5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!!! Megan befriended LC and they became instant best friends. But what Megan doesn’t know is that LC chose to become friends with her for a reason. For their friendversary, they attend a party together and Megan wakes up hours later in LC’s body, and the nightmare begins. Great book!

Megan has made a new friend by the name of LC. Since Megan is still trying to figure out who she is, LC is able to convince her to do things that she normally wouldn’t do. This leads to Megan waking up after a party to find that she is no longer in her own body. LC has stolen her body and acts like she is the real Megan. This leads Megan to realize that this isn’t the first time that LC has swapped bodies with someone. Megan goes on a mission to get her body back and in the end, finds the friend that she thought she lost at the age of six.

Insta buy author. Every time she puts pen to paper she’s bound to make a masterpiece. And this time wasn’t any different.

I really enjoyed this book and how fast paced it was. I do feel that some parts were too fast paced and that in some places there could have been a little more detail, so it did not feel like it was just jumping to the next scene. Other than that I loved the book and the characters and the message in the book! After everything all the young ladies learned about themselves and was taught a really good lessons.

Thank you Netgalley for this Arc. This was a great read for the spooky season. It gave attack of the body snatchers vibe. Megan was going through it in this book and I really felt that she was just a naive teen, they all were. This is why you have to keep a close on these kids!! I finished this book in three days because I was really invested in how this all was going to work out. This was a great read and I would recommend it to those who enjoy Tiffany D. Jackson and YA thrillers.

I wish I could give this book more than 5stars.
YA, sci-fi, mystery, thriller
This gave me Stranger Things meets Black Mirror with a dash of Jordan Peele. I am obsessed with this book.
Megan is delighted to have a new bestie (LC). On their friendship anniversary Megan and LC go to a party that takes an unexpected turn. Megan wakes up in a body that is not her own. 👀
This book is extremely fast paced and so entertaining. It kept me up all night trying to finish it. It definitely holds true to being YA but in the most endearing way. The character development was perfect. You will find themes of friendship and self discovery (like most YA). The ending was perfect in my opinion and I genuinely hope we get some sort of sequel.
This was the perfect fall/spooky season read.

What a ride! This is a YA, creepy Sci-fi that definitely gives Get Out vibes.
Megan is finally starting to fit in with the “cool” kids now that she has become friends with LC, a teen that has breezed into Megan’s life and connects with her in a way that makes Megan feel seen and special. They go partying and Megan tries drugs for the first time but when she wakes up she is not in her own body and LC is no where to be found.
It felt like it started as a creepy horror and then quickly got into the sci-fi realm. I kinda wanted it to stay more horror but it was really fun and hard to put down. You just gotta know What. Is. Happening!!!
Thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins for an eARC.

This book is definitely a 5 star read. It gives thriller meets a little fantasy. All of the characters experienced development throughout the book. *spoiler* I really am happy that the black women made it out in the end. I knew Tessa couldn’t be trusted throughout the book. I’m glad people believed Megan and she was able to make it out of this on top. Shout out to Ryan and Ava too - the end result couldn’t have happened without them believing her. Nia is an amazing writer and I finished this in a day. Could not put it down.

I was extremely excited to read this book because I loved Nia Davenport's adult fantasy The Blood Trials. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to my expectations. I understand this is a YA novel but in much of the book it felt as if Davenport was writing down. Stylistically it was quite low quality and there were clunky awkward sentences and unrealistic dialogue.
I wanted to be more invested in the main characters Megan and LC but we did not get enough time with them and the dynamic of their relationship before the body swap occurs and we are plunged into the action of trying to figure things out. There are some major plot points that are either rushed and not fully fleshed out or completely implausible.
This could use another round or two of editing.

This YA Thriller kept me up all night reading and trying to finish because it just that good. It is suspenseful, adventurous, and couch gripping lol. Nia Davenport did a great job on the character-building and along with the story line! I can't wait until it hit the shelves because the cover is everything as well. I'm honored to even receive this book as an Arc. Nothing but 5 stars from me!

I have one word for this: AMAZING. NIa Davenport is now on the autobuy list. This was a thriller I didnt know I needed.

Out of Body was very entertaining. It was fast paced and I couldn’t put it down. Out of abody had me rooting for all characters good or bad. I highly recommend this book. With out saying any spoilers One thing I wish was different was if the author went into more detail or gave a back story on how this out of body experience came to be. I felt myself asking well why is this a thing. Overall it’s still a five star read.

A high-stakes, propulsive YA thriller with a body-swap twist thoughtfully exploring themes of friendship and identity, perfect for fans of Tiffany D. Jackson.
This was excellent. One of my new favorite books.

4.5/5 stars
Another great book by Nia Davenport. My only criticism was that it felt like a fight between realism and fantasy/science fiction and I wish it leaned more into the science fiction. Otherwise, it was a light hearted and engaging read.
Thank you Davenport and NetGalley for the opportunity.

Out of Body by Nia Davenport was a five star read. The story pulled you in from the beginning and didn't let you go until the end. This is a book that I will be recommending to any and everyone who will listen
