Everyone is Watching was a fun, fast read. This thriller is set in the world of televised reality competitions, with lots of secrets and hidden agendas. I would recommend this to my library patrons as a good beach read.

Unfortunately this plot was not my favorite, I didn’t really get invested in any of the characters besides Fern, and I felt like there were several loose ends I wanted wrapped up. I still love Heather Gudenkauf’s writing though and will certainly keep reading every book of hers!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish reading this book because the formatting of the ARC on the Netgalley app made it look super zoomed out and impossible to read. Font was way too small.
I plan to read this once the book is released in an easier format

Had my all time favorite tropes.
Paranoia and suspicion run high
Invite to a location that is a somewhat creepy setting

Shows how people will do anything to come out on top .

Thank you NetGalley, Heather Gudenkauf, and Harlequin Trade Publishing for an advanced galley of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Five seemingly unconnected strangers arrive to a secluded estate to compete for a $10 million dollar prize on “One Lucky Winner.” Secrets begin to come out and the game turns deadly. It appears someone is out for revenge…

This felt very “Squid Games” but more vengeful and personal. The premise of the game had potential to engage the reader and keep us wondering more, but there were too many holes to do so. I appreciated the timeline shifting but it wasn’t “even” enough to my preference.

Overall, not my favorite from Heather, but entertaining enough.

Wow! This thriller hooked me from the beginning and never let go! Heather Gudenkauf is an amazing storyteller and it really shows in Everyone is Watching. You'll love it for the reality show story line, and stay for the drama and tension it creates. Highly recommend!!

I LOVED this!! It was unlike anything I’ve read, and the ending left me completely satisfied! Suspenseful, thrilling, fun, and twisty! I loved the flashbacks from some of the contestants and how everything ties together.

Five random contestants
Grand prize: $10,000,000
What would you do to win???
Heather Gudenkauf’s newest novel Everyone is Watching is such a fun read! If you are a fan of reality game shows, then this one will be perfect for you. This was an original story that I devoured in a couple of days. It was a hard one to put down. When you discover that the contestants aren’t so random and, indeed, have a connection, I hope your jaw hits the floor as hard as mine did.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced readers copy and thank you, Heather, for writing it.

Ten Million Dollars, a live streamed reality show, everyone with secrets, and no where to hide. The book is binge worthy and different than any of the authors previous novels. Thank you NetGalley and Park Row Books for an advanced copy of this novel.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC ebook copy of this book and I enjoyed it! The author has a great way of keeping you interested throughout the book and has a few surprise twists near the end. The storyline was original, I just felt that there could have been more in-depth details added in about the game and more character development in the beginning.

I loved the idea for this book, a very dark reality tv game show. I’ve never read anything like it before. So gripping and. Interesting. The pacing in this book felt off to me, the first half was slower and drawn out and the second half was so fast paced.

This is unlike any Heather Gudenkauf book I have ever read and I've read all but one of hers. Yes she is an auto read for me.

Imagine given the chance to win $10 million in the space of two weeks! The cost is higher than the five contestants ever imagined on this Survivor like reality show. The challenges are unimaginable, dangerous and quite revealing. Five strangers, a host with her own agenda, the creator who is secretive all made this an addictive read.

Told from a number of povs this was intense and easy to keep track of the different characters. I had to suspend my belief many times but alas I still could not look away or put this book down. I just had to know the what, where, why and how everything was going to fit together. As the secrets are slowly revealed, the connections made it ended in an explosive conclusion that happened rather quickly.

Heather Gudenkauf has yet to disappoint, be sure to check this one out come March 26th or better yet preorder it.

My thanks to Park Row for a e-arc in exchange for a honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback. 🙂

If you enjoy reality tv shows centered around competition with a little bit (or a lot) of drama sprinkled in, this book is for you. I enjoyed the thrilling aspect, the “who’s going to crack next” atmosphere, and the insight into why each individual was fighting so hard for that top monetary prize. It left me wondering, if I were handpicked and dropped into a reality competition show environment… what would I do? What secrets would I keep and what secrets would break me? What would be the unraveling of those around me? What would YOU do? Everyone is watching, after all…

Everyone is Watching is very different from the other Heather Gudenkauf books I have read. Trying to figure out all the connections between the characters had me captivated and intrigued. This was not your typical “who done it” mystery!
The very first chapter leaves you reeling for what the game is all about. I loved how that very same part came back full circle to explain everything and be a huge turning point in the book.
It left me wondering about all the characters at the end and wanting more of the aftermath. Thank you NetGalley for the preview of one of my favorite authors!

This is the second book I've read by this other. I absolutely loved The Overnight Guests so I tried to go into this one with no expectations and a clean slate. I really enjoyed the game show aspect and it something I haven't read before. I loved the multiple POVs and felt it really helped bring the story together as a whole. Over all it was compelling and unique.

This was a fast paced thriller that kept me hooked. I loved the reality tv/influencer concept in this one! As well as the different POVs, and how everyone was connected. I did however, guess the twist pretty early on, which is no big deal, I still absolutely binged it and couldn’t wait to see how it all ended!

Woo I absolutely loved this one!! It was such a fast paced, gripping, locked room style popcorn thriller and I flew right through it. It was totally binge-able with twists and secrets galore that kept me hooked from cover to cover. I loved the reality game show aspect and loved learning about all of the characters and how their lives intersected. It was such a fun and entertaining read that kept me on the edge of my seat and shocked me with the ending! I loved this author’s writing style and will absolutely be going back to read her other books.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and HTP Books/Park Row Books for the early digital copy for my honest thoughts and review!

This is why Heather Gudenkauf is one of my favorite authors. I love her books and once I reached the halfway mark this book was unputdownable. Loved the book and the ending. Thank you to the author and the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

I really loved this thriller spin on a reality t.v. show novel. I rated this one a 4. I wanted a little more to a few of the characters back stories. But it was a good page turner and had some nice twists and turns. Congratulations on another great novel!

I would like to thank Net Galley for allowing me to read this book ahead of its March 26th publication date. This was my first book by this author, despite two of her other books sitting on my shelf. I have to admit, I am not into reality TV but I loved this book. It drew me in from the first page and the author really did an amazing job of giving a good plot twist as I tried to figure out what tied everyone together. I really enjoy a book that does a great job of alternating timelines. Sometimes it can be a bit confusing if not written well, but this was phenomenally done.
