Enola Holmes and the Mark of the Mongoose by Nancy Springer
Narrated by Tameryn Payne
Enola Holmes Book 8
I know this is a teen series but I found this to be an interesting story and I am old enough to be the granny of a teen. I especially loved the word play but the story was good also, with some medical history and the use of the famous Dr. Lister as a character.
I love almost all Holmesiana and I find Enola to be a refreshing addition to or variation on the original canon.
Narration was excellent. Since I listened to this yesterday I have gone back to finish three more and starting on a fourth.
I really like this author and plan to read some of her other books.

Fun series continuation
Not my favorite plot, but the sprinkling in of real people and events was cool.
She's working more with Sherlock and I hope they work more closely in the future. She's still chasing after his leads and I would enjoy more growth, but still very fun!

I am a great fan of the Enola Holmes’s movies(cause of Millie Bobby Brown), so when I saw this audiobook, I immediately requested it. I love the portray of Enola, she is one of my favorite literary women. The idea of the book is fantastic, I love books centered around books and writers. This one is not an exception. I don’t read audiobooks to much, but I loved this one. Wonderful read, thrilling, 4 out of 5.

I love how Enola Holmes isn't afraid to march to the beat of her own drum and not conform to society. I could clearly picture all her elaborate dresses and disguises. She is a finder of lost things and people.

Balestier disapears on the streets of London one day and his friend Rudyard Kipling ask Sherlock Holmes for help. Enola determines to find him even if she must work with her brother.

I liked how they mixed in real people into the story and the interesting dynamics of brother and sister working together. It was a fun and quick read that was very entertaining.
