I really enjoyed this sweet story. Two teenagers meet on spring break in Mexico and have this connection that is unforgettable but decide to leave it up to the universe if they will meet again. They find each other years later and discover they have been so close all this time, but both are in relationships. I loved the angst that the author bult in this story and that they ultimately found their HEA. The only thing I wished were a little different is that Jessica would've compromised a little more. After getting to live her dream for a couple of years, I felt that Jack would've had his opportunity in the NHL. However, with that being said it was a delightful story.

This book was SO CUTE!!! I haven’t read any of the other books from this series, but I will be after reading this.

Jack and Jessica meet on spring break their senior year of high school while on vacation in Mexico. They have this whirlwind romance that lasts 4 days and then they go their separate ways.. They make a deal on their last night in Mexico that should fate bring them back together again, they would give their relationship a real shot.

Fast forward 3.5 years and Jack and Jessica run into each other. On the Michigan State University campus. Where they’ve both been attending for the last 3 years. It seems like fate wasn’t done with the 2 of them just yet!

When both Jack and Jessica end up single on NYE, Jack drives 3 hours to get to her because he’s not losing his chance again. This moment was so sweet for me because it shows how much he cares about her even though they were apart for so long🥹

While they may be finally back together, there are many obstacles these 2 face in their final semester at Michigan State. Will Jack play professional hockey in the states?! Will Jessica leave the country to teach english?! So many things were up in the air and the way these 2 pushed through everything was just perfect. I love how they can joke with each other about everything and they learn to communicate so well.

This book was more than I hoped it would be and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

I love this series so much. Everything Amanda writes makes me so happy. This book was no different! Jack and Jessica are everything to me. They MIGHT have to fight Lexie and Mitch for the top spot??? I love a second chance with a dual timeline!! It was so sweet. I loved this sunshine/sunshine couple SO MUCH.

I loved the connection Jack and Jessica formed in such a short amount of time. They knew it was right, they knew they changed once they met, they KNEW. And even though they parted ways, even though Jack didn’t want it to be the end, Jess knew it was the right choice. And they never stopped thinking about each other!!!! The bracelet 🥹 the lotion 🥹 the way he immediately called her sunshine again 🥹

I loved the communication between the two of them. They weren’t messing around this time around and I LOVED it. I loved the low angst, no third act breakup. Even though Jess was worried about how it was going to work, they both had such big aspirations that were bound to take them in different directions. Jack made sure she knew everything was going to be okay because there’s way he’d lose her again. He loved her so much 🥹

I LOVED seeing everyone again. I love every single one of the characters in this little found family!! As always special shout out to Lexie and Mitch because they’re my FAVORITE. And also to Berk and Brent for being the cutest married couple ever!

"Yesterday, today, tomorrow, always and forever."

I really adored this book! Amanda Chaperon is amazing and she gave us such beautiful story of Jack and Jessica. You won't want to put it down.

Jack and Jess meet in Cancun while on vacation and hit it off practically from the very beginning. For the remainder of the vacation they decide to spend all their time together, getting to know each other and having fun.
In order to focus on their future, their goals and their future plans, they decide to keep the relationship in Mexico and let each other go. They will keep all the beautiful memories they've made with each other during these few days, and if by any chance they were meant to be, the future will find its way to bring them back together.

What they didn't expect nor dream about was finding each other at Michigan State. And all would've been perfect and romantic if not the fact that Jessica is and has been in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, and Jack started seeing someone he cares about deeply quite recently. Not the "future will find its way to bring them back together" they expected, huh? 🥺

Their story was so cute. You can definitely feel their chemistry from the first pages, their connection is so evident, they cannot keep their hands off each other. I enjoyed so much being part of their present journey, which of course made me nervous at times as I really wanted them to be happy and be together. It was great to be there with them and watching them dealing with whatever life was throwing at them in their own way. I, of course, was very much rooting for Jack and Jess since the beginning.

A Heart Worth Finding is a fun and quick read, a bit emotional at times but it's actually something I honestly enjoy in a book. In its very special way, this book will make you believe in faith and destiny and "meant-to-be".

Read this book if you love:
☀️ dual timelines
☀️ dual POV
☀️ second chance romance
☀️ right person, wrong time
☀️ no third act break-up
☀️ great side characters

Thank you so much NetGalley, Victory Editing and Amanda Chaperon for the ARC of this book! 💖

A Heart Worth Finding by Amanda Chaperon

The two main characters’ chemistry is undeniable, and seeing things from both perspectives really makes this book more fleshed out. Jack is the male protagonist who is written in a very attractive manner; combined with the friends/family he and Jess spend their time with, really sells the relationships between all the characters. The slow burn to the book, intermixed with all the spice really sets up the belief in soul mates, and didn’t feel overblown. Every character feels real and authentic; this kind of storytelling makes me want to read the rest of the series. Overall it was a cute, yet quick read and I had a lot of fun with it.

If you love these tropes this book is definitely for you.

Hockey romance
Always been you
Wrong time right person
Second chance romance
Dual pov and dual timelines
Cute tattoo
Fun banter

This is my first Amanda Chaperon read and I had such a great time. I might read the rest of the series to learn more about the characters mentioned in this one. There's definitely some strong found family vibes so I'd like to see how it all came together in the previous books.

Jack and Jess meet for the first time while on vacation in Mexico during their senior year of high school. They instantly hit it off, and spend all of their time together for the remainder of the trip. Their connection is undeniable and all-consuming. They agree to keep their relationship in Mexico, leaving it all behind when they part ways as they're preparing for college and pursuing their individual dreams. Three years later, they meet again, unaware of the fact that they've been studying at the same campus the whole time - and they're both in relationships. The two are forced to face their feelings as they navigate planning their lives to achieve their goals and go after their dream careers.

I'm a huge fan of dual timeline, second chance romances and this was done well! Initially, I was hesitant about the whole insta-lovey kind of trope, seeing as Jack and Jessica met on vacation - but then I remembered they're only 18 when it happens, and that made things more realistic for me. Jack is super sweet, he's incredibly attentive to Jess's wants and needs and will do absolutely everything he can to support her and make sure she's happy. Jess is such a headstrong character, she goes after what she wants and she'll do anything to achieve her goals. They're both emotionally mature and continuously honest with each other about what's going on in their lives professionally and with their feelings, which was really refreshing to read!

Overall this was a fun, light read. I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much to NetGalley and Amanda Chaperon for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This was a quick, cute, romance novel. I feel like I haven’t read many romance books where the love interests meet on vacation & are then reunited years later - I definitely appreciated that aspect. This book definitely reads more like a YA novel where some of the story seems unrealistic at times but overall, this is a super cute, light hearted & fun read!

This book took me a while to finish. I really liked the chapters that were set in the past. I also really enjoyed the chapters set in the present up until about half way through the book, it got a little too much for me to keep readings. It seemed a little repetitive.

Hockey romances are one of my favorite things to read, and this one fit the bill. I really like Jack and Jessica's story. There's a whirlwind vacation romance, a second chance, good friendships, the MCs are in college, and the "it's always been you" trope. Amanda's books always leave me feeling cozy. Review on Goodreads is linked!

An amazing book . The writer is new to me but I loved her writing . I am going to be reaing all her books .
Jessica and Hack when they were 17 met at Cancun while they were in vacation . It lasted only a wekk but it was enough for them to fall in love but they never given each others surnames so they couldn't find online where they are after they return to their lives . Now at 21 at their last year of college they meet and discover that they attend the same college . But they are both in relationships . When they finally are single at the same time at the New Years Eve they don't lose time to be together . They are the perfect couple , soulmates because of the way the find each other . But what will happen when after grantuation when she has to leave USA to go to Russia for work and he stays back ? Will their love win ? Jack and Jessica is one of my favourite book couple .

Many thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Three and half years ago, while in Mexico Jessica meets Jack DeLuca, a cocky teenager whom she instantly falls for. The four days they spent together stay with her, even after she returns to Michigan. Three and half years later, she sees Jack at Michigan State, the school she’s been at for those years. But there’s a little hiccup to jumping back to being with him - she has a boyfriend. Despite the universe pushing them back together, the two stay in their lanes and deny the obvious, the spark of Mexico is still there. Will they they break out what they should do and reignite that once in a lifetime flame or will they let another opportunity pass them by?

Amanda has done it again - written an amazing love story for the ages. I absolutely adored Jessica and Jack’s story and found myself crying, awwing and getting frustrated by the two of them within a few pages. Their story was told in past and present, alternating POV chapters, which made me love this book even more.

Highly, highly recommend this book, especially if you’ve read any of Amanda’s previous books. I love the update of the characters within the other books and love seeing what they were all up to. Hoping there’s more in store for these characters and excited to see where Amanda goes with her writing from here.
