If you were someone that had never gotten into financial literature then this book is just the one you want. A great introduction that offers some brilliant tips in money management. But, for someone that has read a few books on finance before it all just felt repetitive. The same advice, the same lessons, and the same book repackaged. So overall, it was alright.
Unfortunately, I am currently have an issue with a couple of books that I have downloaded from NetGalley. Haven’t crossed over to my kindle so unfortunately I haven’t got a copy of this book to read or review so unfortunately I cannot leave a review for this book as I don’t have a copy, and it’s outside of the download threshold but I would say from the synopsis on the title that this would’ve been a really good book and I potentially will be picking us up in future when I have time outside of my arc list
This book covers the basics of the basics. Definitely not for someone who has any introduction to financial literacy or money management. If you have no idea what to do with and how to approach your finances so as not to blow them and your whole financial situation up - this is the book to take you through the foundation you need.
If you are looking into borrowing money, here you can find really nicely curated rules and pieces of advice on debt and repayment of debts.
Bergen Brown Jr, has a particular style of writing. Made me feel like he wasn't to be my friend and mentor at the same time. He doesn't use big, posh words, and he is clear and simple in his explanations, yet pretty far from having artistic language, but for readers who are far from that themselves, it will be fine.
Rating: maybe 4 stars overall for beginners, but, for me personally, it's 3 stars, as I found nothing new here, although the book is not bad.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
