What another great read from Cheyenne.
I do like a book that introduces me to new words, now know what a shouse is.
This story has a bit of everything, Sophie is badly injured and has a contract that could see the end of her fledgling business and jeopardise her home if she fails to deliver.
Good news, she has a (straight) twin sister. Can Allie a recently unemployed Accountant step in and pretend to be Sophie (gay) and fake it as an events planner.
Throw in a wedding based event, an assistant that hates weddings, a couple of feisty alpacas and a great supporting cast, what could go wrong.
Cheyenne writes a story that doesn't skimp on the supporting cast and their back stories too, a well paced read. Would recommend
Allie's twinsister Sophie ropes her in to do her job as an event planner because she got hurt in an accident and can't go to the little town herself. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
Allie is a real trooper for going through with it because how hard could it be right? Well, pretty hard if you fall for one of a resident of said small town.
There was a lot of dialogue involving the event and a lot of inside struggles for Allie while she was pretending to be Sophie. The back and forth was a little bit much for me as I really do feel like the reasoning to be deceitful was already flimsy to begin with.
The romance between Allie as Sophie with Tarryn was also rather sudden for me and I had some trouble getting into believing them as a genuine attraction and couple. I did enjoy the story but less than I am used to by this author's writing.

This book just wasn't for me. I hope others enjoy it though. I felt it was a little slow and I just wanted to connect with the characters and I felt I didnt.
Really cute sapphic romance. Its got lots of gay vibes, it has the perfect mix of fun things and more serious things. I love the tension most of all. Its very easy to read, and fast as well. Really enjoyable.
Thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review
This was a charming book that quickly draws the reader into its story. The characters are relatable and at times bring so much tension with the swapping the reader can hardly contain themselves.
I’ve become a huge fan of Cheyenne Blue over the last year and with I Do, she’s solidified a spot on the list of my favorite authors. I Do is a really sweet twin swap romance, I mean how can you not love this trope with all your heart. The main characters are not only likable but relatable. There’s enough tension to keep it interesting but it never overshadowed the plot line. I highly recommend giving this book a try. It’s sure to make you smile!!
I am a big ownvoices reviewer, and I can't wait to read more works by Cheyenne Blue. The parent trap-esque twin swap was a delight. At times the tension brought forth by the swap felt anxiety-inducing as a reader, but the payoff was worth it!
I've come to really enjoy Blue's novels and I was so intrigued by the storyline when I saw it. Who can resist a twin swap romance set in small-town Australia?!
I loved the premise and all of the characters, including our two alpaca friends. However, the romance unfortunately fell flat for me as I didn't feel the build up between Taryn and Allie. One second they're butting heads, the next they can't seem to stop kissing? I just wish there was a tad more development in the middle so I could feel their connection.
Regardless, I Do is a super cute read. I'm looking forward to what's next from Cheyenne Blue.
Many thanks to Netgalley and Ylva Publishing for a copy of this novel. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This was sweet. A simple, fun story with a nice setting and interesting cast and plot.
The ending fell a little short for me as it felt a tad rushed and i couldn't fathom some of the angst, but it was still an altogether enjoyable read!
Unfortunately, recently I’ve had issues we have a NetGalley and kindle a NetGalley not sending my arse to my kindle and unfortunately this is one of those books. I went to Reader ready to put on my review for NetGalley, but unfortunately when I went to read it, it was not on my kindle and I can’t re-download it as it is over the time limit that I could have
This was very charming and readable. A perfect light rom com with fun side characters, a quaint setting, and hilarious premise. While it stuck pretty closely to romcom tropes, it was never cloying or dull. Definitely a worthy addition to any rom com lovers TBR.
Cheyene Blue is on a roll. Each book she releases gets better and better. I lost a lot of sleep because of I Do. I suffered through the whole ‘one more chapter’ recital several nights in a row. And then it wrapped up, and I was sorry I hadn’t taken my time.
I Do is a small town, city girl/country girl opposite attracts story that has Allie pretending to be her twin sister to save her event-planning business. Ally, determined not to fail, gives it her all, and in helping this small community in coordinating a gay wedding festival, she meets new friends and falls for her assistant.
Tarryn hates the entire concept of a wedding, but the paycheck being assistant to Allie will bring in is too much to pass up. Plus, she loves her small town and would do anything to ensure it thrives. At first, she isn’t sure what to think of Allie, but it isn’t long before she falls for the woman, and it isn’t long before the flirting turns into something more.
Blue is a genius when it comes to creating down-to-earth, sweetly complicated characters and placing them into situations where they thrive together, even if they shouldn’t. Her Aussie towns are authentic, and her humour is spot on. My favourite line in the whole book was the perfectly placed G-Flip quip, which had me in stitches. I Do is the feel-good romance you need to be reading right now. Make sure you check it out.

Once again, a book I completely forgot to review! anyway, from what I remember, I enjoyed the story and characters, the twin swap trope is always very interesting and adds some drama and tension to a story. It's also pretty rare now to see adults in books figuring out their sexuality since it's always YA books that feature coming-out stories, so I was happy to see this here. Now, it wasn't the book of the year but I found it quite entertaining and overall a very nice read in-between huge fantasy books. 3 stars
A very heart warming romance.
I have to admit I was a bit bored the first 25% because it was too much about the "planning" of the festival. But then the relationship between Allie/Sophie and Tarryn slowly blossomed and the story began. The last 25% is really emotional and makes up for the beginning.
All the characters are rich and important. You will want to move to Quandong...what a name for a town.
Lots of color, lots of warmth, lots of love. Good story.

A cool and fun sapphic romcom
When Allie's sister has an accident and can't do her job as an event planner, Allie agrees to pretend to be her for the event. The only problem is that Sophie is a lesbian, and the even is a queer wedding festival, whereas Allie is straight. Once there, she meets Tarryn, her new assistant, who just happens to hate weddings. Neither of them really wants to be here, and yet, they're ready to do anything to make this festival work. Even play a fake couple getting married.
I really enjoyed this story. The twin-swap is a classic, and yet, it still works. But when the "straight" sister has to pretend to be gay...it's even more fun! The premice of the book was very intriguing and original. It was exciting to discover how the two women would possibly make this work even if they have close to no clue as to what they're doing. They were very ressourceful and clever and I liked the team they made. As for the romance, it was an intriguing slow burn that kept me on my toes. The bi awakening was definitely on point and ver relatable. I liked how Allie learned more about herself and her feelings with Tarryn's help and how the two of them made perfect sense even if they shouldn't. It was overall a ver fun and cute sapphic story that brigthened my day.
I recommend if you like sapphic romcoms!
"Maybe I just needed the right person. Maybe I just needed you."
TW: accident
I enjoyed this book by Blue. She rarely disappoints and this one was very entertaining and witty as her books usually are.
Allie Lane is a twin and covering for her sister to promote a gay wedding festival in Quandong, Australia after she's in a car accident. She's straight or so she thinks and she needs a job so she agrees to cover for Sophie.
Tarryn Harris in a sculptor and lives in town and agrees to help with the festival as Allie's assistant.
It was an interesting book and I enjoyed it a lot. I even would like to see more of these characters and the fauz wedding was fantastic.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I've enjoyed other Blue books. I did finish the book and was invested in the character's outcome. But I felt the premise (a 3 day gay wedding convention in a small town?) to be unbelievable. The book was also a bit too long and lagged in the 50-80% mark a bit for me.
I'll continue to read book by Blue, but if this is your first entry maybe start with a different one, like the Girl Meets Girl series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Allie and Sophie are twins. Sophie asks her sister Allie to run her business after she gets hurt. This was a sweet, slow burn romance.

I love a good twin swap. Allie and Sophie are twins and when Sophie gets seriously hurt and cannot run her business, her twin Allie steps in pretending to be her. . It is a lighthearted and enjoyable romcom that ticks all the boxes. I loved all the different side characters to this book.
This book is unlike the fake girlfriend turned real girlfriend books. Allie, an accountant, had agreed to step in for her twin sister, Sophie, who owns an event planning business. There is a gay wedding festival that Sophie is in charge of and is unable to since she was in a devastating accident. Allie agrees to step in for her without telling anyone. There are 2 differences between the sisters. Allie is straight and Sophie is not.
Tarryn has been hired as an assistant for the festival planner. Tarryn hates weddings and is only doing this for the money until her metal art business takes off.
What happens once Allie arrives is hilarity, questioning and the sparks flying between Sophie and Tarryn.
I would recommend.
