📖Snapshot:
Elle is a bright and talented girl from Nashville who’s trying to figure out life. Quinn is an English viscount who accepts that his life is one of duty. They have nothing in common, yet when they meet, they instantly hit it off. They become long distance best friends who agree to meet up in the first week of October each year. Their friendship is tested over the years by family, relationships, duty, dreams, and their simmering feelings for one another.
💭 My Thoughts:
What I loved: See You Next Fall was a super cute friend to lovers romance. I loved the contrast between Quinn’s stereotypical “reserved & dry Brit” and Elle’s open American girl persona. These 2 characters could not be more different than each other on paper, yet he author was able to create delicious chemistry between them. I also appreciated that the author got the characters together without making one of the characters change who they are in order to be with the other.
What I didn’t love: I think the “now” timeline needed more page time to hash out the changes the characters went through in each of their lives to get to their happy ending. As the reader, Quinn’s passion felt like it was out of left field, and I wasn’t really sure what Elle wanted exactly with her life until the very end.
A huge thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest review!
Overall I liked this. I was happy with the somewhat shorter length and the time jumps back and forth. I’m a huge fan of friends to lovers and this did deliver on that mutual will they won’t they pining.
But, there was way too much miscommunication in this. It was frustrating. Like are y’all actually close friends or no?? This is very specific but I had a huge issue with a particular scene early on in a hotel lobby. Trying to spare the spoiler here but it is highly unrealistic for a person to be able to have a long somewhat normal conversation with the way they were dressed. A normal person would immediately get help from a person they knew when they ran into them and say “I will explain but I need you to get me out of here right now”. I guess it was supposed to be slapstick comedy but it really took me out of the story and I was never truly able to reconnect with the characters in a grounded way.
There were side characters I loved in this and they helped propel the story forward. And the time jumps kept me invested so overall I’d cautiously recommend. Thank you to NetGalley and victory co-op for this ARC!

This is the heartwarming story of Elle (a Tennessee gal) and Quinn (a British viscount) who meet at a conference in Washington D.C. We find Elle sleeping in a storage closet as Quinn bursts in to hide from a female pursuer and asks Elle to kiss him. This starts a comedic, fun friendship. They of course make a contract to only be just friends and meet in D.C . every fall.
As their friendship grows and their true feelings remain hidden are they willing to risk everything and break their pact?
I adored Elle and Quinn and was along for the ride as they supported each other and learned how to love themselves so they could hopefully open themselves up to love each other.
Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley for the ARC 🍂
I absolutely loved this book. The story had me hooked from the beginning, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The story was beautifully written and Quinn is quite possibly the best book boyfriend ever. Loved that there was a little spice too. This was my first book by Annabelle McCormack but it definitely won’t be my last. I will definitely be recommending this book to all of my friends
What a fun and quick read! Perfect book to start the fall season...
I thought this book was so adorable! Reminded me of that movie with Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon "Your place or Mine". Friends to lovers, long distance, and a slow burn. Perfect combination.
Honestly I am not a fan of the miscommunication trope but I actually think the author did it really well and I think it worked so well because of the dual POVs and the swapping between past and present. I am also not a fan of the instant love trope but with the perfect meet cute and the pining, I absolutely loved it.
This book was pretty fast paced but I do wish we were able to see more of Quinn's point of view.
AND don't get me started on the kissing booth scene, which was LITERAL PERFECTION. It had me blushing, swooning, and giving me all the feels.

review from goodreads:
this book was a good friends to lovers to strangers to lovers trope! also the fact quinn dropped everything for elle no matter what made me swoon. and he’s british i mean c’mon😍
it is told in alternating timelines over the span of four years. as much as i enjoyed that, i found that i was forgetting details from the present timeline. i also thought that a lot of plot points were rushed (like so many people wanting to get married after barely being together/knowing each other). also quinn needed to do so much more groveling because DAMN my girl elle did all of it. also i wasn’t a huge fan of the constant inner monologues and thoughts of the characters. i found it frustrating.
quinn and elle’s love story gave me “you are in love” by taylor swift vibes. i just wish the book was a little bit better as a whole.
thank you to victory editing netgalley co-op for this arc!
I loved reading See You Next fall! It was the perfect palette cleanser.
The thing I love about these kind of books, is you know there is going to be a happy ending, and sometimes, that is just what you need.
I loved the characters, and their relationship. They were both nice and genuine, they had their flaws, which made them relatable!
See You Next Fall is definitely worth the read when you need a nice quick feel good book!
Review to come ,
I will for now tell you what I was drawn to when selecting this book , the title, and the cover really got me.

3.5⭐️
.friends to lovers
.fast paced
This book, while it was a cute and fun read I did find it maybe a tad fast pace for myself. Some parts were confusing if I’m honest.
The friendship between the main characters was much better than them being a couple, rightfully they was kind of toxic together.
I definitely think there could have been more from them both and the overall plot.
Also I love a good slow burn so that is probably what is going to give it the rating it is.
Thanks to Netgalley and the author for an ARC and the author for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this unbiased review voluntarily.
This is a really sweet and steamy friends to lovers, opposites attract, across the pond romance. Quinn and Elle are excellent friends but there is always that simmering tension that hints at more. The writing is very good as it leaps from the past 4 years to the present.
I would have liked more depth to the characters - we got their back story but I didn't see anything about them that was truly individual. I liked Quinn the best, as he seemed to have his head on his shoulders, but Elle seemed to make a lot of decisions out of fear for someone that was apparently fearless.
Having said that, I enjoyed the read. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for me.
Read this book, y'all. I'm in love with it!
Elle and Quinn are best friends after an adorable meet-cute at a conference. They pledge to having a standing vacation together the first week of October every year. The rules are clear - they are just friends, nothing more, and honesty is key. Due to the fact that Elle lives in Nashville and Quinn in England...that makes sense! But lines become blurred, feelings change, and life gets in the way. It is the sweetest friends to lovers story that I've read in a long time!
What I liked: I really enjoyed the dual timeline...then and now. It drew me in and added to the suspense of what would happen to them! I have started to grow tired of the miscommunication trope - but this, this did not do that. I genuinely felt that I was watching a real life relationship between wo people, with real issues and real miscommunications. The chemistry and tension between the characters was palpable.
What I didn't like: Nothing! I wouldn't change a single thing!
I know that this review doesn't necessarily say anything that would grab your attention to make you read it, but just trust me....you want to read it. I have not stopped thinking about this book since I finished it.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for this ARC!
While I did really enjoy this book, I felt the ending was rather rushed. Also, I thought their friendship was cute but them as a couple seemed very toxic. And I would have like more chapters from Quinn's POV. At times, I didn't feel like I understood his decisions and actions. Overall, though, this was cute and a good reset book.
I started this and didn’t put it down till I was finished. I really enjoyed it was such a sweet story till it broken my heart into pieces. I was so emotional involved i absolutely loved Elle & Quinn and their cool yearly trips. It’s such a different take on a romance book. Then the heartbreaking comes with no contact for a year. But both of them rush to be here for their yearly vacation. Elle is now a county star singer and Quinn has a serious girlfriend. Heart broken. They spent a perfect day before going back their life’s. I would definitely recommend it’s a lovely heartwarming heartbreaking love story with characters you just love.
See you Next Fall!
I absolutely loved this book once I got into the story deeper! It started off slow for me, but once I got into the book I couldn’t put it down! I loved how the story devolved and how it took so many turns that I wasn’t even expecting! I loved how this reminded me of some many relationships that happen in the day and time! I also loved how it was from both point of views not just one! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was how it had what they were thinking in their head a lot, and I just didn’t love that! All in All I give this book a 4/5! It would definitely be a great read on a fall day sitting about 60 degrees with the windows up and a pumpkin candle lit, reading while your husband or boyfriend watches football! I absolutely can’t wait to read more from this author!
Tried to leave a review on Amazon but couldn’t will review once book is on there! Will also leave review on my Bookstagram Doubletroublelibrary

Let’s cut to the chase, I absolutely loved and adored this book! I have read many rom-coms in my life as they are my favorite genre, and this is one that I will read again and again.
Elle and Quinn live an ocean apart and meet by chance during their last year in college. Quickly bonded, they spend the next few years becoming best friends who have no idea they are in love with each other. Vowing to see each other each fall, their bond only grows stronger and more confusing. With circumstances, responsibilities, misunderstandings, and geography standing in their way, will these 2 find their way to each other?
I legit read this book in a day; I could not put it down! Elle and Quinn, as main characters, were realistic, flawed, courageous, and charming. I believed that these 2 would make the choices they made, and that they truly cared for the other. Their friendship grew organically and the feelings they had grew with them. And who can go wrong with my favorite rom-com trope, one bed?
Q and Elle are both strong protagonists that show amazing growth throughout the book. Their chemistry is fantastic, and I loved reading their story. When Ciarra came back into the picture, I was angry. At that point in the novel, I felt let down by Q. Both Q and Elle were terrible about communication and it was driving me wild. Also, why did Elle just slip out? Leave a note. I’m not the music star bit was needed. It felt like the point had been overly made and this was just overdoing it.
I adored this feel good, friends to lovers romance. I could not put this book down and finished it within a 24 hour period! This book had SO many moments that had me grinning until my face hurt, laughing, tearing up and even had my stomach in knots at times.
I loved the past/present and dual pov. I fell in love with both characters. Their meet cute, photo booth moment😍and grand gestures were all *chefs kiss*. While there is miscommunication and that can be an issue in some books, it was not in a frustrating way. It felt believable for the characters situations. I was happy that both characters had the opportunity to grow individually!
Final thoughts: This addictive book gave me everything it needed to! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys friends to lovers, slow burn, he falls first, soul mates and cozy fall vibes!

Such a wonderful book, I loved the plot, and oh my god the characters were so amazing!! I definitely will be recommending it!!
This was such a cute and quick read. I felt like I immediately connected with the characters as they went on a journey from friends to lovers.
I wish that the characters had been fleshed out a little bit more and that there was more detail about why they made the choices they did, but overall, I enjoyed a relaxing read and it's making me ready for Fall. I definitely recommend for readers looking for something whimsical and lighthearted.
