"Til Human Voices Wake Us" is an enjoyable mystery/crime novel that will intrigue both teen/young adults and an adult audience. It deals with themes of friendship and trauma in a realistic way and will have readers on the edge of their seats. Recommended for readers who enjoy teen/young adult suspense and darker mysteries. Not what I was expecting, but I liked it!
Cia sets out to solve her best friend’s murder, and digs into her own traumatic past. The characters’ personalities were really well developed- the author made you feel like you understood each one. Smart, hard to put down, and a bit nerve wracking- perfect for true crime junkies. Looking forward to the next in the series!
