Elle and Quinn share a standing date as friends for four years. A relationship between them is impossible because her life is in Tennessee and his is in England. They’ve set rules, no sex and to always be honest with each other. As the years go by there is something deeper than their friendship, but in order for a relationship to work, they’ll need to be willing to take risks.

See You Next Fall is such a feel good friends to lovers story. It’s sweet and I absolutely enjoyed that their meets are in October. This book is a nice and cozy slow burn. Mistakes were made but I love a character that shows growth and makes a grand gesture, that really resonates with me. Overall, See You Next Fall was quite a delight to read and it can totally be a binge read!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC and the chance to read and review it honestly.

Happy Reading

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this arc.

I got to be honest. I read how they met, I read the second meet up in London..I skipped the third meet up to get to the drama and the ending. Like others have commented, it’s an overall cute story but is drawn out.

What happens when you meet your soulmate while hiding in a hotel closet? You both ditch the conference you came all the way to Georgetown to attend and spend time getting to know each other. The time they spend with one another is enough to know that they like each other and agree to meet in Georgetown this time every year! Oh, did I mention these two strangers Elle and Quinn make a pact. The number one thing on their list is no sex and one of the others is total honesty.
For starters, Elle is from Nashville and Quinn is from England. So, they only see each other once a year. While there is flirting and true friendship, they both feel the friendship takes priority. They would never want to ruin what they already have. They remain friends even though they both secretly want more. Through the years they meet each other’s families and friends and have their ups and downs with work and life in general all the while staying in touch by phone calls and texts. Their feelings grow deeper and they begin to rethink their pact. Will breaking the rules ruin everything or will it lead to happily ever after? And if it works, where will they live? In the US or England?
Loved this book and went by so fast! Can this be a movie??

See You Next Fall is about a couple that's challenged and separated by timing issues, geographic distance, and circumstance. Elle is from Nashville and Quinn is from London. They meet on a trip to DC for a college student conference. Elle is a scholarship student working multiple part time jobs. Quinn is a British aristocrat and heir to a family dynasty.

As different as they are, they connect immediately. (There's a funny meet cute in a janitorial closet as Elle is trying to catch some rest before checking into a hostel and Quinn is trying to escape a girl chasing him.) They agree to meet each year during the first week of October. In between, they text and talk and become best friends.

Taking place over a 4 year period, this is a very slow burn romance. After all, the characters' face to face interactions are limited to once a year. It's told in flashbacks with sections devoted to each of their meet-up's. Even though Elle and Quinn spend a week or less in each other's company each time, they share many adventures and heart-to-heart talks with each other. The author gives you a window into each character's dreams and struggles.

My only frustration with the book was pacing. It felt too slow in some sections.

Special thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley.com for sharing an advance copy.

Such a lengthy story of two passionate people trying to find their own passions while making very large leaps into expensive plane rides to and fro. So many spontaneous plane trips, big gestures....I loved the dialogue between Q and L but the big gestures were too much.

I really tried to enjoy this book. It had a great premise to it but I thought it was rushed. I would have liked a lot more detail and way less miscommunication between main characters.
