Very cute book with lots of great recipes! I loved seeing how to bake in a creative way to make something that will stand out but also be delicious! The unicorn cupcakes, campfire cupcakes, Bee Cake Pops and the Rainbow Cheesecake were standouts to me, but everything in this book looks so good!
Tiny Bakes by Jennifer Ziemons is the cutes recipe book. So fun to make these recipes with little kids or just as appetizers.
So clolorful and easy to re creat
This book is SO CUTE! It reminds me of an American Girl book I had back in the day that I was obsessed with. I love the ice cream cone cake pop idea! I think I'll try that one soon. Is it just me or is everything cuter when it's small!?!
This book guides you through everything you need for tiny bakes. Full-color pictures give you the whole beautiful picture of these tiny creations. The author guides you through almost every step in baking AND decorating; I don't always see such good pictures on the decorating steps. The only thing I would have liked is that items that had two pictures that were virtually the same would have had a different that really showed the scale of the size of the treats.
This has got to be the cutest baking book i have ever seen and it was a hit with my son who can't wait to try some out!
Our favourites are the Burger Macarons and the 3 tier celebration cake. They're just lovely!
Such a cute and easy to follow book the instructions are very clear!
With this title, bakers will create the most adorable edibles. There are recipes for cupcake & cake pops, cakes, cookies, pies; and brownies, bars & other sweet treats. There are detailed instruction and photos for each delicious item.
Recommended for bakers who like small and cute desserts.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for this title. All opinions are my own.
Are you looking for a book filled with ideas of tiny desserts? Well look no further.
While to me personally, this looks like something I’d never get around to, this book would be a great resource for that baker who loves to be a little extra. And the recipes look delicious too.
What an adorable book. It contains lots of fun ideas for miniature bakes, including cupcakes, cake pops, cakes, cookies, brownies and more. They're all really well styled in fun ways, lots of the recipes would be perfect for children's party's, but also adult parties, including themed parties, or afternoon tea etc. It's also a fun way to challenge yourself and get some more decorating skills!
I was particularly impressed with the step by step photos. I don't think I've ever seen a cookery book that so comprehensively details every step with photos so that's perfect for someone who is fairly inexperienced with decorating. It really helps to see each stage.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. What a cute little cookbook. The recipes seem very simple and straight forward. I cannot wait to try some of these recipes. These little desserts would be perfect for any occasion and it seem even some would be a great for children to help with.
This book is adorable! I absolutely love the mini cakes and want to make each one of them! They are little works of edible art!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC!
Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group for access to this arc in exchange for my honest review.
What can I say about this book ? Everything is so cute and delicious ! I love that the ingredients were given in grams. The pictures of the tiny cakes and the steps to ensured result were nice. If there were one tiny improvement to be made about the book, would be to give out amount of cakes the ingredients would yield.
I hope that one day I'll be patient enough to try any of these. Maybe I will without those beautiful details.
If you want to impress your friends or guests, this book is for you !
This has to be the cutest recipe book I’ve ever had the joy of reading. How this woman manages to make these bakes so small, and so perfect, is beyond impressive! Each one is utterly adorable, and all achievable at home thanks to her meticulous step by step instructions. It has very clear, simple and easy to follow instructions to help guide you through each bake. I really like that there’s a photo to not only accompany every bake in the book, but also each individual stage of each recipe. Would definitely recommend!
Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group – Harvard Common Press and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.
Tiny Bakes is a beautiful collection of mini recipe treats! There are recipes for cupcakes and cake pops, cakes, cookies, pies, brownies, and other sweets. The pictures in this book are fun and look amazing! There is so much variety in the different recipes here.
I love how the author walks you through all the steps for each of these beautiful creations. Some of these are fairly complicated, but with the directions to follow, it is definitely doable! Most of the recipes are made with things you you already have in your kitchen or can easily buy, which is a huge plus for me! There are a lot of ideas and skills here that are newer to me, but with the time and energy to devote to making these special treats, you will love this book!
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!

This is a perfect book if you want to make perfect, tiny creations – ideal for a tea party, wedding or bridal shower or just a small indulgent treat … mind you, you might want to eat a whole tray of them! If you are hesitant about buying a food-level scale, I got mine on Amazon and I love it, especially when it comes to making sure something that I am mailing isn’t too heavy. (I write to my Brownies' pen pal once a week, STILL --- 48 years and counting…and no we have never met in person. She is from the rare and exotic...Nebraska!)
GBBO’s Kim-Joy would love and approve of this book, too --- it is just darling and if you follow the instructions, you might give her or the author of this book a run for their money!
This book of tiny bakes is so cute. My son and I looked through it and he was so excited. We are going to make the bonfire cupcakes for an incoming outdoor camp out. Such a fun idea. I like that each recipe includes the tools and materials you will need to make the bakes. Definitely recommend this book for fun baking ideas!
They’re obviously all adorable to look at and would be greatly admired at kids parties I’m sure but oh my god some of them are so so so much effort! It would be a shame to allow anyone ever eat them!
