This is the inaugural addition of the Isele magazine A magazine for African voices from different genres. In this magazine I was certain I was going to love most of it but never did I imagine myself loving all of it my favorite was a poem whose name I do not know because there was no table of contents but it is written by Muyera Sokoo end it is a very introspective song about having stars on our hands from all the responsibility and scars in our eyes from all the injustice and I know I am doing a bad job at paraphrasing it and I so wish I knew the name of it but it was so good in touch to me and it is a poem I will not forget they also had my favorite story which was about a woman who they thought was a witch or accused of being a witch and she was falling in love… Are you doing a horrible job at reviewing this book just know it is packed full of stories from fiction to poetry to even fun sci-fi and much more I loved it and after reading it I even went and bought a book from the publisher called the emperor son which I cannot wait to read that as well I love finding new authors new publishers in this book served about those purposes including entertaining me entirely. I want to think the publisher and NetGalley for my free arc copy please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.
