I love TJR (especially as an Emerson alum myself) but this one wasn't for me. I don't think this was the authors fault, but rather mine. My tolerance for sad stories has dwindled through the pandemic so I just didn't finish this one.

This is not a book for me. It's not that it was bad, it's just not my genre. I requested this book along time ago while I was trying to figure out my likes and dislikes in different genres. I appreciate NetGalley for this. Now I know. I'm much better at choosing a book I will enjoy. I ended up not finishing it so a I never wrote a review.
