This was a super fun, steamy, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, dual POV, vacation romance between two teachers who find themselves appreciating one another when they have to share a rental on spring break.

Full of heart, heat and humor and great on audio narrated by CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese. This was another winner from writing duo Max Monroe! Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher/authors for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!

Thanks so much to @netgalley for the chance to review Best Frenemies by Max Monroe. This was so fun and sexy. The intro warns about how funny this book would be, and it lived up to the hype! Teachers Mack and Katie butt head constantly, until they somehow ended up with a double-booked vacation house. The interactions were quite cute and I chuckled numerous times. Kate was super loveable and Mack is such a cinnamon roll. Excellent narration!

The warning label at the beginning of this audiobook says it all. It warns about where appropriate reading/listening locations and about beverage intake as well as bladder control issues. I was laughing right out the gate so I can attest that listening in public will get you awkward interactions or at least looks from those around you, beverage intake is at your own risk or you may spit or choke on your drink and that empty bladder is a must if you have bladder control issues! Once again the Max Monroe duo have created characters to delight and charm us as well as thoroughly entertain us. If you need a break from the real world and want a lighthearted one, then this is the book for you! It can definitely be read as a stand alone book, but you will enjoy it even more if you read Accidental Attachment first as that book is mentioned in this one and several of the characters from Accidental Attachment make cameo appearances in this book. Trust me, you don't want to miss out as this book is every bit as outstanding as the other! I absolutely can't wait for the next book in the series to hit as I can't wait to read more about Sammi, Seth and Noah or in my case, listen to more about Sammi, Seth and Noah! The dual narration totally makes these books come alive. The author weaves a riotously funny book, but the narrators bring the characters, emotions and the humor to life! This author duo is quickly becoming a must listen for me! I am definitely adding them to my must "fangirl" over them list!

It was wonderful to be back in this world created by Max and Monroe. The main characters, Mack and Katie get to know each other properly during a forced vacation, and it was lovely to witness.
At times, when the male narrator was being Katie, his voice sounded slightly overexaggerated, but once he stopped screaming it was okay.
Other than that, it was highly enjoyable and easy to listen to.
Another winner from these authors.

Thank you NetGalley and Max Monroe for tge free ALC in exchange for my honest review. This was my first Max Monroe book and definetly need to check out their backlist. I really enjoyed the story the narration was PERFECTION i loved both narrator's voices that worked for me. I really liked the transition from hard enemies to lovers. It felt fluid and not rushed... i liked the side characters and felt they added to the story.
