With this being only the second book I’ve read from Lauren Asher, I don’t know if her writing is different in this book from her other books but I found it to be choppy. Scenes would end abruptly and there were several small scenes in one chapter that just left me struggling to follow the flow.
My biggest issue was the female character in this book. I was absolutely sympathetic to her struggles with infertility and trust, she had every right to struggle because of these things. However, she used these struggles as excuses to be rude and childish towards Julian, when he was doing everything to show her how he felt. While he was overly childish at times also, the patience this man had for this woman was abundant. If someone told me they loved me, and then said they regretted to say that not a few minutes later for no logical reason, consider me done with you.
I enjoy how attentive Julian was, and I did enjoy seeing Dahlia find herself in the end, and their story was cute, but I spent much more time frustrated then I did happy.
Thank you NetGalley and SourceBooks Bloom Books for this arc!
4.5/5 stars!
This was such a funny, relatable, heartwarming, and emotional read. Lauren Asher is here to get you right in the feels again! I ate this up and want more please 🥹
Love Redesigned is a great introduction to Asher’s new series . Julian and Dahlia are childhood friends who go from rivals to lovers. Asher does a great job building an emotional love story built on second chances and childhood rivalry. The side characters shine bright, and it was exciting to see callbacks from Lauren’s other series. As amazing as the romance is, a lot of this book is focused on Dahlia and Julian’s journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Dahlia is dealing with anxiety and depression after a bad break-up along with finding out some life-changing news. Dahlia tries to push herself and make sure she is doing everything she can to improve her mental health. I found Dahlia’s character to be inspiring and her struggles to be realistic. Meanwhile, Julian buries himself in his job to avoid dealing with the loss of his father. Julian knows he has made some bad choices and Dahlia pushes him to confront his past.
When you add in the pranks, their meddling families, and plenty of witty banter, this book is a perfect start to a new series, and I can’t wait to read the next one.
I absolutely loved this one. I’m a Lauren asher stan first and human second. Ugh this one hit all the feels and was such a great read, I was so into it I read it in a day🫣 ALSO THE CANE BROTHER CAMEOS I DIED OMG!!! I absolutely love julian and dahlia, they’re so cute and had me kicking my feet and giggling. there banter was also everything. julian 🧎, the men lauren writes >>>. absolutely adored this book and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Lauren Asher does it again! This book has all of the heart of her past books and I just loved these characters. I loved this start to the series and can’t wait for the next!
My favourite Lauren Asher book yet!! Everything about this was so well done from the characters, to the story to the chemistry! This was the billionaire trope done so well and the rivals to lovers was chefs kiss! Lauren had me giggling and swooning over Julian and Dahlia! For a single second I never wanted to put this down and absolutely devoured every moment!
Highly recommend!
If you love billionaires and second chances then you won't want to miss this new series from Lauren Asher. Trust, betrayal, mental health, childhood friends, and so much shenanigans.
In a world where Julian can have anything he desires the one thing he craves he lost years ago. What will happen when he discovers his childhood crush has returned home?
Dahlia has returned home to escape the media and figure out her next step. Can she survive opening up her heart again?
What will happen when the pranks put them in danger of risking their rekindling? Will it tear two families apart again or finally bring them closer?
A slow burn that just scorches with a solid plot arc that delves into the characters in the most delicious way. While there is mention of interconnected characters from the Dreamland Billionaires this can be read as a standalone. Now I plan to dive into that series!
I can't wait to read the next installment!
I think I have realized that Lauren Asher is just a not-for-me author. This book fell flat from the jump and I couldn't bring myself to read more than 25%. It felt like every other Lauren Asher book I've read. I fully understand why she is popular with readers, and know that this will be enjoyed by many, but just not for me.
I didn't feel the chemistry from the jump... I've heard great things but this one wasn't really doing it for me, I didn't particularly like either character.
This is such a cute and delightful romance. I love Julian and Dahlia and how they come together despite all their head-butting and differences! The banter was top tier and it was just a fun romance from beginning to end. Can’t wait for Lorenzo!!!
4.75🌟 i absolutely adored this book! julian would quite literally do anything for dahlia and i'm not exaggerating. the small town setting, coupled with their history together made for a romance where the characters were able to grow together and be around each other in such an organic way. their families were so much fun too and i can't wait to see more of them as we go through the series!
I was not previously a huge Lauren Asher fan having only previously read one of her books and not loving it or choosing to continue on in the series, but something compelled me to give this a try and my goodness am I glad I did. This was excellent, swoony, witty and just a delight to read. It felt much more composed than the other Asher book I read and it has made me so excited for her continued work.
Thank you Bloom books and Netgalley for the e-book arc in exchange for my honest review.
I loved the Dreamland Billionaires series by Lauren Asher so I was really excited when she announced this book. There is some cross over with Final Offer and Terms & Conditions but it’s very minor. You can definitely read this without reading Dreamland.
Like many if Lauren’s books this was a steamy read with a very sweet ending. I found the last half of the book to be the best. And I really enjoyed the tight knit family group in this book. Some of my favourite family members aren’t related to me by blood so I liked that Lauren had that as part of the book.
That said; the first half was hard to read because the characters were so immature and obnoxious. I couldn’t believe they were in their late 20s. And I love reading about diverse characters and cultures however I do not speak Spanish. I would have appreciated if the Spanish had a translation included. I kept having to look up quotes in Google translate to understand what was said and that really effected my enjoyment of the book.
All in all, not bad but not my favourite Lauren Asher book.
Another enjoyable read by Lauren! I've really enjoyed all of her series and how they all interconnect with each other. This one is super super sweet, but also incredibly spicy. The characters are enjoyable and I loved the small town aspect!
This book made me giggle, LOL, and “awwww”! Prepare to SWOON with Julian Lopez on LOVE REDESIGNED by Lauren Asher! And also prepare to call in sick to work because you will want to binge this.
"I will always fight for what's in our best interest, even if it means fighting you in the process."
Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher is a steamy, heartwarming small town romance about two family friends turned childhood rivals.
He buys her a lakefront mansion so she can fix it and says,
"I don't want you to be bored here."
"Why?"
"Because I want to give you a hundred different reasons to stay."
Julian is EVERYTHING!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
– Second Chance Romance
– Billionaire Romance
– Small Town Romance
– Hate to Love Romance
– Only One Bed
– He Falls First (and hard!)
THIS WAS PHENOMENAL. I loved every part of Lauren's writing in this. I couldn't put the book down and this is my favorite of hers so far.
4.5 Stars rounded up!
Julian and Dahlia had me kicking my lil feet all day! I am a sucker for rivals to lovers, especially when they continue to challenge each other outside of a growing romance. And the slow burn tension? Screaming.
I loved getting to revisit some of my favorite characters from the Dreamland series, and even hope for connection to F1 which I think most of us can say Lauren Asher herself is the reason we started watching. Overall, I am super excited to see how this series grows (and maybe even hope for a trip to Dreamland!)
A read for fans of an enemies to lovers and second chance romance trope. This book has small touches of Lauren Asher’s other books, specifically the Kane Brothers (Dreamland Series). This is a spicy romance that is filled with hilarious banter. There will surely be more books to follow as many beloved characters were developed throughout this read. A bit sappy, and slightly cringy when it came to the sharing of feelings but overall a romance pick that will have you hooked. Adored the Spanish mixed throughout the book, it was seamless and a great touch!

I am a huge fan of Lauren Asher, and have read her previous published series. So, I was very excited to read this story! One of my favourite tropes is enemies to lovers, and this story does not disappoint. I love the chemistry between the characters, and the dynamics we see between all the characters. I personally am not a big fan of the millionaire/billionaire trope, however I still enjoyed the story.
t’s official Julian Lopez won the top of the list of Lauren Asher men.
I think I might die if I don’t get a man like him.
