Quinn made his fortune developing a drug that helped a lot of people with ALS. All of his siblings, in fact, excel in their given careers. Only one stayed behind in thair hometown of Rush Creek - Hanna, the youngest. She was their when their grandfather, the man who basically raised them passed away.

But they're all there for the reading of the will. It seems grandpa has a few tricks up his sleeves to get the family back together, even beyond the grave. They either have to do his bidding or they lose the family land to an evil mining company.

Hott Shot is the first book in the Hott Springs Eternal series, and it follows Quinn and Sonya, the woman in charge of the spa the family owns. Sonya is driven and loving and would do anything for anybody - except let them help her. She had a rough childhood, and it feels natural for her to provide without ever being provided for.

Quinn is aloof and unsure of himself. He's always been the outcast and has convinced himself he isn't a people person or even a very well liked person.

Sonya and Quinn were perfect for each other. He is a patient, natural provider who just needed someone to show him how worthy he is. She desperately needed someone like him to show her she was worthy of help and support.

Quinn is also a dirty mountain man, so be warned! He knew how to take control in Every. Single. Way!

This is a spin-off of the Wilder series, but it can be read as a standalone. I found myself able to enjoy the story completely without having read the other series.

If you're looking for a love story where the sweet and handsome nerd gets the girl (and his confidence!) and the strong, independent woman gets spoiled by the man of her dreams, grab this book!!

Favorite quotes:

"Lab coats are apparently not manufactured for scientists with mountain-man bodies."

"It's weird..." I say. "But I thinj sometimes asking for help is a gift to the people who love you."

Thank you, Serena Bell and NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Oh I so absolutely enjoyed this book!! I’ve been excited to see what’s in store for the Hott brothers ever since their Grandfather’s hilariously snarky commentary in Hanna’s book.

Quinn and Sonya were super cute together, once they got out of their own way haha. It was definitely a grumpy/sunshine relationship but it worked well for them and Quinn wasn’t so grumpy by the end of the book anyway. They really brought out the best in each other. Sonya taught Quinn that he was as much of a grumpy recluse as he thought, and Quinn taught Sonya how to accept love and help from those who cared about her.

This was a very emotional book in between all the happy and cute romcom moments. All the talks about grief, abandonment, about the hope of reunions. The part that made me cry though was at the end when the Hott brothers, the Wilder brothers, the salon crew, and the entirety of Rush Creek came to save the day. It was a beautiful, bittersweet, hope-filled chapter and I was so proud of all of them.

This is an excellent start to the new series and I seriously cannot wait for the next books and the shenanigans the Hott brothers will be put through. You can already tell book 2 is going to be wild hehe.

The above review is already up on goodreads and will be posted to my Amazon on release day

The Hott brothers left their small town behind. They all went their separate ways and became successful in their own fields.
Until their grandfather's will bring them back with specific instructions to salvage the family land.

Quinn, the grumpy scientist is forced to be the receptionist of the family saloon and to work for the bubbly and good-hearted Sonya. What will their forced collaboration lead to?

This was my first book by Serena Bell but it won't be the last. I'm curious about the Wilder brothers so I've added all their books to my TBR and I want to know what's up with the rest of the Hott brothers too.

Hott Shot is a fast and easy read. Quite funny and sweet.
I love the characters and the plot: the grandad thing is genius and I can't wait to know what he had in store for the other Hott brothers.

However, I couldn't entirely connect with the book. I felt like the story was fragmented or there was a part of the backstory missing.
Maybe it was all too rushed?
Sincerely, I can't pinpoint something specific. Nothing was really bad. There is just something missing.

- rom-com
- small town
- opposites attract
- forced proximity
- grumpy/sunshine

Dual POV
Wilder appearances
Precious dog
Simply delightful

I AM SO HAPPY. I loved Wilder Adventures and the Wilder brothers + their heroines, so naturally I was sad to be leaving Rush Creek. But Serena has blessed us with a NEW family staring Hanna’s brothers, aka the Hott Brothers!
This is the first in series featuring Quinn Hott, a scientist, and Sonya Rossi, a spa manager. All of the siblings are summoned for their grandfather’s will reading, where Quinn gets the first letter—requiring him to work the front desk of Hott Spot, the spa Sonya manages. It’s a grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, forced proximity, living under the same roof in a nosy small town where the brothers left years ago for various ventures. My only issue is HOW LONG UNTIL SHANE’S BOOK??!!

I read this book in one day because I just loved it so much! My little grumpy Quinn with a heart of gold and Ray of sunshine Sonya were everything.

So if you have read any of the Wilder Series by Serena Bell you know Rush Creek and a few of the locals. This book/series is a spin off and dare I say just as good, if not better than the Wilder Series.

I was hooked right from the beginning and could not stop. Yes I has to work and it was my husbands birthday but this book was too good to stop reading.

I can’t wait to see what the Hott brother have in store.

A grumpy-sunshine romance. Quinn is a grump forced to work in the Hott Spot Spa so his siblings can get their grandfather's inheritance. Sonya is the perky manager and they fall in love...

It's funny... filled with fun characters. So many LOL moments. Enjoyed the romance a lot.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
