The patterns are easy to follow (US terminology); this could be improved by including some directions/explanations as to how to do the stitches would be useful to someone new to crochet. I liked the clear diagrams that showed how to put the pieces together. I needed to Google the yarn, as again it’s US. I couldn’t get the book to download to my Kindle, but to be honest I think I’d prefer this in my pdf reader so I could make notes on it. I didn’t really like any of the pieces, so won’t be making any, but that’s my personal preference. I don’t think I’m keen on buying this type of book unless I can see it. So to round off, if you like the pieces I’d recommend this book.

With 6 different designs this book has something for everyone. Personally, there's a couple I'm planning to try, first up the Moroccan Nights Cocoon.

The patterns seem easy to follow with gauge & sizing guides.

Overall a nice book of patterns, which I'll pop a review up of once I've got round to giving the patterns a go.

"Oversize Fashion Crochet" is a Lionbrand pamphlet/small book containing six patterns for oversized sweaters and one scarf. The book uses bulky yarn and the patterns are very easy to read. The garments in this book would work up pretty fast because of the bulky yarn and large hook sizes. These patterns are perfect for the Autumn/Winter season and I believe this book would a great addition to every crocheter's library..

A great book of easy to follow patterns featuring Lion Brand yarns. I have used Lion Brand products for many projects and they produce excellent results. These patterns are easy to follow at any skill level. Any of these patterns would make great gifts for your family and friends or even yourself. I would recommend this book to any of my "hooker" friends.

This is the perfect addition to your crocheting repertoire. I love that it uses chunky yarn and big needles to work up projects super fast.
All of the projects look great, but I’m going to make the High Desert Poncho first. I think that it will be perfect for the fall.

This is a book of a few crochet projects that would be useful for beginning crocheters looking for quick and large projects for themselves and/or gifts.

In Oversize Fashion Crochet, Baca introduces 5-6 patterns of sweaters, poncho/wraps and scarves that can be made quickly and keep you warm.

The patterns and shapes are relatively simple but would look like they were harder to make. You could impress a gift recipient, or teach yourself a few stitch patterns and make some fashionable items for the winter.

This book is great! It has well done photos of the items on a person. There are also shapes images given for how to assemble things. The patterns are easy to read and follow. In addition, there are sizes complete with measurements. Plus! She has included tips along with the patterns. A great layout. A great resource.

This is an excellent resource with timeless pieces that will keep your hands busy and body warm! The patterns are easy to understand and the finished projects are lovely!

This is a collection of only 6 patterns of oversized sweaters, a poncho, and other bulky garments. While this is a limited group of patterns, I found them all do-able and attractive for the average crafter. The schematics and drawings of how to assemble the garments were particularly good.

I really like nearly every project in this book and can see myself making them! I am still pretty beginner, so it would have been nice to have more photos of finished projects, like from the back and with how folded some are stretched out so you can better see the finished product and know how it all fits together. I like that there's only a handful of projects and that the cost reflects that. If it was priced any more expensive I don't think many people would get it.

I love oversized things in general, but I also love crocheting, so this is a great way to combine the two! Plus I get to show off what I made! The book was easy to follow and gave you step by step instructions for each piece.

Great patterns, easy to follow instructions and good designs. The projects are fun and bulky hooks and yarn mean they work up quickly. Perfect for chilly or cold weather! A nice addition to any crochet pattern library.

This is perfect to have a few patterns for fall. The patterns are easily laid out, even for a beginner like myself. I love that we get clear pictures of the different panels and how to lay them out. This is a book I will definitely keep coming back to!

They can all be adapted to meet your own needs and are the type of garments you would love to cuddle up in. Even though there are only 6 patterns it is a good starter book.
