Love love loved this book! With this being the second in the series I truly loved seeing cats character and the appearances from Gannon! I wasn’t sure if dig the Christmas vibes but it was done perfectly!

Really enjoyed reading this super cute holiday romance. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score is a delightful holiday read that flawlessly blends the magic of Christmas with a captivating enemies-to-lovers romance. The festive setting added an enchanting backdrop to the characters' journey, making it a perfect seasonal escape.

This was such a fun holiday read that could be read any time of the year. It tops the charts when it comes to enemies-to-lovers and is full of small-town charm reminiscent of a Hallmark movie town. When a hurricane hits Merry, Connecticut a few months before Christmas, home renovation reality star Catalina is set to return to the town she previously filmed in to help. Too bad the VERY grumpy town manager and single dad, Noah wants nothing to do with her. Noah (aka Mr. No) is against everything he *thinks* Cat stands for. Their dislike puts them up against each other at every turn, but Cat isn’t someone to back down and soon their animosity turns into attraction.
The romance was a slow burn, yes it does have spice. I loved the banter, witty humor, and BIG swoony moments. It’s full of endearing characters, yes, even Noah who pushes the limits on rudeness and misconceptions. I loved the people and the huge sense of community. I found myself smiling and laughing…a lot.

The Christmas Fix is basically a Hallmark Christmas movie in book format, and was perfect for this time of year! A grumpy, small town, city manager faces off with a strong willed, “high maintenance”, reality TV star from the city. After disaster hits Merry, CT and threatens their annual Christmas festival, they need to work together despite their differences to make the festival become a reality. Some parts were a bit cheesy, but that’s what we want and expect for a holiday rom com!

This was my first Lucy Score book and it was a fun, sexy holiday story!
Cat King is not only a reality TV star but she is a contractor by trade. So when a severe storm washes through a small town called Merry (adorable, I know) she convinces the network to allow her to save this town in time for Christmas. The only real person she has to try hard to convince is Noah, the town manager.
Noah has lived in Merry his whole life and this town gave him a lot when he had nothing. Every year they put together a huge Christmas festival which brings in lots of revenue for the town. With the flooding this year it doesn’t look like it will be very Merry in Merry unless he allows the gorgeous Cat King and her camera crew to take over their town.
I’m pretty sure Cat is a blond bombshell but when she was working construction or designing something or working on production all I could picture was Joanna Gaines.

Too holiday, DNF. I haven’t read Lucy Score’s other books, but this one was more holiday than I thought it would be. Probably not the right target audience for this one…

The formatting is unfortunately broken in the kindle version. I was unable to read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC.

Enemies to lovers holiday book I am here for it!! The tragedy and community coming together was so heartwarming. This book is just so sweet and steamy. Perfect holiday read!

Cat King goes back to the small town of Merry to help rebuild the town after a hurricane takes out a lot of the town. The only thing standing in her way is Noah Yates, the grumpy town manager. Noah thinks that Cat is there to profit off the town, but in reality, she is really there to help. It doesn’t help that his daughter is obsessed with Cat or that she is extremely attractive. Will she be able to work with Noah to rebuild the town or will the Christmas holiday be sad for everyone.
Loved this story and the tidbits of Christmas we got without it being full on cheesy Christmas. Noah’s daughter was a cute addition and I like how there was careful consideration about the potential relationship without just jumping into one.

The Christmas Fix was a fun holiday read. Cat and Noah are likeable characters. Cat is a reality TV star on a home renovation network. When a town where she fixed a house has a terrible flood she hopes to make the town her next project. She wants to do a Christmas special and get the town back on it's feet before Christmas. The only thing standing in her way is the town's manager Noah. Noah is convinced that Cat just wants the publicity and doesn't truly care about the town. Both characters have strong personalities and eventually find themselves understanding each other better and falling for each other.

Super cute HGTV meets Christmas Hallmark read. Grumpy meets Sunshine. Strong female character. Lovable male character.

I originally read this about a year ago but after the book was rereleased I decided to give it a read again. Tropes include:
-Christmas
-enemies to lovers
-small town
-hallmark movie vibes
Catalina is a host of a makeover show. She wants to host a show in Merry, Con. Merry gets hit with a hurricane. Noah, the town representative wants nothing to do with Cat or her show in Merry. Miraculously Cat convinces Noah to let her help Merry. Help not only him rebuild but other residents of the town and to host her show and to give the town a great holiday festival. Another great book from Lucy

Massive thanks to NetGalley & Bloom Publishing for the gifted copy, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.

This is book #2 in the Fixer series, but this is the first book I’ve read & it can easily be read as a standalone .
As someone that’s read at least 10 Lucy Score books, I shouldn’t be surprised by my absolute love for this book, but she absolutely did it again!
She perfectly combines the beauty pf small towns, the unwavering love of families, can’t-look-away romances with heat & heart along with enough feels & holiday cheer to generate all the lights at a Christmas parade.
The Christmas Fix is perfect for fans of…

The reality tv show coming in to help rebuild the town after a terrifying & heartbreaking hurricane disaster had my immediate attention. This was something I’ve never read before & it completely tugged on my heartstrings. I found the behind the scenes of the reality TV aspects fascinating. I also am a total fan of the single dad & thought his daughter was such a great character.
This is a story that had me a full range of emotions from terrifying fear to giggles to swooning & I enjoyed every minute of it.

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book. I absolutely loved it, It's a light, christmasy read that will leave you feeling good.

The Christmas Fix is book two in the Fixer Series, and takes place in Merry, Connecticut. A late season hurricane hits Merry right before it's biggest holiday season, and city manager, Noah Yates, must inform his residents that there will be no Christmas Festival this year. This also means there will be no tourist dollars.
Cat King, reality star on a home renovation show, comes back to town after she hears this devastating news. She had previously been to Merry to remodel a home and shows back up with a camera crew and a budget big enough to put the town back together in time for the Christmas Festival. Noah wants no part of her plan, but she can't wait to prove him wrong.
Once again, Lucy Score has made me fall in love with her characters and storyline. This is the perfect Christmas read. I can't wait to dive into more books written by Lucy.

I really wanted to like this book. I have tried reading other books by this author and did not really like them. I was hoping that this one would be different. But it was just a super generic Christmas romance story. I feel like if I like this author I would have liked this book more. But this one was just not for me.

I typically rate Lucy Score books 4 or 5 stars and while I did enjoy this one, it wasn't as good as I've come to expect. The story telling was slightly abrupt in how it transitioned from scene to scene. The characters were good, though it would have been nice for Cat to have a few more flaws - she is practically worshipped for the most part of the book.

Merry, Connecticut recently flooded, and Cat would like to make sure they have a very Merry Christmas indeed. She has a remodeling television show, and the only thing standing in her way, is a he, Noah, the town Mayor. He takes his responsibility very seriously and after the hurricane left their town in pieces, he scrambling. As much as he wants to say yes to the smokin hot Cat, he doesn’t want his town to look like they're capitalizing on devastation on national television. Will his way end up being more than he originally thought?
This is such a heartwarming story! Lucy Score is such a reliable author for small-town feel-good romances, and this one is no different, with this one being set at Christmas. I always love how small towns come together in times of need, and that is the case here. Human kindness is always at the heart of the story. While all of these stories are very familiar, the finer details are all unique to each story. I enjoyed that this one focused on a single dad, that is always something nice to always seen portrayed in books, especially when they are done well. I do always grapple a little with the length of Ms. Score’s books, and I will say this is the shortest I’ve read, but it still did feel that it dragged a little in the middle. Cas was a wonderful character and I enjoyed getting to know her. I enjoyed that she was a female in a traditional male role, I love the representation and how she was still very feminine! It was great.

I loved this book! Cat is perfectly-imperfect and Noah is one of the best book men I have had the pleasure of reading about in a long time. While this is technically the second of a series, you could easily read this as a stand alone for the holidays.
