Another hilarious book by these amazing authors.

I also got the ALC for this book and the book make me understand the story even more. My stomach was hurting from laughing so much.

It was such a great story. I love Enemies-to-lovers, and this one well, damn, I don't know if I have the right words to describes what I felt, it was so good. I Laughed so hard, almost cryed from laughing, it was hilarious, I loved everything in it.

There is two scenes I really, really loved, at the rental and at the hospital. It was magical and so funny. There is also an other part but I can't tell, I'm afraid I'll tell you too much, and I don't want to beceause this book is a MUST READ. If you're not feeling okay right now, please listen to this book I'm sure you'll not be disapointed

Now I just want to know when the other book is gonna be release because I'm really addicted.

Read carefully the author's note and I dare you to not laugh about it.

Awesome book! Katy Dayton is an elementary math teacher who loves having everything planned out and in order. Her classroom is next door to Mack Houston, the music teacher at Calhoun Elementary. He annoys Katy to no end with his easygoing, flirty attitude, sexy smiles, and not to mention his noisy, out-of-control classroom that is a constant distraction. The only thing holding Katy's sanity together is the Spring Break to Flordia she looks forward to. Much to Katy's dismay, her well-planned vacation does not go as planned. Her best friend Anna, who was supposed to be her roommate for the trip, can't make it, and because of a mixup, she ends up with Mack as her Spring Break roommate instead. The witty banter between Katy and Mack, and the forced proximinty, enemies to frenemies/lovers tropes make for a delightful, hilarious easy read. This is a stand alone book but since there are cameos from characters that come out in Accidental Attachment I would recommend reading it first. Thank you Max Monroe and Netgalley for the adavanced reading copy. #bestfrenemies #NetGalley

4 stars!

This was my first book by Max and Monroe, but it won't be my last! It was a really cute, fun, and quick read! I loved Mack's personality and energy, but I was on the line about Katy throughout the book. She was super funny during the hospital part though! Honestly, I think that her whole dynamic towards Mack was rooted in the position of their classrooms (understandably bc who decides to put a music room next to math??) and the fact that he kind of reminds her of her dad lol. I did like their chemistry and their banter >>> sooo good! I thought that the ending was a bit more abrupt but it didn't bother me! Side note: I thought that the scenes with Mack's cousin and the investors were hilarious too! I love it when guys talk about romance books. I'm going to have to read their books soon.

Best Frenemies by Max Monroe is an adorable romcom. I laughed out loud many times while reading this book which is always a good thing. Mack and Katy were fun to read and I absolutely loved how their relationship developed. When you and the man you hate end up in the same room and sharing a bed and he sees you naked, it makes for a great story and an out of brain experience. While predictable, the story was still great!

There is never a Max Monroe book that I don't love. I always know I'm going to open the pages to some laughs, spice and overall a great read. This was no exception, and every book from them is becoming more and more a comfort read.

Katy is a math teacher, and Mack is music/performing arts teacher. Their classrooms are right next to each other, and Mack is always loud, which makes it hard for Katy to teach her class. That’s just one of the reasons Katy hates Mack.

Over spring break, Katy goes on vacation and rents out a former co-worker’s house with a friend. But her friend gets sick and cannot go, so Katy goes alone. Then another renter shows up, and it’s none other than her enemy, Mack.

During that time, Mack continuously tries to get Katy to let her guard down and not be so uptight. Despite her grumpiness, he never stops making jokes and trying to make her smile. And after a little accident, he shows that he also has a responsible side and takes care of her. So, she ends up trusting him and letting go of her inhibitions, so they end up sleeping together.

When they get back from break, Katy wants to pretend nothing happened, but Mack doesn’t want to just forget everything. And Katy, despite her best efforts, cannot get him out of her head.

I really liked how great Mack was with all of the kids, as well as his niece. I also liked how passionate Mack was about keeping performing arts in schools. His main goal was to ensure that schools would always have that.

Katy was very uptight in the beginning, and it was understandable, considering her parents were so free-spirited and lacked any sort of structure. But spending time with Mack helped her to loosen up a bit and not be so overly concerned about every little thing.

This was such a cute frenemies with benefits story. There were a lot of funny moments, but I did find some parts a little cringey. This was my first Max Monroe book, but I will be reading more from them.

Personally this book was not my cup of tea! That doesn’t mean that it won’t be yours though so I definitely encourage you to read it ! The plot was just a little too slow to get in to for me.

Loved it! Lots of banter and humor. I enjoy books with humor in instead of angst. It was different having the teacher perspective and how they both had misconceptions about each other. A happy ending was satisfying!

Teacher rivals, one condo, and an accidental naked encounter with the enemy..

This enemies to lovers, forced proximity, vacation tope was absolutely SO entertaining.

I am also a sucker for “he takes care of her” microtrope. Mack was so sweet to Katy and I think he always had a crush on the teacher next door.

Also, I was dying laughing at Katy’s ER morphine delusions/phsycobabble LOL.

This was so fun and had steam and had a cameo from our favorite billionaires Thatcher and friends!

Coworkers, Katy and Mack, accidentally find themselves sharing a condo on what was supposed to be a relaxing spring break from their stressful teaching careers. Mack doesn’t seem to mind, in fact he seems amused by the mix up. However, Katy is LIVID she does not want her dream vacation ruined by man-child Mack. Slowly, Katy begins seeing Mack in a different light. Will they have a happily ever after? Or is this a spring break fling?

This was my FIRST Max Monroe book and I loved it. It was told in dual POV (Katy & Mack) and the audiobook had separate voices for each of them. It was such an easy listen, I never once found myself zoning out or bored. I felt like this book had a good amount of angst, sweet, and spice!

I definitely recommend this book to others looking for an easy romance read with a bit of spice—especially those that love a good enemies to lovers / forced proximity story. I can’t wait to read more for Max Monroe—officially a fan!

Thank you so much NetGalley and Max Monroe for this ARC!

Fun, flirty, and kind of fluffy romance between two nemesis that don't really hate each other as much as they tell themselves. Thrown into forced proximity, the usual fun ensues. Amusing cast if characters and a fast read.

The Facts: enemies to lovers, workplace rivals, forced proximity, only one bed, he falls first, romcom

This was a really fun read. I found myself smiling at the book numerous times. The sexual tension was to die for throughout the book. I enjoyed Mack and Katy's chemistry. This is my first Max Monroe book, and it will not be my last!

This book was a fun light hearted frolic for those that enjoy rom coms, on page sex, and well known tropes. This was my first Max Monroe but won’t be my last for palate cleanser reads. I didn’t love the narrators but that wouldn’t stop me trying audio again.

LOVED!
This is everything that I have come to expect from Max Monroe - it was equal parts funny and sweet and had me hooked from the very start. I adored the chemistry and banter between Katy and Mack - their story was just perfect. I also have to say that the cover for this and Accidental Attachment are so gorgeous; they really are some of my favourites.
