Pocket Peaches by Dora Want - 5/5
Children's Fiction

This graphic novel is beyond adorable. I love the illustrations and all the little details that pull it all together. When a new cat, Taro, moves to town Peaches wants to become friends and sets out to make that happen. I things all children enjoy a story about kindness, acceptance and friendships.

Thank you NetGalley and Stories Untold for the eARC.

Peaches the adorable bunny, challenges themself to make friends with Taro the new kitty in town, despite the strange rumours about them.

This book was very easy to get into. I loved the characters, they are all so cute and well drawn. Dora Wang has created a perfect cosy read for middle grade children.

This book is adorable with its cartoon drawings and pastel colors. It was a very wholesome story about Peaches the Cat wanting to befriend another cat who seems like an outcast named Taro.

The story is very cute, there are plenty of colorful and beautifully drawn visuals to keep children engaged, and the vibe of this book is all about friendship and being a good person.

It is a very short book which is great for young readers, but long enough that it will feel like an accomplishment to them.

So darn cute!

A very wholesome story about Peaches, a cat who wants to become friends with Taro.

Taro reminds me a lot of myself. We're very similar.

I loved the art, it's so beautiful and peaceful. Makes me feel all cozy and relaxed.

The story is very cute and well developed. There's a bit of everything: intrigue, comedy, drama. You name it. The characters are all very lovely. I wish I could be their friend.

It's a very short book perfect for young readers. They will absolutely love it!

I received an advanced copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
In a city called Pocketon, cute animals, such as Peaches, notice a newcomer to the area named Taro. Peaches and her two friends, Mango and Pogi, try different ways to befriend Taro. With a sleepover in mind, Peaches, friends, and Taro come over to watch a horror movie despite Peaches being afraid of them. Can Peaches finally be honest before the night is over?
Absolutely adorable! The artwork and designs are so flippin' cute. Dora Wang does a fabulous job creating this magical world of creatures of all kinds in a whimsical city full of happiness and friendships. Even though Peaches doesn't like all things supernatural, she does try her best to be friends with Taro. At least they all have "Mew Mew" in common, and that show is cute, too. Maybe another volume down the road?

Peach wants to befriend the new person person in town, Taro.

This book is filled to the brim with sweetness, sugar in all forms, and the cutest little characters ever. I just adored it.

I look forward to more in this series in the future and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this cute little town.

Also - I was ridiculously excited to see the Sailor Moon fan nod. Too precious.
