Stewart’s lyrical writing and vivid world-building, the alluring plot and characters, had me hooked and I never wanted the pages to end. Overall, a full 5 stars read.
Though their relationship was filled with sexual tensions and banter, their connection was undeniable and real. So if you are looking for a fun, entertaining romance with some twists, then this book undoubtedly fits the bill.
This is my ARC review and all thoughts and opinions are mine. I absolutely loved this book, I was hooked from the beginning! The way the main characters story evolved was so sweet and pure. Some parts I laughed some I cried and some broke my heart. I will say please check the trigger warning some topics might be too much for some. But over all I thoroughly enjoyed "Reckless Grace" from beginning to end and highly recommend!
Action, suspense and romance! Gracie was adopted into a family of spies who bring down child traffickers. She is wary of Dusty, an FBI special agent, who worked with her family on a previous mission. Dusty is back and looking into Gracie's family's illegal activities but he can't fight his red-hot attraction to Gracie. Someone is after Gracie's life and Dusty is intent on keeping her safe. However, Gracie does not trust Dusty even if the sparks between them can't be ignored. This is the perfect mix of suspense and romance and I absolutely loved the immediate attraction between Gracie and Dusty. The drama with Gracie's family and the story behind Gracie's biological parents kept me intrigued and I couldn't put this one down! I didn't know this was the second in a series so some details surrounding the background story were assumed- I would have preferred to read the first in the series before this one. I haven't found a lot of books that combine high-stakes action and suspense with a hot romance and overall this was a great read!
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the latest offering in the Spymaker's Guild world a world where trafficked children are rescued and turns into world class spies who are then used to bring down the traffickers and rescue even more kids. Grace wasn't really trafficked as she was adopted as a child but this means that she has no real contact with her parents She meets Dusty a FBI agent who is intent on investigating her parents. Things take off between them as they work together to find out what is happening. This is the perfect mix of suspense and drama and keeps you engaged all through the book I do think that you will enjoy it far more if you have read the previous books in the series
This is book 3 in a series and while it could be read as a stand alone, the reader would have more background information by reading the previous books. I liked the intrigue and I liked the action (both romantic and thriller). I loved the Mantua family dynamics. I had a little difficulty with the romantic feelings connection between Grace and Dusty. Maybe because Grace was so suspicious. Momma’s story was heart wrenching so sensitive readers be warned. This is an exciting series so far. I wonder whose story is next?
