I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Erin has been pining for Ty for years and when they finally make some strides major tragedy and mistrust occurs. Erin runs from the conflict and Ty wallows in his decisions and trust issues.

Erin moves to Wyoming but will that keep Ty away or will he and Erin be able to mend fences and turn their relationship around?

Another great read by Diana.

I enjoyed this book. It was heartfelt and romantic. Erin has come along way. In the end she finally found her happiness. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review

Before I begin, I want to share that I am a HUGE fan of this author. I have read every book she has written. Some I have loved and some not so much. This book was really great. But it's not easy reading, a few of the characters in the story die from Cancer and strokes and heart disease. They are supporting characters and they are also the more mature characters in this story. There are also no drugs. no mercenaries or gun fights in this book. It centers more on ranching and living in a small town. This story begins in Texas and then it moves to Wyoming and then it goes back to Texas.

This is a brother best friend romance and also a work together romance. There are no dates with anyone other than the main characters in this story. That was a huge plus in this story. In addition, we get to see some really old characters from the authors older series in this story. Like my personal favorite The Lassiter Detective Agency. Kudos to the author for doing that. I totally loved that.

Erin is best friends with Annie, they are very close and grew up together. They are also neighbors and while Erin is pretty broke, Annie has a lot money. Annie has an older brother, Ty who Erin has been in love with since age 13. She also works alongside Ty at their family company.

Ty is a grumpy guy and has given up on love after his almost fiancee tried to marry him for his money. But he starts to see Erin in a new way and asks her out a few times. But when he thinks she betrayed him, he does some awful things to her and thats how she ends up going to Wyoming.

This is what I loved about Erin, she does not take him back right away. Ty gets punished in the worst way possible and I was totally loving how she barely gives him the time of day. I really enjoyed this story. My only issue is that I felt everything gets tied up at the end of the story a bit too fast.

This was a good read. I liked that the heroine stood up for herself and the hero let her be, at least for a while. I didn't like that the heroine has to be in tragic circumstances before the hero would notice her.

I don't know how she does it, but she can still make me cry! I finished this title way into the wee hours of the morning and do not regret it! Diana's books are classics and I love how she revisits families, friends, and communities. From Texas to Wyoming, this story did not disappoint!
