This was a heartfelt enemies to lovers, dual POV, workplace romance that sees two former rivals teaming up to help renovate a house and double their profits. I really enjoyed the emotional depth in this story. Dahlia is dealing with news of her infertility and struggling with depression. The more she works with Julian though the more she can't resist his charms. A steamy slow burn that is perfect for fans of authors like Meghan Quinn or Helen Hunting. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!
This was a really good read if you like Lauren Asher's style of writing romances, and I loved the small cameos that characters from her past series made in this book. Some of the language and phrases used made me cringe, especially the more possessive ones that Julian used, but overall I thought the dynamic between Julian and Dahlia was really well developed, and I liked the way that they helped each other get over their past traumas and heal while being surrounded by their large and loving families. The cast of side characters was very well-rounded and interesting, and I can't wait to read Asher's next book in this series purely to spend more time with them.
Dahlia + Julian are everything🫠. So swoony and cute I love them so much. I was so sad to say goodbye to the dreamland billionaires but Lauren DELIVERED on the start of this new series and I cannot wait for what’s to come. I love the town, the side characters and Dahlia + Julian have my heart. Did I read this in one sitting because I couldn’t get enough? Yes I did. The tension, the steam, the chemistry was PHENOMENAL. Ugh I really just want to experience them all over again.
This is the first book I've read of Lauren Asher and a great one to begin with. I adore the characters instantly as I started reading. The story itself is lovely, a love that melts. The second chance romance really brings out the hopeful love in us. I enjoyed reading this and would definitely continue to read more.
i think this is lauren's best romance book she's written.
read if you like:
rivals/hate to love
second chance
one bed
she gets hurt, he takes care of her
banter
billionaire mmc (also very successful fmc)
childhood friends/frenemies
forced proximity
A great new series and beginning for Lauren Asher. What has always drawn me to her books is how loveable the characters are and the world she creates. We already got a slice of this in the Third Billionaire's book, but it was truly great to meet Dahlia and Julian and spend time in Lake Wisteria.
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
4.5 out of 5 stars!
Small towns and meddling mamas. A recipe for a good time and great entertainment. From the moment Julian and Dahlia run into each other again, the sparks flew. Didn't matter that if looks could unalive, both would be incinerated. Was their downfall really just about betrayal or was there something more? No matter. Their meddling mamas ensure Dahlia and Julian get many opportunities to run into each other. Time and distance did nothing to dull the connection they had to each other. The characters were relatable and personable. The banter was excellent. The set up of this new series was on point. Can't wait to see what happens next!
I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
Lauren Asher never disappoints! I loved the Dirty Air series and the Dreamland Billionaires series, so Love Redesigned was such an anticipated release of mine and it gave me everything I wanted and more!
I love how every Lauren Asher book has not only a compelling love story that readers can’t help but root for but characters with so much depth to them. Dahila and Julian were so relatable in their portrayal of mental health. Topics like grief and depression were written with so much care and it was what really made this book stand out to me. I loved the character development and the beautiful love story between these two characters so much.
If you want a small-town romance with childhood rivals to lovers, a strong family dynamic, and amazing character growth, you need to read this book!
4.5/5 stars!
Lauren Asher continues to wow fans of modern day romance in the start of her new series with Love Redesigned. I read this within two days because I could not put it down. Since Asher's beginnings as a self-published author, you can clearly see her own development in her writing, her characters, and her plot lines. While still having those addicting spicy romance scenes, Asher focuses on her main character's development within themselves as well as part of their family and town. Cannot wait to see what more Asher has in store for us, I am a true fan and will continue to support her efforts in not only mixing the modern type of romance with sophisticated plot line, but also providing voices for all.
I absolutely love this book and the author never disappoints! The main characters were written beautifully and I can’t wait for the series to continue!
Lauren Asher does it again. A steamy second chance with a little enemies to lovers (in my opinion) was such a good combination. I loved the new "universe" that is being created in Lake Wisteria, and Julian and Dahlia were such a great couple to start of this series. Their families were precious and the love they had for one another in palpable. I also loved the little crossovers and cameos of a couple of my favorite Dreamland billionaires. I am excited to see where this series goes.
4.5 ⭐️
I really loved this one and I can’t wait for the rest of the series! This was actually my first book by Lauren Asher and I have to say I loved it and will definitely be going back and reading her other books. While this book isn’t connected to the Dreamland billionaire series, the characters from those books did show up a few times, but I never read those ones and it didn’t impact the story. There were so many cute grand gestures and acts of love in this story that literally had me screaming and kicking my feet because of how cute they were. Julian sure knows the way into a girls heart. There were a few parts of the story that seemed just a little long, but I still loved it so much and actually read it a lot faster than I thought I would with how many pages it is. I would definitely recommend this book. I can’t wait for the next one and I am sooo excited that it’s Rafa’s story it’s gonna be so good!

"Love Redesigned" by Lauren Asher is a delightful small-town romance featuring Julian and Dahlia. Set in a charming lakeside town, the story unfolds as a second-chance romance with childhood rivals discovering love. Julian's unwavering commitment and thoughtful gestures add heart to the narrative, while Dahlia's resilience in the face of challenges brings depth. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, and Asher's writing effortlessly captures the charm of the small town. Overall, it's a heartwarming read with genuine moments of laughter, making it a highly enjoyable addition to the romance genre.
The book hooked me from the very beginning. I found myself going through so many emotions. Laughing, crying ... I went through all the feels. Overall this was an enjoyable read.

I actually liked this more than I thought I would. Definitely an easy, spicy romance that you can just mindlessly read.
Despite that, this only gets two stars from me because there was just too much dialog, not enough editing and it went on for much longer than it should have. A little more than halfway through I kinda wanted to quit but stuck with it for a bit longer. Then I just got tired of Julian and Dahlia’s back and forth.
I liked their story and chemistry- I’m a sucker for second chance childhood romances- but again, it just went on longer than it should have.
I would still pick up and try to read Lauren Asher’s because I liked enough of it, but hope they all aren’t drawn out unnecessarily. I may even finish this one at a later date, but I need to read something different before I finish this off.
Ten years ago, Julian sent his childhood rival, Dahlia, out of his life and into the arms of his roommate, Oliver. Regret turned to hate as he forced himself to get her out of his mind and they both moved on to create home design empires in their careers. But now, she’s back in their small town picking up the pieces of her now shattered life. At his mom's request, Julian convinces her to stick around and help him remodel her dream house in town. A lifetime of competition, friendship, and hurt dictate their every move as they struggle to establish a new place in each other’s lives and build trust as adults.
Ms. Asher. How dare you make me feel this way! I knew when I saw she was releasing this one that it would be great and I was not mistaken one bit!
Love Redesigned was the first book I read by Lauren Asher and has solidified her as one of my favorite authors.
The rivalry part of rivals to lovers is top tier and I will never get over all the banter, tension, and chemistry that comes with this trope. Lauren Asher wrote it perfectly. The dramatic and messy history that comes with childhood friends or second chance romance is what I live for. I love finding out what happened between the couple and how they are going to overcome it!
Dahlia is going through a super hard time and comes home to try to cope and get through it. I just wanted to give her the biggest hug and tell her everything will be okay. I loved her personality and the snark she gave Julian.
Julian very well might be a top tier book boyfriend my god. He is a catch and everyone’s dream man. He is a sexy billionaire but still has strong family values, doesn’t let the wealth get to his head, and would rather spend money on others than himself. But he still has his flaws and knows how to be vulnerable. He’s strong, proud, and stubborn, but also isn’t afraid to admit when he was wrong. The way he fights for her and their relationship is SWOON WORTHY. It also helps that he was a filthy mouth and knows how to use it.
The spice MY GOD. I needed a bucket of ice water dumped on me to cool down.
The dynamic between the Muñoz and Lopez families was a delight and I loved how close they were. They are so tight knit and just care so deeply about each other and their well being. It made me so happy. They also play hilarious pranks on one another which had me cackling.
Slight spoiler: He buys a 10 million dollar house for her to mess with her ex PURE GOLD.
This is a MUST read romance book and is a new comfort read for me.
Things to expect:

Family friends-turned-childhood rivals
