This was a fun holiday book that definitely scratches that Christmas itch around winter time! The story was cute and is a good addition for holiday romances

This was a really enjoyable Christmas story to read. I really enjoyed the first book in this series. This was a good continuation. I’ll always read Lucy Score books. She never fails me to entertain and I love a good Christmas romance

This was absolutely adorable! I loved the banter between all the characters—well, except for one. There was one character I found super annoying, but thankfully, their role was minor, so it didn’t bother me too much.

This felt like a classic Hallmark Christmas movie… but with smut. 😂

I really enjoyed it! The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it was pretty predictable and didn’t have any major surprises. But overall, it was a fun, lighthearted, and uplifting holiday read!

“The Christmas Fix” by Lucy Score is a charming holiday read with a lot of heart. The festive setting and lovable characters make it a cozy choice for the season. While the story is enjoyable, some parts felt a bit slow and predictable. However, the sweet romance and holiday spirit still shine through. If you’re looking for a light and heartwarming Christmas story, this book is worth a try!

This was a great holiday read packed with everything you want in an escape! Ms. Score is very versatile and I appreciate that about her. I have definitely passed this recommendation along.

I started this book last winter, set it down, and didn’t pick it back up again until earlier this month. I’m definitely in the minority on this one, but unfortunately it wasn’t for me. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope because I love the witty banter and character development, but I just didn’t get that with this book. Cat and Noah’s “enemies” relationship felt too forced. I really struggled to get through this book. It was too long and full of a lot of unnecessary filler. On a more positive note, as a huge fan of home renovation shows, I did enjoy the premise. And, of course, I loved all the Christmas vibes. If you are a fan of Christmas novels and spicy books, then you’ll definitely like this one.

This was such a cute story. I loved being back with these characters in this adorable Christmas loving town. I really liked how hard they fell for each other and how they just full on gave up trying to fight it. I love how feisty Cat is and how she just says whatever is on her mind. The romance in this was so cute and I just couldn't put it down.

Lucy Score books are an automatic buy for me. I love her style of writing. The Christmas Fix is such a good book. The H and h will make you laugh. Light hearted read for the holidays.

This book was okay but I felt like it was too much of the show and the plans for renovations. I wanted more of the romance build up and relationship growth.

A few years after Mr Fixer Upper, Cat King is back with her own show. The town of Merry has been devastated by a flood, just weeks before their annual holiday festival. Without that income the town will struggle even more to recover from the damage. Enter Cat, who has been in Merry for her renovation show, and wants to bring her crew back for a holiday special like no other. But Noah, aka Mr No town manager, has his reservations. He doesn’t want his town to be taken advantage of, and have a diva tv star prancing around. But if anyone can prove him wrong, it’s Cat.

I really didn’t like how Noah had so many preconceived notions about Cat. If he had done even a little bit of research he might have seen that she was a lot more than the ditzy tv star he took her for.

I liked seeing the return of Gannon and Paige from Mr Fixer Upper, but this one frustrated me a little more.

The premise for a cute holiday story: a natural disaster puts the town of Merry at risk of not having its Christmas Festival this year. When home renovation expert and reality tv star Catalina King finds out, her team steps in to put the town back together for a holiday special. However, her actions face the ire of single dad and city manager Noah Yates, who doesn’t want his daughter to be wooed by “tv glam”. They’re instant enemies prone to big, public fights and yet in no time, that fire brings them to the bedroom instead of the boxing ring.
Apparently I’m in the minority because this was almost a DNF for me. The romance felt forced and abrupt and other than “Merry” this didn’t give off holiday vibes at all. There was entirely too much sex (whole chapters in a row is a bit much) and that added to the abruptness of them going from hate to immediately hooking up in an alley. It didn’t feel natural or appealing. There was also no real explanation as to why Cat was so drawn to this town in the first place (beyond the renovation).

Sure did read this not knowing it was part of a series. And that is ok cause I didn't feel like I was missing back story or anything!

Lucy Score is an auto read author for me!

Oh my goodness! I love Lucy Score almost as much as I love Christmas and enemies to lovers! This literally combined some of my favorite things. Single dad Noah is a grump who wants zero help from Cat, the spunky bombshell until he does.

A cute holiday read that has all of the markings of a Hallmark movie! A single gal, a single guy....Christmas....a bit predictable but a sweet story none the less!

Simple enough holiday read. If you are looking for something to put you in the holiday spirit, this could help. It just didn't do it for me. I wanted to love it, but I didn't.

City Manager Noah does not want the help of home renovation network and reality tv star Catalina King to repair the destruction of the hurricane that has recently upended the town. But with the Christmas holiday looming and the incentive of repairs being completed by the holiday season, Noah begrudgingly agrees for Catalina and her team to film the repairs for their renovation show. As Noah learns there is much more to Catalina the he assumed, she sees what a wonderful single father Noah is for his daughter. The Christmas holiday brings not only the two but the town together as well.

Definitely a feel-good holiday romance!

It’s never too early for a Christmas themed book especially if it’s set in a small town called Merry! The beginning started slow but eventually the pace picked up and it grew on me. It was giving cozy, rom-com, Christmas hallmark movie vibes with a bit of pumpkin spice.

Merry, Connecticut was hit by a disastrous hurricane that left the town in shambles. Noah wasn’t sure if he could revive the town in time for their yearly Christmas festivities. Cat King reality tv star of a popular home renovation show pops in to bring the town hope and pull off a Christmas miracle. But Noah wasn’t for all the cameras and extra mess Cat would bring to his town. The only thing he was concerned with was Cat not capitalizing off the town’s tragedy.

This turned out to be a really cute book, the dialogue was authentic, and filled with well-developed characters. Noah’s character gave off a grumpy grinch vibe in the beginning and he gave so much pushback to anything Cat wanted to do for the town. All the while everything she did was truly out of the kindness of her own heart and pockets.

The chemistry between them was palpable and the sex was tasteful but got a tad bit raunchy. It wasn’t the intense make out session in the alley that almost got them caught red handed that was raunchy. But when they finally had sex and Cat became a nasty girl lol. It went from come on me to come inside me I need to feel you in me to have a deeper connection. Like ma’am the meat can’t be that good you don’t really know this man but I wasn’t surprised that Noah was ready to risk it all. When his ex-wife popped up with their daughter right in the middle of him and Cat going at it was hilarious.

Overall, the author perfectly intertwined romance, humor, and finding strength in community with the perfect holiday atmosphere. So, if you’re looking for a fun small-town holiday read filled with the right amount of drama, emotion, spice, and heartwarming feels you found it.

This read like a hallmark movie.

Fun times all around and more enjoyable for me than some previous Lucy score books i've read.

This title is a bit more lighthearted than previous works I've read by this author. I appreciated the witty banter and will put the reader in the holiday spirit. If you need an escape that has more of an edge than a hallmark binge, I'd recommend this book.
