I have thoroughly enjoyed the Lifeboat Sisters series of books and feel like I have got to know the entire family, accompanying them through the ups and down of their lives and relationships. This time it’s eldest sister Gabby’s turn to have her story told.
Although the book mainly focussed on Gabby and her relationship with her husband, Killian, I really like the fact that familiar characters appear throughout the book and we get to continue to know about the lives & loves of the other two sisters as I felt invested in their relationships by the end of their stories.
I did find aspects of this book frustrating and found myself mentally shouting ‘talk to each other / him’ as Gabby struggled with her relationship. This, however ,shows how immersed I was in the storyline as I thoroughly enjoy Tilly Tennant’s writing.
This was perhaps my least favourite of the series but it was still an enjoyable read.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the previous books in this series.

This book is about Gabby and Killian. What the RNLI and the volunteers do to keep people safe.

It was lovely to see how the story were about issues that we can relate to. It made you feel sad as well as happy.

I can’t wait to see what the author brings out next.

I highly recommend this book.

The third in the sequel of the lifeboat sisters. This can be read as a stand-alone but better if read after the others. This is the story of Gaby and Killian. A great story with twists and turns. I love the start and then going backwards. Have the tissues ready!

This book focuses on Gaby and her husband Killan who are experiencing some issues, following the tragedy that affected all the sisters in different ways. We get to meet everyone again and catch up. Gaby is internalising everything - but needs the family support to overcome the worries. A gorgeous conclusion to the trilogy. I'm sad to see them go!

Third book in the lifeboat sisters books and this time Gaby is telling her story and what a story it is. Makes sure you have tissues close as it will tug at the heartstrings.

This is the third in the lifeboat sisters series, Gaby's story. I think it can be read as a standalone but it would be better to read the other books first, to get some idea of what the family has been through.

Gaby is the organised one, the slightly distant one, with a happy marriage to Kilian and a busy life with two children. Her relationship with Kilian has always been passionate, including their fights. When she realises that he is keeping secrets from her, her world, as she knows it, starts tilting on it's axis. Can she get to the bottom of it and will the new owner of Betty's Cafe have an influence on her even though he doesn't seem to like actually living in Port Promise?

There is a lot to unpack here. But the story really works. I loved coming back to Port Promise and re-connecting with all the Morrow sisters and their partners.

As always, my admiration goes out to people who volunteer with the RNLI.

4.5 stars from me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture.

Don't worry if you haven't been following the series- this is the story of Gaby and Killian as well as their village. It's all centered around the lifeboats which serve as a social and emotional hub. But this time there's another emotional issue, something Killian has been hiding. No spoilers from me! Thank to netgalley for the ARC. A good read that fans will welcome and new readers will enjoy as well.

Oh my! What a twist, what an opening! So not expected.

I was excited to be back with the lifeboat sisters and was looking forward to seeing what Gaby’s story was going to be. And boy did I get a story.

That opening had me reeling and desperately trying to think what was going to come next. I don’t want to add anything that will spoil it for others but if you loved the previous books, then hold on to your hats as this is a wild ride!

I did really like how no matter what seemed to be thrown at Gaby and Killian they remained mature and tried really hard to put their marriage first, people do work through tough situations as a couple and still stay together, if you love someone you work at staying together and I really enjoyed seeing them fall in love all over again.

I wonder if Jill is going to get a book, or maybe a lifeboat crew member. This can’t be the last visit.

Another wonderful book following the lives and lives of a small town dedicated to supporting their RNLI team. I love how it shows the stresses and strains on the crew and their families. Community, family, friendship and a bit of romance. It makes you cry and smile - just what you want from a good book.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Another book in the series of the lifeboat sisters. This time it’s Gaby’s turn.

Her husband Killan has recently become distant flowing a terrible rescue at sea. Gaby tries but can’t get him to talk to her about how he is feeling and where he has been going. She discovers a secret that will change their lives forever.

Gaby makes a decision but before she can discuss any of this with Killan her whole life comes crashing down even further when Killan takes part in a rescue that goes horribly wrong. Will Killan be ok and will they be able to work through their differences and be happy once again?

This is such a beautiful series this book is the third in the series but could be read as a standalone. I love how this book promotes the vital work of the RNLI and the work of the volunteers.

This book developed the character of Gaby and this instalment covered her story and her marriage to killian.

I love how the author covers real life issues through her characters and this was a fabulous series of love and loss
And of finding happiness. I was sad to discover
This was the last book in the series but like all good things they must come to an end.

Look forward to seeing what this author writes
Next.

This series is definitely a pearl of the genre.
Gaby and Killian have been married a long time but they are struggling.
This is the story of how they deal with this in a small close knit community.

Great read from Tilly. I love this series. This one features mainly on Gaby and Killians life and a revelation about Killians past and Gaby has mixed emotions on how her life will continue. As is the norm with this series the Lifeboat service throws up some events that involve the whole family.

This is Gabby and Jillian’s story. Lots of drama. Secret’s are tearing them apart. It’s a very well written story with a lot of ups and downs. I enjoyed the book a lot. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This is the third book in The Lifeboat Sisters series. It can be read as a stand alone, but the stories are so good that you will want to read them all!
In this story, Gaby is working on her marriage to Killian. It was a good end to the series. Very good read! Many thanks to the author, Bookouture and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

"A Secret for the Lifeboat Sisters" by Tilly Tennant is a beautifully written tale of love, secrets, and the bonds of family. Gaby's journey to uncover the truth about her husband Kilian is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching. Tennant skillfully captures the essence of family dynamics and the power of forgiveness. The coastal setting adds a touch of charm to this emotionally charged story. A compelling read that will tug at your heartstrings until the very end.

I hadn’t realised that this book was the third in the series, it did work ok stand-alone and I would go and read the first two. I enjoyed the story.

A third and final novel in the series following sisters whose loves are focused on their small village and it's lifeboat service. Gabi is the center here and I just didn't connect to her and husband Killian quote as much as her younger sisters. But a satisfying wrap up to the series. Would read ok on it's own but definitely will be missing some things.

Great to be back with the lifeboat sisters. A very clever opening . You just wanted to keep reading it. It was hard to put down. Gaby was the main character this time. The life boat call outs rule her life and you feel for her as secrets come out. You have to be impressed with life boat people all over the Uk.. A brilliant read. Tilly Tennant at her best.
