A charming pleasant read. The storyline follows a grieving mother/wife as she relocates from Boston to a small town in Maine. The characters introduced, the setting and the storyline make this an excellent relaxing read.

Elana is moving to Maine to be closer to her brother. She's leaving Boston and hopefully her grief behind after losing her husband and unborn child in an accident. She's teaching English and gets roped into helping with the school play. A visiting actor gets her to realize she can't live in the past and look around her to find love. A sweet story in the Seahaven Sunrise series.

This book was such a good read.
Grief is a terrible terrible thing. It can come out of nowhere and at any time.
It does me sometimes. You never get over missing that person or persons.
Believe me I've been there. I still miss my mom/grandmother. It's a big hole that will never be filled.
Elena is a character that I've truly gotten to know and love. I enjoyed watching her grow into herself. A character that is heartbroken and flawed. My heart went out to her.
I especially liked Aunt Kit. She's full of knowledge and strength.
I learned a lot about sea glass. I've never found any on my part of the beach here in Daytona but I'd definitely love to.
This is an un put downable nnovel.
I ended up finishing it in one evening.
This is a new to me author that I've enjoyed very much.
5 stars for leaving me full and satisfied.
I highly recommend it.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

After Elena loses her husband, she feels it's time to make changes and move closer to her brother
She makes some lovely friends and finds ways of getting closure. The story behind the sea glass is so engaging and makes me keen to search for some when I next go to the beach. I loved everything about this book and I'm keen to read more in this series.

I so enjoyed my trip back to Seahaven Maine. Seahaven is actually a safe haven for newcomers and long time residents alike. This beautiful corner of the world is a nourishing and forgiving place to rest, grieve, heal and begin again.

Seahaven offered treasures from the sea, the most exquisite sunrises, delicious food, new friends and fresh starts. I encourage you to spend some time in this charming, seaside town.

I loved the relationship between Kit and Elena. They were friends, companions in sorrow and chosen family to each other. Each woman experienced a journey of life, grief and joy…alone and together.

I love sea glass and thanks to reading this lovely book, it now has new meaning for me.

This book, along with some genuine sea glass, would make a wonderful gift for someone special in your life.

Sea Glass Memories is a heartfelt story about grief.
It felt personal to me, and I think every person who had lost someone they love could easily relate to the main character inner journey.

Elana spent the last two years grieving her late husband, she thinks that transferring in a new town could help her to accept his passing. She moves to Maine, to be near her brother, and to become the new english teacher at the Seahaven High, but she still feels like a piece missing, so she decides to attend a grief support group to seek some comfort.

I adored Elana. She is stronger than she thinks, and the way she puts herself out there is inspiring and enviable.

Anne Marie Bennett wrote a powerful story in such a delicate way that gave me some relief and hope. I won't easily forget it.

Sea Glass Memories by Anne Marie Bennett is a story about second chances. Elena Jeffries lost her loving husband two years ago and has been grieving. She moves to Seahaven, Maine where her brother lives for a much needed change in scenery. Her new place takes her to a journey of understanding life in a way she hadn’t before.

The story is so much more than a romance. It’s about life, love, loss, grief, healing, and believing in second chances. I couldn’t help but think of the Netflix show Virgin River when I was reading this and I like that show! I was just hoping for a bit more chemistry between Elena and Jonathan but I also liked how the story ended.

Sea Glass Memories is the second book in the Seahaven Sunrise Series) but it can be read as a standalone. This is a story of second chances in love and life, a story of loss, love, healing and personal growth, where you will laugh, cry, and rule for the main character's happiness.
With very well developed and relatable characters and a plot that feels real this book grabbed me from beginning to end. Along with the descriptions of the small fictional town of Seahaven Maine which plays also as a big character in the story, this book will touch the emotional fibers of your heart.
Can't wait to read the following book in the series.

Such a joy to read Anne Marie’s newest novel. It’s warm and cozy and real and touching. It allows us to travel with our griever: feeling her pain, fear and yet the pull to step forward. I loved watching her journey as she attracted life and life attracted her. A beautiful story with wonderful characters written by a wise story teller. Enjoy

A beautiful story about how we all grieve in our own way. And, it’s ok to take as much time as you need to heal and finally be able to move forward.
I enjoyed getting to know the main characters. I have to say I loved each one.
A perfect read for those wanting/needing to go through the feelings/emotion of overwhelming grief.
This is my first book written by Anne Marie Bennett. I found her writing to be engaging and heartfelt. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Sea Glass Memories is a story of grief, loss, healing, and finding your way back to yourself. Elana moved to Seahaven, where her brother lived, got a job as an English teacher., and this seems to be the place she is meant to be in. She started to go to the local grief support group, and saw moments of feeling like they were lifting her up.
She gets distracted while helping with the school play, having moments of seeing herself before grief, and she was asked to help on the school play. She got distracted, and notice that she was moving forward, she sometimes smiled, laugh, and was happy. She learned why the local grief group had sea glass in a basket. This is part of Elana's journey,
Anne Marie Bennett, brings out the emotions, the feelings, of going through grief, and everyone has to find their own path making it through.
I received an ARC from KaleidoSoul Media through NetGalley.

Elana Jefferies suffered a major loss two years ago and has been struggling to put her life back together. She's now starting over in Seahaven, a small coastal town in Maine. There she'll be close to her brother, Carlos. Elena will be teaching high school English and hopes to keep a low profile, but she is asked to direct the senior class play where she'll be working with Jonathan, a popular history teacher. Elena is living in an apartment located in a Victorian house owned by Kit Gilmore known as Aunt Kit who teaches Elana that grief is like sea glass. Can Elana find another life, one without those she lost?

This is the second book in the Seahaven series and I loved it. The book's well-written and the characters are well-developed. The captivating story drew me in and kept me hooked from beginning to end. This is truly an emotional story that'll have you in tears in places and laughing out loud in others. I loved Elana and her path through grief as well as how she connects with others and the way that changes throughout the book. I enjoyed this book very much and am really looking forward to the next one. I highly recommend both book and series.

This is my favorite book from this author yet. Both Elena’s & Aunt Kit’s journeys through grief were so relatable and inspired hope. The sea glass metaphor really touched me. I wish Seahaven was a real town, because I would definitely love to visit. I also really enjoyed all of the characters in this novel and hope I hear more from them in future books. Anne Marie Bennett aims to write books that stir the heart & soul, and she has done just that with Sea Glass Memories.

This was a good emotional read. Elena has had a tough life and goes on a emotional journey to find herself again through all the grief. It’s not a book I would reread but I did enjoy it and think it would be a significant read for anyone who has dealt with the loss of a loved one
