Book Review:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Elle Winnick and Quinn Camden became quick friends at a conference. In order to secure they remain strictly platonic, they made a pack. They vowed to always be honest, never engage in anything physical, and spend the first week of October in the city they first met. Through life’s ups and downs they have been each other’s constant source of strength. But when feelings start to arise, their friendship hangs in the balance.

I could not let the month of October pass without sharing Annabelle McCormack’s See You Next Fall. Not only does the cover scream read me during the fall season, the story evokes all the warm, cozy feelings.

McCormack tells Elle and Quinn’s love story over the span of four years. Alternating between the main character’s POV, readers are able to witness them transform from teenagers to young adults. This friends to lovers romance will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book also features:
-American FMC
-English MMC
-grumpy/ sunshine
-lots of banter
-he falls first
-karaoke scene

Special thanks to Netgalley and Annabelle McCormack for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was totally worth the wait on audio!! With read by Elizabeth Grace, this friends to lovers story was great on audio and perfect for fans of authors like Emily Henry and her book, People we meet on vacation. Anyone who enjoys seeing friends struggling with unrequited love and mutual pining won't want to miss this slow burn spicy romcom! Many thanks to NetGalley and the author for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!!

I struggled to finish this book.
This concept was super cute, and I loved that it was a fall book, because I feel like we don't see a lot of fall books!
I think the author's writing was skilled, but I did not connect with the characters the way I needed to, and I think in this instance a 1st person POV would have worked better for me.

I loved this book! It was sweet, romantic, and moved along quickly. The storyline between Elle and Quinn was passionate but delve deeply into their personal, individual lives. I loved it and would highly recommend!!!!

People who like reading books in third person will love this. Unfortunately, I just wasn't a fan of it. I didn't know going in that it'd be in third person, and there were too many italicized thoughts in between paragraphs that made it feel choppy to me. It might have been better had it just been written in first person. If that's your thing though, it was very cute.

Oh, this book is one of my favorites that I’ve read all year. There were pieces in the plot that reminded me of November 9 by Colleen Hoover which is also one of my favorite books ever. I became invested in the characters quickly and loved the way we didn’t just read about relationships but FELT the relationships through every interaction between each character. I didn’t wanna put this book down, and I was sad when it was over. I can’t wait to read more from Annabelle McCormack!

Elle and Quinn become best friends during a chance meeting in a janitor closet in Georgetown for a conference. A friends to lovers romance that follows two friends from opposite sides of the world and drastically different backgrounds who spend the first week of each October together. Will their friendship overcome life’s challenges and possibly lead to more?

I fell in love with Elle and Quinn immediately throughout this heartwarming story told through flashbacks. The two face real challenges alongside fantastic friends. Cozy up in front of a fireplace with your softest blanket and prepare to be enchanted this fall!

Thanks to NetGalley and Annabelle McCormack for the ARC in exchange for a fair review.

I love seeing a book where the romantic leads start as best friends! I especially love the fact, in this book, that the female lead is clear on expectations and rules and that he respects her wishes. I am a huge fan of best friend romances where they must decide if they should cross the line into more....and the risk of ruining what they have. Elle and Quinn were so much fun, and their easy friendship and playful banter were a great time to read. The dialogue seemed very realistic and pure. It's an adorable romance all around!

My only con about this book is that I didnt read it sooner! I was obsessed from the very start, it literally took me one day to read! I felt totally immersed in the story, following along with the characters throughout their decisions. I felt heart break and I felt joy with this book! I cried tears of sadness and tears of joy. A must read!

"But you--youre the sun" DYINGGGGG

Unlimited Stars!!! 10000000/10! Would recommend to any and everyone!

Elle and Quinn first encounter involves him requesting she kiss him in a janitor closet to avoid being caught by a overenthusiastic fan of his at a conference they were both attending. Their relationship can only go up from there, right? In a story told over four different years, the reader gets to enjoy this strangers to friends to lovers romance that is perfectly set in the fall!

I found this to be a super cute fall themed romance. I loved the story told in both Elle and Quinn's perspective, and found the jumping of years to keep the story interesting. I loved the ending, and felt like it was perfect for these two characters. I appreciated the growth of the characters and appreciated their recognition that they were miscommunicating at times and helped to clear it up, it feels like this is often the crux of many romance novels. Overall, it was a cute romance that got me ready for the fall season.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

I am a sucker for friends-to-lovers romances and See You Next Fall swept me off my feet. It was a fun seasonal read that I would recommend to readers looking for a little escapism. If friends-to-lovers or slow-burn romances are your preferences, this is a title that you should add to your shelf.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced edition in exchange for an honest review. I really loved this story! The main characters become best friends who inevitably fall in love with each other. But, with her living in Nashville, first as a struggling student coping with familial obligations and financial strain, and him living in England also dealing with familial obligations but in a very different lifestyle, the two struggle to stick to their plan to see each other once each fall.

As the story progresses, told in alternating points of view and switching between the present and the past, both of their lives change so much and their friendship dissolves. But, there’s a final chance for them to reconnect and rekindle their friendship and possibly their romance.

This reminded me a lot of an Emily Henry story. If you like witty dialogue, friendships, and missed connections, you’ll enjoy this book!
