Great to be back with the lifeboat sisters. A very clever opening . You just wanted to keep reading it. It was hard to put down. Gaby was the main character this time. The life boat call outs rule her life and you feel for her as secrets come out. You have to be impressed with life boat people all over the Uk.. A brilliant read. Tilly Tennant at her best.

First of all can I say how sad I am finishing this book : I’m guessing with the conclusion of Gaby’s story that this is the end of the Lifeboat Sisters series and I’m not ready for that yet.
I wasn’t sure how I would like this one as the other two books featured the sisters finding love but Gaby was already married so I feared the reason why she needed a story and the oh so dramatic first chapter only added to my fears . However, I needn’t have worried; this one is as good if not better than the other two. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the others. - you will still be able to follow.
This one has lots of drama and angst but you can really relate to Gaby’s situation and how she’s feeling. I so loved the ending as it seemed so fitting.
However, perhaps there could be a long list sister or two to continue our visits to Port Promise. 😀
