It is a fantastic story, exhilarating plot, well developed characters, and a well executed shocking ending. I read in one day, unputdownable and very addictive. Recommend to every thriller reader.

I'm a sucker for a missing character with a second life and secrets. I thought this book was well paced and well woven together. I definitely loved trying to put all the pieces together.

I personally really like reading mysteries and the title of the book attracted me towards it. One of Us is Gone deals with a tightly knit group of friends who are investigating the disappearance of one of their friends. Even though the plot line isn't exactly original I really enjoyed the mystery surrounding the book. The characters kept me juggling through the suspects and it was definitely a fun ride.

I didn't think this story was as developed as it could have been and it didn't hook me as much as I had hoped it would from its description. While it was certainly interesting, I felt it could have been a bit more flushed out and the characters actualized more.

A group of friends attend Kensington University together as they have a pact that they will always stay close together.

When their friend disappears without a trace. They work together to try to solve the mystery of what happened.

From lies and betrayals. Can Cleo get off the suspect list and figure out which friend is guilty?

Not everything is what it seems. Especially when Sarah was living a secret life.

This was fast-paced and a lot of fun! Check out the book to figure out who did it.

I enjoyed this book and I liked the dual timelines!

The book and the plot had great potential if executed differently. I didn’t particularly care for any of the characters either which is something I need in order to really like a book.

This is however a good book if you’re just getting started with the YA thriller genre and I would recommend to beginner thriller readers.

I enjoyed this thriller and I did like the back and forth timeline. It was a little slow and I did feel like it took me a while to get through the book but overall I liked it. I liked the setting of college campus but I do feel like it was semi realistic.

I found this book quite enjoyable overall, and it certainly held my interest. However, the alternating timelines between present-day Cleo and past Sarah, unfolding 14 days before Sarah's disappearance, occasionally caused a bit of disorientation, particularly when I had to pause reading and then resume later on.

Despite this, the author skillfully synchronized the scenes between the two timelines, aiding in comprehension as the story progressed.

My primary concern revolved around the excessive repetition that slowed down the plot in various sections, as well as the prominence of certain storylines that intermittently overshadowed the main narrative, causing a sudden shift when refocusing on Sarah's storyline.

Despite these issues, I would recommend this book to enthusiasts of the mystery thriller genre, and I eagerly anticipate discovering what the author has in store for her readers next.

This book was phenomenal. It was a great thriller about a girl who goes missing. You’re slowly piecing together the days before she disappeared and peeking in on the present. Essentially everyone is a suspect. I couldn’t figure out who it was. I can usually guess whodunits fairly quickly. I couldn’t figure out who to blame until very close to the end. That’s the mark of a Well paced story. I really couldn’t put the book down.

It was a quick, entertaining read, but unfortunately I didn't think the story was anything special. Still, I'd give this author another chance, as there is definitely potential here. Some twists really surprised me. Maybe readers younger than me would like it more.

This one was slow all the way through. Too many unneeded details and it took too long to get to the point. Immature, unlikeable characters who they say are best friends, but are really out to hurt each other again and again. No thanks.

This one fell flat for me. First of I absolutely love the alternating timeline, in some places it was what kept me reading. Reading present and past converge into a story was great. The characters in this book just didn't appeal to me. I found them unlikeable. The story had way too many unnecessary details and repetitiveness.

Childhood friends Cleo, Sarah, and Milton begin life as freshmen. They are inseparable trio until Sarah vanishes without a trace. Cleo wants to find out what happened to Sarah, but as she begins to investigate, more secrets are uncovered. Does she really know her friends at all.

This was a fun and quick YA thriller. I was a bit disappointed with the ending, and characters came across younger than they were supposed to be, but overall still a good story and twists I didn't see coming.

Thank you to Netgalley, MDW Press, and Shauntel Anette for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
