This was a fun book to read. When someone sees a cat use a strange fighting style, they decide to pay a visit to Metro City. This is someone from their owners past, and they want to settle an old score with them. The other short stories were also fun and were a joy to watch each one unfold. Fans of the previous Cat Ninja books will definitely want to check this one out.
i would read anything related to cat!!!!! 🫶🏼
and the art was BEAUTIFUL!!!!
thanks to the publisher for the copy!!!!!
This is another fun book from Epic! My kids love Epic & the Cat Ninja series. This one has more of the colorful illustrations and excitement they know well from the other books in this series! The story is unique & intriguing, and my kids (ages 6 & 8) both really loved it!
"Cat Ninja: Cat's Claws" was such a fun read with the kids! A new superhero universe for them to explore and they had even more fun looking though and discussing all the illustrations throughout! Fun and entertaining, recommend for a bedtime story with your little ones!
Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me the opportunity to review "Cat Ninha: Cat's Claw” prior to publication. I am appreciative and leave my review voluntarily.
This is a great graphic novel with six short stories. We get to follow Ninja Cat, and his friends on all sorts of action packed adventures. This would make an awesome addition to any child’s library!
This is an awesome series filled with action superheroes fighting villains and their plans in Metro City and short episodes focusing on different characters written and illustrated by different artists and authors exploring the CatNinja universe and adventures. It's well done and perfect for action-hero readers. I love the French she cat thief.
Got a eARC from NetGalley.
My son is 11 and loves Cat Ninja. He was very excited to read this new one with me. He said it was fun and exciting and he really likes the art work!
It's always fun to be back with Cat Ninja and the other crime fighters. My first grader loves this series! We snuggle up and read it together.
There's a great mix of comedy and right vs. wrong. We even see Le Chat helping Cat Ninja this time.
We especially enjoyed the Cat’s Claw stories with the background on Cat Ninja’s former master.
This was a hit with my child!
I received an advance copy from Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.
A fun and engaging, imaginative adventure in visual form. I appreciate this book as a comics reader and see great possibilities for its use as a classroom shelf read as a teacher.
Epic! is a great reading resource for my kids. They have used Epic! in school to help with reading and I love the stories so when I saw this book, I wanted to read it. It is a graphic novel, which are very popular. The book is 162 pages of fast paced adventure. The illustrations are perfect for the book and help the reader visualize the story. I would recommend this book for kids interested in good vs. evil stories with fun characters.
My 7 year old is a long time fan of the Cat Ninja, and was happy to be able to read this one a bit early thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. He had very positive feedback, and is looking forward to more in the Cat Ninja world.
I loved the seemingly disconnected stories that turned into more, and the fun action packed illustrations.
My four year old and I love the Cat Ninja series and were thrilled to be approved to read this title! This one was fantastic because it was made up of different stories. I loved being able to read one or two before bed and not leaving off in the middle of the book. Even though they were different stories it didn't feel disjointed at all -- they all contributed to the overall feel of the book and were cohesive. Despite being written by different authors each one felt like the Cat Ninja brand / books. This might be our favorite Cat Ninja book yet and I'll definitely be recommending it to young readers and purchasing a physical copy when it comes out!
My seven year old is loving all these new chapter books and he loved "Cat Ninja: Cat's Claw" and can't wait for more.
This was a great continuation of this series! My 7.5 year loved the main story. His only semi-complaint was that the story wasn't longer but he really enjoyed the short stories as well. He said he likes these stories because they exciting. He said that the battles were amazing and he can't wait for another to come out in this series.
I love watching him get excited about a series. Typically, when we read for NetGalley I read to him but he was so excited that he read it on his own in one sitting and I had to read it separately. We both enjoyed the series and I liked learning about Cat Lady's story. We really liked this one and we will continue the series as more come out.
