Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for a ARC of Love Redesigned!

I had a lot of fun reading this! I love a good childhood friends/rivals romance. I can't put my finger on it exactly why, but for me this is probably 3.5 stars. It took awhile for things to get rolling. But it was great once we got there. I really appreciated the communication of Dahlia and Lucian towards the end. And I liked that there was no third act breakup. I'm knit picky about a few things, but overall I had a great time reading this.

I loved this book! It was the first book I've read by Lauren Asher and it won't be my last!

Julian and Dahlia have known each other and battled with each other forever, their mother's are best friends. They have not spent time together since Julian dropped out of college after his father's death and Dahlia stayed in California to create a design business complete with a tv show and an engagement to Julian's former roommate. When Dahlia returns home struggling with depression after her engagement ends Julian tries to avoid her but the mother's are not having it. Julian has no choice but to agree to a project with her and hopes it speeds her departure. Instead it ends up forcing them to spend time together and deal with their fears and insecurities and grief. But after all that has gone before will they be able to trust themselves and each other?

It includes real life challenges with life and grief and mental health which I like because it makes it more real. It also is a bit spicy so don't read this if you don't want spice. All in all I really enjoyed it and can't wait to return to Lake Wisteria.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 stars

Love Redesigned is the swoonworthy second chance/childhood rivals to lovers romance. When Dahlia returns to Lake Wisteria after a heartbreak and career setback, the last person she wants to see is Julian. Julian, her childhood rival and the man who broke her heart in college. When the two are forced together to renovate a house, sparks begin to fly once again.

I absolutely loved this book. The banter was perfection. The chemistry was scorching. The small town vibes were immaculate. I was rooting for Julian and Dahlia to figure out their issues and fall back in love. The home renovations were an excellent bonus.

ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story! It's my favorite Lauren Asher to date.

There were parts that felt a little to drawn out, but once the wheels get traction, this was full steam ahead to the HEA.

I loved the rich cast of side characters and the warmth of family just overwhelmed this book. I loved getting to know them.

This book is full of mutual pining, coming to accept yourself and admitting your true feelings. Not just about love but about what you truly want.

We explored grief, depression, and infertility but they never felt too heavy. They added to the depth and realness of the story.

Julian was a grumpy man of few words whose hiding some deep feelings. Watching what he does about it was a sight to behold. When he gets a second shot with Dahlia after so many years of no hope... he will pull out all the stops.

I really recommend this Romance!

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it and how she wrote the characters. It was a great pallette cleanser book when you’re needing a good book to binge read!

This is the first book in a spin off of the Dreamland Billionaire Series and it’s set in a small town with Dahlia and Julian who are childhood rivals. I definitely loved the banter between the 2 characters and I actually giggled in parts because of the pranks they played on each other.

You’ll like this book if you like these tropes:
Childhood rivals
Second chance romance
Billionaire romance
Forced proximity (loved this part of the book)
Home renovation
Childhood dreams coming true

“I’m not done with you."

I think this might be my favorite Lauren Asher book to date, and that’s saying a lot since I’m obsessed with Formula One and her Dirty Air F1 series.

Dhalia and Julian grew up as childhood rivals — with their mothers being best friends — but just when they got to a point where their relationship might change to something more romantic, tragedy struck and that possibility disappeared.

fast forward almost a decade (in which they haven’t had anything to do with one another), and they find themselves back together in their small hometown. Dhalia has come back to reset after a terrible break up and losing her home design tv show. Julian is now a billionaire after developing a profitable app with his cousin and expanding his family construction company into successful luxury business. neither wants anything to do with the other. but with the help of some meddlesome mothers, these two find themselves partnering on some home renovations, and their old attraction quickly reignites. unsurprisingly, it doesn’t take long for these friends-with-benefits to realize they are developing some very real feelings. Dhalia doesn’t trust herself for anything more than a casual physical relationship regardless of her feelings, and she doesn’t trust Julian not to break her heart again. but Julian is determined not to let the girl of his dreams get away again.

when Dhalia gets an offer to star in a new show in San Francisco, can these two learn from their past mistakes and trust each other enough to build a future together?

filled with heaps of comedic relief, Love Redesigned examines grief and anxiety in a raw way while showing it’s possible to move forward with love and trust.

Dhalia is a relatable boss woman that I’d die to be best friends with, and Julian is a swoony, rough-around-the-edges family man. put them together, and you’ve got this riot of a good time! I’m already dying for the next book!

This book was everything! I've been waiting for this for so long and I'm so excited I got the chance to read it early! This author has been a favorite of mine since I first read the fine print by her. Every single one of her books has been between a 4-5 star read for me and Love Redesigned is no different. Julian and Dahlia were the most perfect way to kick off this new billionaire romance series! This author's writing flows so seamlessly that you don’t even feel like you’re reading. I felt like I could picture the scenes and hear them out loud in my head. This book made me cry so many times (in the best way) and had me laughing and smiling to myself. I love the way this author interconnects her characters and series and lines up the next books in her series. I’m so excited for the next book in the series!

4.25 ⭑

This was super cute! Julian was a man obsessed with his woman, and I was LIVING for it! He may think he’s protected by his stony exterior, but it is clear that Dahlia was his kryptonite. All of the things he did out of his love and appreciation for her—all the while she believed he hated her—were so precious.

The banter in this book was SO good. I think the rivals to lovers and (kinda) unrequited love made for good tension, quick wit, and moments of comedic relief throughout some of the book’s heaviness.

Honestly, this could have stood to be longer, in my opinion. I felt like the beginning of Julian and Dahlia’s intimate relationship felt kind of random. Yes, we had build up with the forced proximity, but I didn’t feel like the story was at that point when it happened. I feel like more of a slow burn would have been better!

As always, Lauren did a fantastic job of incorporating heavier topics into a sweet romance story.

I can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of this series!

Lauren Asher could write a grocery list and I would throw my money at her. The start of a new series is just what the girlies needed and this did not disappoint. A flawless read for me. Can't wait for the world to fall in love.

Prefacing this with, I love Lauren Asher. However, this one didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I couldn’t relate to the characters and they felt immature.

Thank you for the eARC in exchange for an honest review

This was a great read overall! Fans will definitely feel comfortable reading it, as it feels very much like her other books stylistically. If you like childhood friends to lovers trope then this is the book for you. Easy to fly through and be lost in the book.

As always, Lauren Asher creates magic with her every word, weaving a story that is entirely character-driven, and then glued together by her inimitable quirky wit and swoon worthy romance. I couldn’t put this down.

Lauren Asher is becoming a must-read author. Dreamland billionaires was an amazing series, and it was nice to dive back into that world in this spin-off. Love Redesigned introduces Dahlia and Julian as childhood friends that drifted apart. Dahlia comes home after a breakup, and as she’s dealing with the news that she is unable to have children of her own. Julian buys Dahlia’s dream house for them to renovate and design, and as they spend more time together, they begin to grow closer again. Seeing Dahlia begin to open up again, as both she and Julian work through their grief was what made this book. The real descriptions of grief, depression, the openness of both, helps the reader understand where these characters are in their life. The little nods to the dreamland billionaire cast, as well as the background cast of this novel, has me very excited to see this series continue.

Truthfully, I really enjoyed it. I thought the banter was great, I loved the setting and the cameos of our dreamland billionaire baddies. Their individual struggles and growth were very visible. both still grieving from the loss of their fathers, and also Dahlia dealing with depression.

Julian. I absolutely loved his character. He was grumpy, witty, sexy, funny but still showed his love quietly for her—even when he "hated" her. His personal growth (i.e going into his dads workshop, downsizing his work load) was lovely to watch. He was so sweet and kind to Dahlia (when he wanted to be, of course).

Dahlia. Still reeling from a tumultuous, public breakup, she's back to her home town to regain herself and put the pieces back together. While I truly understood why she would have been depressed, I felt that the portrayal of her depression was solely researched for her part and it didn't feel genuine or experienced. It felt like it was being written for a part/character. Which is totally fine, but it lacked the depth that I would have preferred when an author decides to deal with a topic like that. For a few chapters at the beginning she spoke about taking her antidepressants and being in "a deep, dark hole" and then once it picks up with her and julian, it's nearly nonexistent.

For majority of the book I felt it was a 5-star read and may have even been my favorite book, despite the little flaws that are honestly not as bad as they could be. Still, it also felt like they went in circles—Dahlia specifically—and the whole prank wars thing was a little juvenile for my taste. And then they get arrested for it to last all of half a page? It was just weird. Also, for 60% of the book they are avoiding each other and being their usual asshole selves, then get together quick one chapter and agree to do casual. But then their casual was just them building up an actual romantic relationship. the whole time, I'm expecting a horrible third act breakup. which I should be glad never came? But I was also underwhelmed by the time I read "the end". I felt the pacing could have been a little better.

Im anticipating the 2nd book to be Rafa following his little nanny around the world and Im super stoked about that one!

I finished this book in one sitting!!! Lauren Asher has a talent when it comes to crafting magnificent characters that are not only relatable, but also grip you by the heart and refuse to let go till the very end. Not to mention that the setting of the story is pretty unique in itself and definitely feels easy enough for one to immerse themselves in. So yeah, this was a very fun, steamy, and quick read. I would very much recommend this book to anyone looking for a read to get them back in the romance mood!

I LOVED the Dreamland Billionaires trilogy, so I was ecstatic to get this one.

I stopped at 25%, where Julian drops Dahlia’s phone in the sink accidentally and she takes his out of his pocket and throws it in the sink for revenge. Throughout the book, I’d been feeling like Dahlia was selfish and not super great, but I was writing it off as part of her depression from her engagement breaking apart and her show getting cancelled. This scene just hit the nail on the head for me that she’s not someone I care about, she’s actually kind of an jerk, and she’s not someone I want to spend any more time with personally.

Fans will definitely feel comfortable reading it, as it feels very much like her other books stylistically. Easy three to four stars, likely a five for the diehard fans.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC.

This book was so cute and fun! Like every other Lauren Asher book I read, it was easy to follow along with and the plot was really enjoyable. Lauren does a fantastic job at story telling and having sweet romances that the reader can't help but love.

This was a book that I flew threw and really enjoyed for its plot and premise. Can't wait to read more of this series! The trope of childhood lovers had me hooked and really loving this new Lauren billionaire book!

I received a free ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review…. Oh my god this book was FANTASTIC, and my new favorite Lauren Asher book. I will be screaming about this book until y’all get it into your hands, and long after💜

Julian really pulled at my heart strings this entire book, and made me tear up towards the end. This man is EVERYTHING to me. He is my new favorite billionaire boyfriend. As we got into the characters and everything he has done and continues to do for Dahlia… I couldn’t help but melting for him🥺🫶🏼

Dahlia touched a part of my soul and made me feel so seen as an anxious girly myself. I resonated with her on so many levels that I instantly felt so connected to her. Dahlia is one of those MFCs that is so relatable that you can see so many parts of yourself in her, and can’t help but fall in love with her and her healing journey. 💜

A new comfort read🥰

five stars! five stars! five stars!!!!
previous statement i made: never have i ever cried while reading a lauren asher book …( lauren asher has officially been added to the list of authors that have made me cry.)

i didn’t think i could love a billionaire romance more than i loved ‘the final offer’, but i was wrong. ‘love, redesigned’ has won best billionaire book of all time for sure.

i was giggling, crying, laughing out loud and asking myself “is there a couple out there more perfect than julian and dahlia?”… and the answer is no. there isn’t my friend. this is and they are the epitome of true love.

if you’re a fan of:
- childhood rivals, to college friends to rivals to strangers to enemies to lovers (but he could never hate her because he’s been in love with her for forever)
- i love you so much that i’m going to give this guy who’s worked for me for one day a promotion so i never have to see him flirting with you again
- that one scene in the ‘hating game’ where josh templeman paints his bedroom walls the colour of lucy’s eyes, only multiply it by 1000 and you will only have a fraction of how obsessed julian is with dahlia.
- the tension and anger between princess mia and nicholas in princess diaries 2… kitchen scene is screaming palace fountain!!! you know the one
- home reno’s!!!
then you need to drop what you’re doing right now and pre-order this book.

it’s actually so unfair that i have to wait for it to come out to lose my mind with my fellow book lovers over this series. but it will be well worth the wait

Thank you so, so, so much to NetGalley and Bloom Books for this ARC. I've said it once I'll say it again - I do not know how I am so lucky to keep getting ARCs of my most anticipated reads of the year but I am so grateful.

Lauren Asher is magic in my eyes. She truly could write anything and I would fall in love with it, simple as that. The Dreamland Billionaires series is one of my favorite series of all time and I was so sad to see it end, but the promise of this series made it a little easier to say goodbye. And boy do I feel this series taking up the space in my heart that the Kane Brothers left behind.

She has a way of immediately grabbing me with her main characters, and she did it again here. I was immediately so invested in Julian and Dahlia's relationship. I wanted to see them become friends again, I wanted to see them work through their issues and come together. And I was kickin' my feet when it happened. I always love two characters who've lost themselves along the way and find their way back in each other, and Asher does it so well with these two. I understood how they got to where they were, and I understood how they found their way back.

This book is mostly just fun. It has great character development and some wonderful moments of dealing with grief and recovering from trauma. But for the most part it's just a really fun time with hesitant lovers, meddling family, and delightful banter. I absolutely recommend picking it up if you need something fun that'll make you feel a little bit. Also if you love and miss the Kane Brothers as much as I do because some of those boys have cameos and, not gonna lie, I cried a bit just seeing them exist.

I absolutely cannot wait for the rest of this series. Hoping and praying right now that the last book is about the rival developer. I am desperate to know his story. AND the next book shaping up to be grumpy single dad/nanny? Let's GO.
