My 3rd grader absolutely loved this book so much so that we ended up buying this book and more books in the series.
Great writing and easy to follow for his level and a bit above, depending on your child's reading abilities.
Our son loved the characters and the humor. He laughed, which made him want to keep reading. Books like this are hard to come by for him, as he dislikes reading. We have purchased these books for others and for Toys for Tots etc. Thank you to the Author!
Thank you to NetGalley, the Autor, and publisher for providing an digital coy of this book for review.
This was a super cute graphic novel. It was full of adventure, and the puns and jokes had me giggling!
Definitely pick this up if you have a young one, or even for yourself to get a little giggle!
Thank you Netgalley, the author, and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Waffle, Curly and Sweet Potato Fry are friends in Spudtown. Waffle is looking for adventure while the others are content. Then Spudton is attacked by UF Onionrings! All of a sudden this trio is called in to be heroes! Vibrant illustrations and straightforward punny text make this a delight for young readers.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book.
A rather silly, empty story. Read this for sheer entertainment value, not expecting messaging. Just expect a lot of puns about potatoes, friend foods, and condiments.
Thanks to NetGalley and its author for providing me with an advanced copy of this book.

IT WAS SO SO FUNNY TO SEE IT AND READ IT.
5.0
This was adorable! I’m so glad I picked it up from NetGalley. I loved the puns and the art style. I think this would be a great read for everyone, especially kids.
The stories are adorable. I love the whole alien invasion story. I think my middle schoolers will love this. The art is cute the fight scenes are hilarious. I had a lot of fun reading it.
4 stars
The French fries vs onion rings dilemma is taken up a notch here when Curly, Waffle, and Sweet Potato are left to batter the UFO-nion Rings. Extreme silliness, groan-worthy puns, and lots of ketchup ensue. My enjoyment of this graphic novel hovered around three stars, however, I suspect the intended audience - kids - will love it, so I'll assign four twinklers. I'm not sure what these potatoey superheroes will battle in the next volume, but sign me up for a second helping.

I give this over all a solid 3.25
The artwork is lovely, fun, and vibrant and most of the story is easy to follow. But there are some very jerky, if not fully disconnected moments in this story that makes some bits hard to piece together.
I enjoyed this ARC and so did my 9 year old, but kiddo also said there were parts that seemed "random" and then it went back to the story.
Again, overall super cute and loved the artwork!
Me and my children enjoyed this story with all the characters within. It about three different types of fries that are trying to save the town from the onions rings. The onions rings are invaded the town of fry and it up to three friends to save the town. They try everything to get raid of the onions.
This story had action and adventure throughout. It had a few giggles with. The illustrations want along with the story well and were colorful.
I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is honest unbiased opinions.
Fry Guys is a funny book and the puns had us both laughing but we did wish there was a bit more of a story line mixed into the silliness. The illustrations were fun and we definitely laughed (always a good thing). We will read more of these if the author writes them.
OH MY GOD THE PUNS!!!!!
This was a solid fun read. Short. Funny. Fun art. It's a good way to pass some time.
Fry Guys takes place in a world where everyone is food and focuses on the adventures of three "fry guys" (though the protagonist of this book is identified as female). The story is cute as the trio fight off the UFO-nion Rings and puns abound throughout, which can be entertaining. Unfortunately, in general the story and humor falls a bit flat and there isn't much to make it stand out amongst the other children's graphic novels out there. If a kid is really into food and puns though, this would be a solid recommendation.
What a fun little graphic novel.
Welcome to Spudtown, population, Spuds. Meet the Fry Guys, Curly Fry, Waffle, and Sweet Potato. When onion ring ufos threaten potato town, the three of them end up trying to save it. After all, they are armed with mayo, mustard and ketchup guns.
Colorful and lively illustrations.
I await the next adventure of The Fry Guys.
Fry Guys is an adorably funny book that all ages can enjoy. If you love cheesy puns, this book is perfect for you! The illustrations match the humor of the story, and there are a lot of cute moments in the background of the images. I appreciated that each of the main characters has their own personality and worked together as a team. I will definitely recommend it.
This story made me so hungry! I loved how inventive the world in this was, the details in the background give such depth.
This was a silly, humor filled graphic novel. I really enjoyed the little nods to potatoes in the illustrations of the town, though the potato puns did get a little exhausting by the end of the book. Early graphic novel readers will likely have fun reading this one.
One of the best graphic novels my kids and I have read! We had the best time reading, laughing, talking about all the detailed illustrations, and was an overall fun read for adults and kids.
Thank you for providing me the opportunity to review "Fry Guys” prior to publication. I am appreciative and leave my sincerity review voluntarily.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was light and fun to read. There is fun jokes within about fries and food, I mean who doesn't love cheesy fries, am I right? I believe this would be wonderful and enjoyable for kids to divulge into. I may just purchase some for Christmas time!
