I love this book! I am an arc reader, but I will leave an honest review. As with all the green creek series, this book is from a different pair of eyes. The first was Ox, the second was Gordo, and this is from Robbie’s point of view. We got to know Robbie a little in the past book and I wasn’t sure how I felt about him. I got some home wrecker vibes, but I liked how he seemed to try to always do the right thing. This book was amazing! Just like the others, it left in a cliff hanger! I can’t wait to dive into the next book! The audible versions are outstanding! I felt like TJ Klune’s writing gets better and better as these books continue. The first was a three star for me but the second and third are definite five stars. I rank it five stars because it makes me feel something. I’m moved, there’s loss, heartbreak, love, friendship, fighting, and most importantly pack. The bonds between family are stronger than ever. I was excited to find out who the mystery wolf was and it left my jaw on the floor! Heart pounding battles and several “hold your breath moments.” I laughed and I cried. I felt the roller coaster ride of Heartsong and I encourage people to give this series a shot. I love how each book is from a different POV. It keeps it fun and makes you fall in love with several characters. Werewolves and witches. I live in Oregon, so the fact that the setting is mostly in Oregon makes me happy. Brilliant!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance reader's copy of the book. This book, it broke me. It had me in tears, had me rooting for the wolves, had me all over the place. I loved the first book, liked the second book, but this one, this one is my favorite of the series. TJ Klune is an amazing author, and this world he's built of wolves, witches, and humans is one of the most beautiful and engaging that I have ever read in a book. I will be recommending this to everyone and I truly cannot wait to see how this wraps up in the fourth book.
🐺💚 Heartsong ARC Review 💚🐺
Thank you so much to TJ Klune, Tor Books @torbooks and netGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!!
Heartsong is a paranormal fantasy romance and book three in the Green Creek series. Robbie is the second to the Alpha of all. When he starts having dreams that he can’t explain, can Robbie unravel the mystery of what’s happening to him??
This entire series has such a chokehold on me! Robbie was such an engaging character and I adored this story. I loved the mental health and Ace Rep in this book. This book continued the plot line established in prior books, so it was super plot heavy, but didn’t feel tedious
Overall another 5 star read! I love this series and can’t wait to see where it goes in the future! This book did have a romantic subplot, but they had a lot to work through and was definitely a slow burn, so overall two flames for spice
If you’re a fan of unique werewolf lore, strong characters and beautiful world building, then absolutely pick up this series! There is an overarching storyline, so I highly recommend reading Wolfsong and Ravensong first if you’re new to the series!
Please Note: review will be posted on Amazon upon publication
I was Provided an E-Arc of Heartsong by Tor publishing and Net Galley.
I am in love with this series! It is one of my favorites. This one is just as good as the last. It starts off a little confusing and you seem lost just as you learn Robbie is at the compound and doesn't seem to know about the Bennets. You go on a journey with Robbie as he learns the truth and realize that Gordo's father has taken control over the compound and the pack. The story of getting back to Ox and the rest and the battle against the darkest of the witches and his dark magic. It will make you feel so much more for Robbie and Kelly and their relationship that will bring you to tears! I can not wait to read the final book in the series! This will be one that I will for sure buy when its released!
Woooooooof I love this series and I maybe love this book most of all?? In WOLFSONG, we were introduced to the Bennett werewolf pack and to Ox, a boy who needed the family the Bennetts provided more than anything. Ox and Joe Bennett forged an incredible bond, and they weathered joy and tragedy together. In RAVENSONG, we got to dig deeper into the story of the Bennett pack's witch, Gordo Livingstone, and the deep betrayal he experienced when he was left behind by the Bennetts years ago. As the pack slowly repairs itself, we meet sweet sweet Robbie Fontaine who just wants a place to belong. HEARTSONG is Robbie's story. Robbie was sent to the Bennetts by the Alpha of All to report back on how the pack was doing in the absence of their alpha, but as Robbie got to know the pack, he began to believe that he had finally found his home. In HEARTSONG, everything we thought we understood about Robbie is turned on its head. HEARTSONG will truly just take your heart and beat it up over and over again, but the payoff is worth it. Ughh I want to reread this book again and again!!
5⭐️
I was hooked. I could not put it down. I started this at the gym while on the elliptical and I went for an hour without even realizing it. 🙈
I could not put this book down. I was clutching my kindle reading this while doing my post workout stretches.
This one has no 🌶️ but that’s okay.
I need the next book.
Thank you NetGalley and Tor for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Heartsong by TJ Klune is a wild ride in the Green Creek Series! Robbie's on a quest for his place in the pack after his mom's passing. From pack bouncer to a trusted friend, he's in for a ride in Caswell, Maine.
The plot thickens with traitorous wolves, wild magic, and Robbie questioning it all. Who's the real deal, and is Kelly Bennett his mate or not?
Pack dynamics, friendship, and a touch of fantasy make Heartsong a page-turner. Klune's storytelling is on point. If you're into fantasy and romance, this one's a winner!
This entire series has been like finding the best tv show that I can't stop binge-watching. Each character is so real, and TJ tells their stories in a way that just pulls you in.
The first 25% of the book had me scratching my head. I kept asking myself, "Wait, when is all of this happening?" But now, looking back, it totally fits into the whole storyline. It's one of those "aha" moments where the confusion makes the plot even more intriguing.
Now, with only one book left, I'm low-key not ready for it to end. It's like saying goodbye to friends. This series seriously needs more hype – it's so good. I stumbled upon it without much expectation, and now I can't believe it's not getting more love. The Green Creek series is hidden treasure.
This book had me believing I was crazy there for a minute, but as always, trust in Book Daddy. Heartsong is one of my favorites in the Green Creek series, as Robbie and Kelly might be my favorite pack couple.
This story is more heavy on character development than advancing the overall story arc, but I'm okay with that. I'd be happy with anything written about the Bennets.

TJ Klune has never let me down and I don't think he ever will! This series has been such a comfort, found family series for me and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!
Thank you for approving me for the title. Unfortunately I just could not get in to this read and that is completely okay. I know others will LOVE this book. It just wasn’t meant for me :)
"Heartsong" by TJ Klune is a captivating exploration of identity, belonging, and the complexities of love within the vibrant world of wolves and magic. Robbie Fontaine, a character driven by the yearning for a place to belong, takes center stage in this emotionally charged tale.
Robbie's journey unfolds after receiving a summons to the wolf stronghold in Caswell, Maine, a pivotal moment that marks a shift in his transient existence. As the trusted second to Michelle Hughes, the Alpha of all, and a cherished friend to a wise witch, Robbie discovers the true meaning of pack and the sense of home he has always sought.
However, when a mission thrusts Robbie into the field, the narrative takes unexpected turns, challenging his beliefs and forcing him to confront questions about loyalty, betrayal, and his own identity. The whispers of traitorous wolves and wild magic add layers of mystery to the plot, leaving readers on the edge of their seats.
Amidst the intrigue, Robbie's search for answers becomes a central theme, particularly concerning Kelly Bennett, the wolf who may be his mate. TJ Klune skillfully weaves together the threads of romance, mystery, and self-discovery, creating a narrative that keeps readers hooked until the very end.
"Heartsong" is not only a tale of supernatural intrigue but also a deeply emotional exploration of the complexities of relationships. TJ Klune's writing is poignant and evocative, drawing readers into the richly detailed world of Caswell and its inhabitants. The story masterfully balances moments of heartwarming camaraderie with intense and suspenseful revelations.
As the truth unfolds, "Heartsong" delivers a powerful impact, causing a ripple effect that shakes the foundation of Robbie's world. TJ Klune has crafted a compelling narrative that combines elements of fantasy and romance, leaving readers eagerly anticipating each revelation and savoring the emotional depth of the characters' journeys. "Heartsong" is a resonant melody that lingers in the hearts of its readers long after the final page.
I received a copy of this as an e-book for the purposes of an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I gave this book 3 stars but it’s closer to 3.5.
T.J. Klunes writing lives up to the hype. He writes like an artist writes a song. Emotional and passionate. It just wasn’t my favorite song.
Full disclosure, I didn’t read Wolfsong or Ravensong so maybe that’s why I didn’t feel a connection to any of the characters so I promise to rectify that soon. Be that as it may, I’m still going to treat this as a standalone.
The writing was great, but the pacing was slow and the stakes weren’t very high. Our main baddie felt lukewarm and shallow. It would have been nice to see more depth to him and the Alpha of all, because they seemed…meh.
I will say that these covers are absolutely gorgeous though.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tor publishers for providing me this opportunity.
This series has quickly become my favorite series of all time, and Klune has become an instant buy author. Heartsong follows Robbie and his journey after being taken from the Bennett pack and is journey back to himself and Kelly. My favorite thing about this series is that each story has different MCs but continues to progress the story. I also enjoyed the ACE representation with Kelly, something I didn’t see coming from this story but thought was a touching addition. The set up for book 4 has me on the edge of my seat and I cannot wait to get my hands on it
Perfect. But that should surprise no one. TJ Klune continues to hit it out of the park with his novels, especially with his Wolf Boys. I'm a sucker for some Klune--I am not even necessarily a werewolf/shifter fan, but here we are. It's great. I knew it would be. I love thee boys and I love this series.
I loved this book! I devoured it in only a few sittings and wish there was more to read. The story line was paced very well and the characters were easy to love!
So excited to read the next book from TJ Klune. They are one of the sweetest humans on the planet and truly cares about their readers. IM SO EXITED FOR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT FROM THIS AUTHOR
I did not finish this book. Not because it wasn't good. But, because I realize I had not read the first one in the series. I do enjoy T.J. Klune's writing. Once I read the fist in the series, I'll finish reading this one.
Thanks to Netgalley and Tor Publishing Group for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I don’t know how I’ve managed this, but this is the first story I’ve read by TJ Klune and it didn’t disappoint. It’s also the first book I’ve read of this series and you can bet your ass that as soon as I’m done with this review, I’m off to find the rest of the titles in the Green Creek series and binge read the hell out of them. What is sleep, anyhow?
I love ensemble casts in movies and shows, and this story doesn’t disappoint. Full of humor, loss, anguish and deep love, it kept me hooked and telling myself that I’d tackle chores after one more chapter…which turned into many chapters and no completed chores.
If you’re into amazing world building, ensemble casts of characters, wolf shifters and magic, this is the story for you.
This was maybe my favorite of the series so far. I liked how there was an element of dramatic irony from reading the first two books, but that still left so much to puzzle out.
