and he missed his court date. So she's got plenty of things to keep her busy. Then Lula becomes convinced that Grendel, a monster from a video game she's playing, is breaking into her apartment at night. There are the usual car mishaps and fire bombings and people staying "temporarily" with Stephanie for one reason or another. Oh, and Stephanie must once again hire some people with unusual skills to help her sort out the real criminal in the case.
Fans of the series will find that no new ground is broken here, but the characters are still funny and up to their usual adventures. As always, the story ends on something of a cliffhanger, so we'll all have to see if any of the big questions in Stephanie's life are resolved next time around (I'm not holding my breath!).

Fans of the Stephanie Plum series will be overjoyed to see this, the 30th title in the series. It delivers everything her many loyal readers expect, and as a bonus, it looks like Stephanie might be a step closer to a marriage. But, as always, it is complicated! It's all here -- the capers, the laughs, the hilarious main and supporting characters, and the romance. I look forward to recommending this title.

Well I hadn’t kept up on Stephanie Plum. I think book number 20 was the last book I read. I’m very sad to say that nothing has really changed since then. I did appreciate the ending cliff hanger and hope that it will actually move this series along a bit instead of always having the Ranger/Morelli triangle.

Loved it! Another great job by Janet Evanovich. Surprise ending...ready for the next book :) We get to see more of Ranger and Stephanie interaction. I would love to see more of Grandma and her quirkiness weaved into the story, but we do get to see her a little in this book. All in all, nothing but thumbs up for this book!

The latest in the Trenton Bounty Hunter series does not disappoint. Stephanie’s family, friends, coworkers and love interests never fail to entertain. What will get blown up, who will she choose, will she capture her targets, what will Grandma do….? Come for the mystery, stay for the fun!

Janet Evanovich is back with this 30th version of our favorite bounty hunter and all of her sidekicks. I loved this one. It was funny of of course the challenges and automobile issues have stayed the same. I laughed more at this one than the previous few books in this series. The Burg is active with Stephanie's work on apprehensions but she takes on another job of finding someone who might have stolen some diamonds. That story line alone is worth the read. And of course there is a hefty dose of Ranger because Morelli is out of town most of the book. The last chapter makes it hard to wait for book 31. Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC.

Always a good time. Favorite characters let you dive right in, Beach or pool reading at its best. Pltlines still s strong as 30 books ago.

This is the thirtieth installment of Evanovich's humorous Stephanie Plum series and it does not disappoint. Once again Stephanie and her sidekick Lula encounter a variety of loony characters plus the usuals--Morelli, Ranger, Connie and Stephanie's family, Both Stephanie and Lula are becoming more self aware and that helps to keep this long series fresh. It was as always fun to read and I'm looking forward to thirty-one

Always fun, this Stephanie Plum book was one of my favorites. This book had lots of laughs and the usual firebomb and destroyed car, but stayed away from the kooky. Lots of Ranger and Morelli action, which always adds to thefun.

Stephanie and Lulu in another new adventure to catch bond skippers. Bob, Morelli's dog is along for the ride adds some humour. Jewelry robbers, grave diggers, clowns this books has plenty of colorful characters. 30 books into this series and I'm sure people will enjoy the bombs, bullets, car racing and a little touch of romance.

4.5/5.
Janet Evanovich is a well known name in my household. My mom has been reading her books for as long as I can remember and seeing her enjoy these books made me fall in love with reading.
This book is classic Janet Evanovich. And the ending leaves you impatiently waiting for more. Stephanie Plum is a comfort character for sure and is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud. So so good! We can’t wait for the next instalment in this series!
Thank you netgalley and Atria Books for an e-arc of this book!

As usual this book did not disappoint. Fun, fast paced book full of mystery and romance, as well as many laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

This is another winner with Stephanie and Lula as the stars. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

As Stephanie is taking care of Morelli’s dog Bob, she and Lula learn that a local jewelry store robbery may be a lot more complicated than first believed.
Thirtieth in the series and still lots of fun!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Janet Evanovich brings us back to Jersey and Trenton's favorite bounty hunter. Stephanie is left to babysit Bob when Morelli has to go out of town. This means that Bob gets to go on the many adventures with Stephanie and Lula as they go after those who skipped out on their next hearing. What appeared to be an easy assignment has turned into a mystery with too many missing pieces. As the situations escalates, Stephanie has to turn to Ranger for help. To make matters worse, Lula is being haunted by a demon in her house. Follow along as Stephanie, Lula, and Bob figure out how all the pieces fit together as they try to catch their guys and try to avoid disaster along the way. To top it all off, Stephanie receives a surprise that shocks her to her core which may force her to make a decision that will impact everyone's life or she may just ignore it hoping it will all go away or resolve itself.
Janet Evanovich brings us back to the life of bounty hunting with Stephanie and her friends. We get to tag along as they try to find people to bring in and what misfortunes it may lead to. You keep turning the page to see what happens next and if Stephanie can actually find these people and bring them in, as well as what trouble she can get into and what damage it may bring on her and those around her. It is always nice to visit with everyone and check in with her family. I always look forward to see what she does next and how it somehow all works out.
I have read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Atria Books for this privilege.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC
Another fun and adventurous caper with Stephanie Plum and Lula. Lets not forget the exchanges with the sexy Ranger while Morelli is out of town. The humor and zany situations compound to make a most enjoyable read. I couldn't put the book down. Janet Evanovich does not disappoint this reader.

Consistently funny, well-plotted, and action packed, this series has been around a long time and doesn’t seem to be flagging. The reliable main characters are all here, as well as the latest low-lifes, misfits, and the anticipated body at the latest viewing at the funeral home. Wrapping all this up in a nice package is a revelation at the end—much food for thought, and I’m all ready to put my money down on what I expect will happen next. Another great read!
