Cute, quick, & mild spice.
Thank you Net Galley & to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Paige works production for the Kings, a brother/sister construction duo, on their home renovation show. Gannon King is the grumpy heartthrob, and Paige is the sunshine that everyone on set loves working with. But when Gannon decides he wants something, he doesn’t give up. And he’s decided he wants Paige.
I liked the premise of these characters, and the show they were making. There was a mixture of the relationships that were building, while also trying to show more meaning with the good they were doing for their work.
What brought this rating down a little was Gannon’s pushy demeanor. Paige told him no a lot, and obviously the point of this book is the romance, but the fact that he wouldn’t take no for an answer so many times got kind of annoying, like he wasn’t really respecting what she was saying. There were probably ways he could’ve won her over in the same way without being quite so pushy.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom for an advanced copy of this book.
I got this book free from NetGalley. I usually love Lucy Score, but this book was just okay. The MMC is not super likable, there's great groveling from him but overall, he wasn't great. I wish the FMC had pushed more and stood up for herself a bit more in the storyline. It has some predictable tropes, but what romance doesn't? I liked this book just wouldn't reread.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others. Super fun read.
Get ready to swoon, because "Mr. Fixer Upper" by Lucy Score is the ultimate heart-melter! This delightful romance perfectly blends humor, charm, and undeniable chemistry. Our hero, Gannon King, is the rugged, irresistibly handsome contractor every woman dreams of, and when he meets Paige, the fiery PR whiz with a heart of gold, sparks fly.

Score's writing is enchanting, capturing the playful banter and deep emotional connection between the characters. Gannon's tough exterior hides a tender heart, and Paige's fierce independence is both inspiring and relatable. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of love and life with a mix of steamy encounters and heartfelt moments that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
"Mr. Fixer Upper" is a perfect escape into a world where love conquers all, and every page will make your heart flutter. Lucy Score has crafted a romance that is as sweet as it is spicy, making it an absolute must-read for anyone looking to be swept off their feet.
“Mr. Fixer Upper" is an enemies-to-lovers romance with a compelling mix of humor, steamy moments, and deeper themes. Gannon and Paige’s dynamic sets up a story filled with both tension and attraction. The exploration of gender inequality in the TV industry adds depth to the narrative, making this journey entertaining but also thought-provoking. Fans of romantic fiction are likely to enjoy the sparks flying between these two characters and the emotional satisfaction of their evolving relationship.
Who doesn't love Lucy Score! Automatica add to cart author. This book did not disappoint. Loved the h and H.
Eh. It was cute, but I wouldn't read it again. I liked the spice, and found that I sided with Gannon on nearly EVERY single issue. Paige had some unexplained and unexplored issues with relationships that it's sort of hinted are due to her bitchy mother, but we don't get much beyond that.
The spice was great, we stan a man who likes to praise.
Paige 100% ruined this novel for me, and did not deserve Gannon in the slightest. I understand some hesitation but sweet Jesus fuck, Paige. Pull your shit together.
This copy was kindly given to me for review by the publisher and Netgalley. All opinions are my own
I read this duology out of order but this was my favorite of the two. Things i loved about this book: Gannon's grumpiness, Paige’s growth, Nonni (duh), the HGTV feel of it all, the groveling, the confession of love 😭 Lucy Score is quickly becoming a new favorite author
He started to work the laces of his boots loose. Toeing them off, he tugged his t-shirt over his head.
“Oh my God. What are you doing?” Paige’s voice barely rose above the spray from the showerhead.
“I’m washing your damn hair.”
It’s a constant battle on set between sexy home renovation reality star grumpy Gannon and his no-nonsense field producer. Paige has zero time for temperamental talent, especially one who acts like being in front of the camera is the last thing he wants.
Mr. Sex in a Toolbelt has made it his mission in life to get a rise out of her, but Paige is a master at locking down her temper. They’re on the road together working long hours fixing houses and changing lives. When cracks in her legendary coolness start to show and sparks fly, Gannon is infatuated and the cameras are there to capture it.
But he’s fallen for pretty packages before and Paige won’t be taken seriously if she’s caught sleeping with the star of her show. She also can’t seem to resist those big, rough hands. Those smoldery hazel eyes. The dimples. The toolbelt. That fiercely protective vibe.
Too bad it’s all about to fall apart.
She never should have trusted him.
He never should have let her go.
I have always enjoyed home renovation shows all the way back to watching Extreme Makeover: home Edition as a child, so this story was right up my alley. I loved the elements of the home renovations from a tv show standpoint paired with the real lives of the people in the show and those who help make the show. I wish we had gotten to see more of Gannon and Paige’s relationship prior to this season of the show, but overall, I really enjoyed their story!
This was super cute! Mr. Fixer Upper is full of heartfelt emotion, steamy spice and of course - a swoony romance!

Thank you so much Bloom Books for the gifted copy!
Lucy does it again. Once again obsessed. My wallet is damaged. And I will forever be biting at the bit waiting for the next book
Lucy Score is always a fabulous read and MR. FIXER UPPER is no exception! A great story with likeable characters and a fun, funny plot.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the opportunity to read and review MR. FIXER UPPER.
I love this author so much! Think Lucy Score meets HGTV, and you have this book. Gannon is a star TV host (with his sister) and Paige is his nemesis and opposite to a certain extent - he’s passionate and she’s more reserved, which of course drives him crazy. Paige is a producer, and naturally he falls for her first. I loved this and The Christmas Fix (Cat’s book), especially the way Lucy Score always creates Alpha heroes who aren’t problematic. Even how this highlights how hard it is for women in TV- this was such an honest and joyful story. Workplace romance, perfect spice and an ending I read twice because I loved it so much? This is everything! I highly recommend.
I really enjoyed this book. It was different than anything else I've read recently. I couldn't put it down! I will keep an eye out for this author's future work!
Anything Lucy Score writes I will read.
This was had renovating houses and witty banter, so obviously I'm in love with this book. It had me laughing and awe-ing the whole time. Lucy's wit and charm shines through the entire book and will make the reader feel like they are there. Paige and Gannon are the ultimate power couple with their wit, their banter, their sexual tension, and their tempers. I would reread this again and again!
This is my first Lucy Score novel outside of the Knockemout series and I really enjoyed it. I can only imagine how hard the reality television home remodeling industry is for women and I loved the tenacity of Paige! Her and Gannon's chemistry was off the charts in the best way. Who doesn't love a grumpy, protective MMC? I also just found the setting for the book really interesting. I don't watch a lot of those types of shows but was really impressed with how detailed the events and supporting characters were. A great read!
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
