4.5🌟 - I really liked it!

Thanks @netgalley and @berkleyromance for the E-ARC!

The fourth in the Bergman Brothers series and this was such a sweet one! I’ve been loving this series so far, and can’t wait to continue in it!

Axel and Rooney were the sweetest grumpy/sunshine pairing. I have been loving a marriage of convenience story, and this one delivered. It had incredible ASD and chronic illness rep!

This was such a sweet and tender story and had so many truly funny moments. I love seeing the Bergman family as such a strong part in all the books too! Although these books are standalones, I would recommend reading them in order if you’re interested!

Chloe Liese's Bergman brothers series is such a comfort read. WITH YOU FOREVER is a sweet grumpy-sunshine, marriage-of-convenience romance. I love reading about the Bergman family, especially Rooney and Axel's romance in this book.

Alas, here we are, my last Chloe book to review and my favorite. I wouldn’t want to date a grump like Axel, but they are my favorite men to read about. I like the transition from being a grump to being a softie who is in love. I think it’s sweet. I loved that Rooney unexpectedly found herself a home in Axels life with his small group of friends and I love how sweetly their relationship developed. My favorite scene in this book is when the power went out and Axel came to the rescue 🥰.

I’m not sure what was different about this book from the others but I just absolutely loved it. It had the right amount of spice (need help with that wedding ring?🥵), sweetness and humor.

With you forever by Chloe liese. This is a very real story of being in a romantic relationship with someone on the spectrum

This story is so phenomenally done. I have been so enamored with Axel and Rooney’s story and to see it come together was a dream. As someone who deals with gastrointestinal issues, Rooney felt so real. One of my favorites of Chloe’s, for sure!

4.5 rounding up to 5.

This was so cute! Chloe writes the most precious characters in all the land 🥹 Axel and Rooney were absolutely perfect for each other, with each other and to each other. How can you not fall in love with these two?? 🥲 I can’t ever get enough of Chloe Liese’s stories, characters, steam, humor, just ALL of it. She’s so good!

“Every one of us is worthy of loving and being loved in whatever way is true to us.”

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Chloe Liese’s Bergman Brothers series. I’ve read books 1, 2, and 3 multiple times and I just love to escape into the world of this family. With You Forever is Axel and Rooney’s story. We got hints that there was something between them in earlier books, but watching their love story unfold was still unexpectedly tender.

Axel is the second oldest Bergman - a painter who keeps to himself and is content with the life he’s built in Washington state. Rooney’s taken a leave of absence from law school to deal with her worsening health and reassess her future. Needing an escape, she heads to the Bergman’s A-frame cabin where she runs into Axel and learns that the cabin is uninhabitable at the moment. Axel has big plans to fix it up without involving his family, but he’s short on funds and not sure he can raise them the old fashioned way. He could, however, get married in order to access a large inheritance from a dead uncle that would solve his financial woes. Needing a purpose for her time in Washington, Rooney offers to enter into a marriage of convenience to help Axel fix up the house his family loves.

Reading this book felt like a warm hug on a chilly day. Like an exhale after a stressful week. Like the epilogue to your favorite book. It was soft and tender, while being an incredibly intimate and moving story about learning that you - yes you, exactly as you currently are without need for fixing - are worthy of love, acceptance, and happiness. Watching Axel and Rooney slowing open up to each other about their past hurts and future hopes was such a gift. They beautifully made space for the other’s needs without making it seem like a burden to love the other person how they need to be loved.

Like the others in this book, this is a slooooww burn with a wickedly delicious payoff. All that forced proximity, one-bed goodness shines! We get small glimpses at some of the other Bergman family members but not a ton. The only thing I wanted more of from this book was to see the family’s reaction to Axel and Rooney together beyond the *amazing* Bergman Brother Summit scene.

Thanks to the author and publisher for the gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

This was such a cozy, delightful, swoonworthy read! Loved buddy reading this with Yas and Emma.

I can sum this book up in one sentence - Rooney and Axel are Luke and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls, but in a romcom setup.

The chronic illness and autistic rep in this felt so realistic and I learned a lot. For example, I really appreciated Chloe Liese’s thought to discuss subtext and how hard it can be to figure out sometimes.

The whole premise made me relate to Axel very much like yes I too would not tell my family of any struggles or problems and would want to handle on my own.

This slow burn felt a but too slow - to me it felt like we had one too many false starts with our couple.

Lastly, Chloe Liese seems amazing and I want to be friends with her very badly!!!

Thank you to Berkley Romance for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I just…I just can’t handle how good this book is. Honestly, I should just start giving Chloe Liese books 5 stars before I read them because they are never not absolutely, perfectly heartwarming + everything you could want and more. Her writing is raw and with this, she shows us that life is beautiful and messy and how human we all are. And I’ve only ever said similar things about one other author; they should be friends (Chloe and TJR, let’s have a collab). I have gushed and gushed about the first three Bergman Brothers (Sister) books so if you haven’t read them already you need to so you can read this one. Really, I live to influence so people will read these books.

When I first heard this was going to be a marriage of convenience book, I wasn’t super sure how she was going to make it happen but it worked perfectly with only some minor questions. And can I get a bit personal for a minute? To have a heroine I could relate to with a chronic gastrointestinal issue with all the diet needs…it’s sometimes nice to be seen and know that someone loves all of you + your things. As always, the representation in this book is done with such respect.

Things I loved: Axel Bergman. Where can I find a man like this? Axel, like the previous hero’s was just the most delightful human (in his own grumpy way). Rooney is also 100% a badass in her own right and I LOVED a STEM lady rep. Their friends and the tiny human who brought so much joy. Axel always making sure Rooney was fed the right food for her body is the ultimate love language. The book was so sweet and tender, it was the story these characters needed/deserved. I loved their love and how realistic it was. The pets, gosh those sweet babies. Catching up with the previous characters and getting to know some of the younger siblings…hint hint.

Things I didn’t care for: There weren’t 300 more pages. T

he bonus epilogue just made my heart sing. This is not the first time I have read this book, I received an indie ARC of this book in 2021 and have reread my own copy many times...I can tell you it is still hands down one of my all-time favorite books.

Chloe is one of my most favorite authors. I've been in love with Axel since the Very beginning. He's quiet and broody and so incredible him. I love that he's the artist and not sports like the rest of the family. I love that it takes place in the A frame. I love that Rooney, who we fell in love with in book 1 is the leading lady. Liese does a great job representing all types of disabilities. It's her bread and butter. It's own voices and also disability you don't see in literature. Rooney working through health issues.

Then them coming together for a marriage of convenience and boom falling in love AND THE SECRET PINING. I live for that. Chloe does great work making the tension and back and forth and the spice. Why is she so good at it. She's such a cozy author and I'm always so proud to interact with her and read her works. There's so much to work with here. So much to see. So much to experience. I love the Bergman family stories

Pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

4.5 ⭐️ LOVE THIS SERIES!! Couldn’t recommend it more. Chloe Liese really writes such real contemporary romance stories!

Chloe Liese delights every single time I pick up a book of hers.

Rooney is the happy go lucky extrovert and Axel is the artsy introvert. What started off as a kiss dare months back however; is quickly turning into attraction for Axel. He's Ronney's biggest crush and now they are living nearby at the A-frame.

A situation that needs both to be married (without others knowing) is the perfect solution. However; both quickly realize that feelings are more than just feelings, they're actual people behind them. What could possibly go wrong?

With You Forever is up there as one of my favorite "comfort read" stories. I loved the representation of iBS and felt Chloe Liese did a fantastic job of making the marriage of convenience trope flow. Every single time I open a Liese book, I expect and know my feelings will be brought out and With You Forever was no exception. I was delighted with the bonus epilogue and cannot wait to see what happens next in the Bergman world.

It's no secret that I love everything Chloe Liese writes. I absolutely love her Bergman Brothers series and I adored With You Forever, featuring Axel and Rooney's love story. I love that Chloe includes neurodiverse or disabled characters in her books. I feel like it's a rarity to see this type of representation in romance books, so I truly appreciate how inclusive her books are. In With You Forever, Rooney suffers from IBD / Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Axel is on the autism spectrum. I learned from the book that 130M (yes, million!) people in the world have a disability. In the grand scheme of things, it makes those with a disability not feel so alone.

Axel Bergman is a painter / artist and does well for himself. He's a bit of a self-proclaimed loner or recluse and lives in Washington state at his family's A-frame. The Bergman siblings can use the A-frame whenever they want but the only stipulation is that they have to maintain the upkeep of the house. Unfortunately, the A-frame needs a lot of repairs in order for it to be habitable and Axel has given most of his savings to his brothers' new business. Axel actually lives in a cabin he built on the A-frame's grounds most of the time. As Axel is autistic, he feels differently from others and hasn't had a lot of luck with love. He's had consensual casual relationships but he purposely doesn't get too close to the women he hooks up with. But there's one woman with whom he shared a kiss with two Christmases ago during a game of Charades that he can't stop thinking about: his brother Ryder's girlfriend's best friend called Rooney.

Rooney is Willa's best friend so she has spent a lot of time with the Bergmans'. Her parents have been pretty absent her whole entire life so she has always wanted that sense of belonging. Rooney is in her last year of law school at Stanford but due to her recurring UC issues, she wants to get away from it all and heal. Willa offers Rooney the A-frame as no one will be there but of course fails to mention that Axel lives on the premises! It's a complete shock when they run into each other but Axel was brought up to be a gentleman so he offers Rooney his cabin while he sleeps in a tent. The attraction between them is palpable and they both haven’t forgotten that kiss.

Axel, out of money, needs a way to pay for the repairs on the A-frame. One way to do that is through his uncle Jakob's inheritance but he can only collect the money under one condition: he has to be married. Since Axel is letting Rooney stay at his cabin, she feels like the least she can do is to marry Axel so he can get his uncle's inheritance. They end up getting married and know it's only for convenience but why does it feel like it’s much more than that? While the repairs are being done on the house in the weeks that follow, their attraction grows stronger and they have a hard time resisting each other. They both wonder if there is something real between them. What is this unfamiliar feeling in Axel's chest? Can they love each other the way they need to be loved?

Loved this slow burn and seeing Axel and Rooney's love story unfold bit by bit. Chloe does character development so well and every book shares a unique, captivating story. It's as if you're going through all the emotions with them. Chloe captures the essence of familial love, relationships and devotion so beautifully. I adored this book and can't wait for Oliver's book to come out in 2022!

Rating: 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5).

Damn this was so good! I am so obsessed with this series and this family and the overwhelming love these characters have for eachother! Axel and Rooney are meant to be and I truly enjoy reading them fall in love. The bonus epilogue just showed even more how incredibly in love the two of them are and how they will always be there for one another and that just makes my heart so happy!!

The Bergman A frame does it again in the #4 novel in the series from Chloe Liese.

When sunshine Rooney and storm cloud Axel are thrust together by an accidental overbooking after both runaway to the infamous A frame, they hatch a plan to help restore the beloved cabin. Axel must get married to inherit the finances and Rooney, who would do almost anything for the family who took her in, is the perfect person to fill that contract. So, not only are we hitting my favorite personality trope, we are also hitting the "marriage of convenience" trope in one fell swoop. Can 2 people who "don't have feelings for each other" (wink, wink) manage to keep things professional?

Liese is currently one of my favorite romance authors for writing real, nuanced characters. No one is perfect and disability representation is always present in some way, shape, or form.

“Dammit. I think I've caught feelings for my husband.”

One of my favorite romance tropes is marriage of convenience and With You Forever did it perfectly while featuring the most loveable protagonists.

Axel and Rooney have harbored secret crushes on one another for the past two years, but have done their best to pretend otherwise. With a bit of help from Bergman family shenanigans, they find themselves stuck together at the family A-frame and that's when the real fun starts.

When Rooney and Axel open up about the challenges they are currently facing, it leads to Rooney agreeing to a marriage of convenience to help Axel gain access to an inheritance. However, their forced proximity soon makes it difficult to continue to ignore their very obvious attraction and the feelings they are both denying.

The slow build up, the softness, and the romance made With You Forever a wonderful read. I loved the vulnerability Axel and Rooney demonstrated in openly discussing their health issues and personal challenges. Axel is autistic and Rooney deals with a chronic illness that can be painful and debilitating. Reading about these two falling in love is such a treat every single time.
