- This was a fast and easy read, no serious topics except for scandals and such, but we are in the early years of the 1800's. Never a dull moment, it didn't drag at all.
- It is quite spicy for my taste, but we all know there are readers that love it. Besides the spice, there was plenty chemistry. I also felt quite a bit of angst, and I loved that.
- Our MC's are in their late 30's and 40, so very mature. Both are widowed and have their own children. I did think the talk of their late spouses was a bit too much and in the most weird occasions. It just felt like they were repeating themselves a lot. I wish we'd had more scenes with our FMC bonding with his daughter.

Tropes:
- Historical romance
- Widowed MC's
- Scared MMC
- Family affected by scandals
- Encounters in a maze
- Matchmaking daughter
- Modern version of 1800's
- Ballroom dancing

Awesome historical romance with plenty of drama, intense chemistry, and strong-willed characters. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to others.
