After a harrowing near death experience, Nora and her partner Dex relocate to the countryside to find peace and a second chance at life. As they start to build their home on their new lot and prepare to start a family, unsettling things start to happen around them, revealing that their seemingly perfect Lot 16 has a sinister past.
As Nora is drawn into discovering the dark truth of what happened on their lot and solve a mystery that had long been dormant, she finds herself facing the unknown and challenging her perspective of reality and the supernatural.
The story moves at a slow pace, which I normally find hard to get through but felt that it really worked for the slowly creeping, haunting nature of the story. The story feels tame initially, then becomes increasingly unsettling. I was quickly attached to the unfolding mystery, the eerie setting, and Nora’s search for what really happened on Lot 16 all those years ago.
I thought this book was decent. I wanted to see more character development and a less predictable plot though
While slow going in the beginning, it picked up about midway and I couldn’t put it down. This book made me feel scared, anxious, and sad. I was in tears at some points. I didn’t love the useless online articles, but the journal entries I devoured! I wish there had been more!! Such a tragic story.
Thank you so much Independent Book Publishers Association, Julia Ash, and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and honestly review this book
I really wanted to enjoy this one; I love a good spooky thriller but this one was hard to finish & not very atmospheric either. I was really looking forward to the plot line but I felt let down by it. Some may enjoy this but it wasn’t for me.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this eARC

In conclusion, "Find Them" is a standout novel that marks Julia Ash as a formidable voice in ghost fiction. It is a story that lingers, like the echo of a distant whisper, long after the final page is turned. A must-read for anyone who delights in a well-crafted, spine-chilling thriller.
This has a great premise, and a love a good spooky story. However I found it somewhat lacking and hard going in places., though I did finish it.
This was a heart-racing thriller that had we wanting to know what was going to happen in the end! Some books don't know how to add that great supernatural aspects, but Julia does a great job with her descriptions of ghosts! I am always looking for a great supernatural story, and this one did a great job.
Fast paced and spooky, this is a story that will keep the reader turning pages. The writing is atmospheric and haunting.
Many thanks to the author and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
I really wanted to love this book. I think it could have done so much better, but tt just seemed to drag on. The plot and the spooky scenes kept my interest, but it was very predictable. Some scenes were way too descriptive or repetitive, and an unnecessary subplot.
Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of Find Them by Julia Ash in exchange for an honest review. This was a deliciously spooky book that was a fun read. I always love finding new authors and new writing styles. I've already looked for more books by Julia Ash.
The book was not for me, I enjoyed the writing, and i had such high hopes, but it kind of fell flat for me unfor.
A very haunting a gripping book. The atmosphere was great.
A chilling story to creep anyone out while reading during the night!!!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
A good supernatural thriller here. A little bit of ghosts and mystery and thriller together.
Great atmosphere.
This book was enjoyable enough but the writing style and premise just didn’t do it for me.
I’m glad I was able to read this one but I found I wasn’t able to truly appreciate it as I wasn’t the target audience and found myself skim reading, so I don’t feel I’m able to make an honest review.
I hope this book finds its target audience!
I didn't make it very far into this book. I started and the writing wasn't for me. The whole beginning with being pushing in front of a train should have been exciting, or tense, or something and instead it just felt off. And the way Nora and Dex talked about it afterward, how she hated that she "allowed myself to become a victim", how cities are scary must move to the country and buy some guns! Reminded me of Republican propaganda. Like the cities are burning!! Buy a guy to keep yourself safe in the country! Be afraid of everything! But I was trying to just not care and see where the story went, but I officially opted out when Nora had to stop and charge her Tesla. Because no. I can't. This story is not for me so I decided to move on.
Ooooo this book was so eerie!
Find Them follows Nora Davis who tries to build her forever home on Lot 16. Unfortunately for Nora, there’s a ghost on the premises that needs her to solve a crime.
I really loved the setting imagery in this book. It set such a spooky mood for the story and was really enjoyable to read. I’m a sucker for past POVs told through diaries so I really enjoyed that. I loved the way the two stories blended together.
It was overall, a haunting, atmospheric story and I’ll definitely be looking for more books by Julia Ash!
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley!
I really enjoyed this great book on a house with a mystery. I always love a good haunted house novel and this one was an excellent read. The descriptions of what happened in the house would have had me running away as fast as my legs could carry me. If you like the paranormal, then give this book a go.
Not my usual genre with some supernatural elements but I did appreciate that it was well written and I liked the mystery aspect of it. A woman gets pushed off a train track in DC, her and her husband decide they need to move somewhere safer. They buy land in PA and discover there are strange things happening. The wife is determined who had the land before and what happened on it.
I love the world of the supernatural and this book is just what I needed! The book is filled with ghosts, action, thrills, and suspense. There is nothing about it that I didn't love, so let's crack into it!
When the book began, we learn about Nora and Dex. They make the choice to move to a very rural area to escape the city. They feel like this will be a great, new start for them. Little did they know what would happen. At first, the farm seems like the perfect home for them. Nora begins to have some incidents that freak her out a little bit. At first, they start small, but as their time at the farm goes on, the incidents get worse. Even Dex, who never thought he would believe in the supernatural, finds himself worried about what is happening in their home.
What these two didn't know when they moved in was that there have been a lot of terrible things happening here. Nora hears strange noises, there are sinkholes that come out of nowhere, and the feeling that she gets in the house is unlike any other. This is not what she signed up for and these two have to get to the bottom of what happened here.
They decide to learn more about the history of the home and it turns out that the land wasn't supposed to be sold. There is one spirit, Isabelle, who has been haunting the property and won't stop. All of these incidents have put Nora in a hard place, but she is determined to find out who else is haunting her home.
Nora begins to face these spirits head on and her strength and courage in the book are just fantastic! This book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end and I would suggest that anyone who loves the supernatural should give it a go! This book has everything that you need from thrills to mysteries and suspense. You will not regret grabbing it!
This is a wonderful thriller story. There are so many elements in this book. Nora and Dex leave their big city life after a frightening event to a home in a peaceful land only to realize later that the land is haunted by ghosts.
I would like to thank the author for the ARC.
