I've been reading this series out of order but i LOVE it and i am determined to continue reading it and all by this author. So glad these are getting rereleased. I adore the settings and her main characters so much
This is hands down my favorite of the series (so far). I am a sucker for the marriage of convenience trope and this one was so well done. I also love that we've gotten to know these two characters a bit in the earlier books in the series - it set the stage well for their romance. I ate this book up - it was another single sitting read for me - mostly because of how much I loved Rooney and Axel individually as characters. Reading about them growing both individually and also together? Excellent. I hope to see more cameos from these two in the rest of the series!
I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
Axel and Rooney are my god-tier Liese couple. There had never been a couple like them before and never has been since. They are phenomenal and standalone as the best book that Chloe has ever written. This is the bar. The standard is this. I love these two beyond comprehension. Their bonus content in the re-release was precious.
Absolutely loved this book. I love this authors writing and I can’t wait to read more of her books. OBSESSED.
"With You Forever" is a cozy read in every possible way. There’s forced proximity in a little cabin in the woods, fall nature hikes and cozy time by the fire, a cute kitten and dog, understanding friends and family, and MCs who are willing to be vulnerable in front of each other.
I absolutely loved the characters, the plot, and just the vibes. This was a really sweet (and just a little spicy) romance with great representation and some of my favourite tropes. A grumpy sunshine marriage of convenience with forced proximity and only one bed? Be still my heart.
With You Forever by Chloe Liese had well-developed characters and a plot that was engaging. This book was a great read. I highly recommend!
**Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the e-ARC. All opinions expressed are voluntary and my own.**
Cute but forgettable romance that needed better banter and characters that felt more fleshed out and nuanced.
Rooney and Axel were probably the most surprising Bergman couple for me. I didn't pick up on tension between them in previous books, but I loved ended up loving them together. Chloe Liese continues to write some of the most thoughtful contemporary romance with an emphasis on chronic illness, neurodivergent, and mental health representation.
Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for my copy to review.
This is my favorite in the Bergman Brothers series, which is full of winners to begin with!
Rooney is taking a leave from law school for her health, and she’s the last person Axel expects to find when he’s trying to fix up his family’s rundown A-frame, where she was meant to stay.
He needs money to complete the renovations, and his inheritance from his uncle stipulates that he must be married to receive the money. So, they decide to marry to solve their problems.
But what begins as a marriage of convenience turns into more. Can it last, though, given this was meant to only be a temporary Washington reprieve for Rooney?
This is the perfect forced-proximity, grumpy/sunshine marriage of convenience. Axel is sweet and with his autism, sometimes he has trouble voicing how he feels. Rooney is dealing with ulcerative colitis, and she really needs a safe place to heal.
I think Axel is that perfect safe place for her, and it’s so joyful to read. These two knuckleheads are so stubborn that it’s a real slow-burn, but man is it worth it!
This is among the strongest relationships I’ve ever seen written. I’m all in for these two, and can’t wait to read more about them (and their furry children) in future Bergman books!
I adore this series, and this one most of all. If I could make a mandatory reading list for romance, this would be on it!
Another look at the life of the Bergman family. I think what I enjoy the most about these books is that this family feels so real. They love each other so much, but that does not make them exempt from the struggles of life.
Each of the siblings has their own trails, and they try to protect each other from it, but eventually they discover that as a family and with those that they love, only then can they overcome everything.
I loved this book so much!!! Their chemistry was amazing and their dynamic super fun. I enjoyed both characters and the sexual tension they had.
This would have been a 5 stars had it not been for the unnecessary 3rd act break up. I don’t dislike that trope but it’s not always needed and I didn’t find it needed in this case.
This cover is so dreamy! I’m loving these updated covers so much. With You Forever is the fourth book in the Bergman series that centers around oldest brother Axel and Rooney.
WHAT TO EXPECT
-a marriage of convenience
-grumpy x sunshine
-disability rep
-forced proximity
*many thanks to Berkley Romance, prh audio and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review.

5/5 stars!
This book is exactly what I've been needing on my like over a month long reading slump! I knowni didn't read these in order, but that's ok 😂 This book was so sweet, heartwarming, and had some of my favourite tropes that just made it an absolute delight from start to finish! I'm in my romance era everyone, thanks Chloe!
I have read hundreds and hundreds of romance books over the past three years and this is probably in the top five. So good and life changing. Rooney and Axel forever.
With You Forever is the fourth book in the Bergman series and follows the oldest brother, Axel as he struggles with his feelings for Rooney. Two tropes shine in this story - grumpy sunshine and marriage of convenience…and they’re both fantastic!
I loved both Axel and Rooney, but I also loved the sensitive topics that they each represented (Axel on the autism spectrum and Rooney with chronic IBD). The classic A-frame cabin sets the perfect scene for this close proximity romance. The banter is beautiful. The romance is spot-on. The story is spectacular.
No notes. I loved the entire book. At this point, if Chloe Liese writes it, I’m reading it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Romance for giving me a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
“Because Axel has made me feel like that most vulnerable part of my life, the most embarrassing aspects of my illness, won’t change how he sees me. Not like my parents who need me to be better than I am, or the friends who I’ve projected that onto. He’s made that tired, worn-out part of me sit down and put her feet up and feel that it’s okay not to be okay.”
― Chloe Liese, With You Forever
Tropes;
- grumpy x sunshine
- marriage of convenience
- forced proximity
- disability rep - hero with autism & heroine with ulcerative colitis
- dual POV
🐾Nature, hiking and sunsets,

🐾STEM discussions,
🐾Cooking together,
I was deeply honored to have been included in the rerelease of the Bergman Brothers series. because no one writes like Chloe Liese. So huge thank you to Berkley Romance, Netgalley, and the author! It isn't my first or second read of this book. I also reccomend the audiobook!
Everyone can pick up one of her books and see themselves in the pages ; man , woman or non binary.
Someone with ADHD, Migraines, T1 Diabetes , or in the case of Rooney our ray of sunshine; IBD.
She crafts characters with reverence., taking time with their feelings . Her characters communicate.. A lot of readers were sad that the rest of the Bergman family didnt descend on the couple and learn of their marriage , but Axyl was treating Rooney like his biggest prize ; and respecting her privacy. IBD doesn't give a lot of good days, and a person suffering certainly isnt wanting to be in the spotlight with as big a family as she married into. .
Chloe is one of those writers that provide a mirror that everyone deserves a love story ; love is not cookie cutter and every couple has their own unique path , but at the end of the day she shows the world that a quiet introverted on the spectrum artist can be swoony . Their heart is beautiful and at the end we dont see any of those things just a Hero we wish we were going home to. .that gentle giant.
rounded up to 5 stars from 4.75 ( audio book with CJ Bloom was amazing.
Interesting concept. I did enjoy the back and forth between the two and her realness, his lumberjackness. I loved that they each had their own battles they were facing. Much more spice than I expected it to be and I usually don’t love fake marriage but this was a cute one!
I’m obsessed with this series and this was another amazing installment!!! Axel was one of the brothers that stood out to me from the very beginning. I mean, quiet, mysterious type, 🧐. His story had my type written all over it, add in Rooney who was a fave for me in one of the first books, add in a marriage for convenience and Liese’s top tier writing and you’ve got a stellar story!
