This was such a fun ride. I inhaled this book! My jaw was on the floor at a certain twist reveal. Such a great read. I loved it!
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for the E-ARC.
All thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.

Woah! What a surprise book this was! The twists and turns definitely kept me on my toes and I loved reading this one! I expected a quick book about 2 women getting revenge for each other, but this book was so much more. I definitely recommend it!

This was very fine for me. Really enjoyed the first twist but then I just kinda lost interest in this. Also couldn’t get over the fact that all these characters had cars in NYC

This was a fantastic read! I was so invested in both Ruth and Amanda’s stories. I never guessed that we were in 2 separate timelines! When the realization hit me about Ruth’s identity, I was shocked! I still find myself questioning if Ruth would have ended up with a better outcome if her husband had still been around. His storyline was really sad. Another twist I didn’t see coming was the real identity of Billy! I was also shocked about it, but was really glad he took care of Amanda’s daughters killer.

So I was nervous to start this one due to it being so well-loved this winter and spring as THE standout psychological thriller and I didn’t want to be disappointed! However, it absolutely lived up to the high ratings and friend recommendations. From the very beginning, Cavanagh creates a sense of foreboding and intense fear through the trauma that both Amanda and Ruth experience. I knew somehow their plot lines would collide but I absolutely did not see the multiple twists that made my jaw drop. It is hard to give too many details without revealing spoilers, but I absolutely recommend this thriller to readers who enjoy psychological thrillers with multiple POVs, unreliable narrators, serial killers, fast-paced, and revenge themes. Great writing, palatable suspense, and a dark and scary atmosphere that made gave me chills!

What happens when two strangers meet who have the same dark goal without a way to accomplish it? Kill for Me, Kill for You takes you on the journey to see what happens when two strangers decide to trade kills in order to get away with murder.
This story was twisty and propulsive from the very beginning. The premise was incredibly interesting and thought-provoking. I appreciated how the author kept the story moving forward. Unfortunately in order to do there was an incredible suspension of disbelief required. The last big twist tipped this story so far into the implausible that it became difficult for me to enjoy the ending.
Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Twisty! I love unpredictable twists and this book was full of them! Another winner by Steve Cavanagh. I was hooked from the first page to the last and flew through the pages. One of my favorite reads of the year for sure!

I absolutely loved this book. Short chapters, suspenseful and an ending I did not see coming! I loved the twist on Strangers on a train. I will definitely read more from this author!

Taking the law into their own hands... Oh yes, they did!
I'm a huge fan of Steve Cavanagh's legal thrillers. Kill for Me, Kill for You is his latest release and is a straight-up crime thriller/psycho-thriller that is intense and will leave your jaw hanging with its twisty ending!
Cavanagh once again nailed it. Fast-paced and entertaining. A must-read! 4.5⭐

I loved this book. The writing was great and the story was so unpredictable and unique and kept me wanting to read

There are certain authors who are expert hook throwers -Steve Cavanagh is one of them. First page and I knew I wasn’t putting this book down until it was finished. I had no idea that it was going to be so much more than I was anticipating. Each page and chapter morphed into another possibility keeping the final resolution out of reach. I admit to having a few twinges of “maybe this has more to do with it than I thought.” And just when I thought it was all clear - bam - left turn, upside down and I was once again left with my mouth open. Just a super great, twisted up, turn me around kind of a well thought out mystery that isn’t over until the very last page. The “fear was literally killing me” - I felt it - how did Cavanagh create the kind of atmosphere that had me sucking for air and unable to put this book down. I am wondering how he will top this amazing psychological thriller.
Many many thanks to Atria Books and NetGalley for a copy.

This is my first read by the author and wow it was quite twisty. I saw the Patricia Highsmith homage in the plot and smiled. I was not prepared for the twists it takes from there. It kept me on my toes and not wanting to put it down.
I will say it started out as a little bit of a slow burn, but that last half more than made up for it. Trust me when I say, don't read any more about this one and go in cold so nothing gets spoiled. If you like high concept cat and mouse, then go pick this one up.

This was a different book from others I've read. I enjoy books with multiple POVs and I was thrown for a loop when two periods of time came together. I didn't realize two of the POVs were from an earlier time. But I think it worked really well for this book. The book started ou really slow for me and I was afraid it would stay like that, but by the 2/3 point, the twists really started happening.
Thank you to NetGalley, Atria Books, and author Steve Cavanaugh for this gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

One of my favorite recent #suspensethrillers - I absolutely loved this one, although once again I found myself pulling my hair out over a main character’s naïveté and the situations she got herself into. Overall, though, this one is a fast paced, unputdownable, emotional trek that bends the rules of morality and empathy and will have you entertained throughout. One of the plot twists had me absolutely losing it and was pitch perfect - one of the others was slightly more foreseeable, but still well done.

Amanda is shattered by the kidnap and murder of her young daughter, and her husband’s suicide following the traumatic events. The only thing fueling her is revenge and her determination to end the life of the man she knows is responsible for the demise of her beloved family.
•
When she enters an emotional support group and finds a friend and ally whose emotions, feelings, and desires mimic hers exactly, she finally feels as if she is on the road to redemption. That is, until she finds herself trapped in the web of a mastermind con and years long hunt for blood that has turned into utter madness.
•
Amanda’s story is intertwined with that of Ruth, whose life is shattered, much like Amanda’s, when she is the victim of a break in and attempted murder, crushing body, psyche, and soul, and is forced to live with the brutal reality that her blue-eyed, suave would-be killer is roaming the streets - and, likely, coming back for her.

After DNF'ing Thirteen a few years back, I was worried Steve Cavanagh's style was just not for me. I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled the whole time reading this. It was so twisted in the best way. I was thinking it would be a typical "Strangers on a Train" plot but it proved me wrong. So many interweaving stories and characters that I wasn't sure how they would fit together but they did! I would love to see this one play out on screen,

I really enjoyed this book.
This one felt like you really had to focus in and pay attention because everything was important and had meaning behind it.
I liked that it was told from three points of view. It was enough to keep it interesting but did not get overwhelming.
I would recommend just going into this one as blind as possible. It basically centers around three women who all want revenge.
Overall, I would call this a must read for thriller lovers.

I love Strangers on a Train so I knew this was one, I couldn't pass up.
Amanda is angry. She wants revenge. She lost her family and the man who is responsible is walking free while hers are all gone. The police can't do anything about it. The man is powerful and careful. A bad decision places her in a court-ordered therapy group.
Wendy lost her daughter to a predator. She stalks him and wants nothing more than to make the man disappear.
These two women meet in group therapy and they strike up a conversation and share drinks at a bar. They both wish the men who destroyed their lives to cease to exist. This is where an idea develops. What if Amanda kills Wendy's guy and Wendy kills Amanda's? Could they do it?
In between these chapters, we also learn about Ruth, a woman who was attacked at her home. The man who attacked her had intense blue eyes that she won't ever forget. How is Ruth intercepting Wendy and Amanda's lives?
A great thriller from the opening scene! I was riveted to the chapters and I couldn't wait to reach the ending. Did I guess the main twist? Oh yeah, and very early on. However, it didn't take away any of the enjoyment.
I do wish the author would decide to bring Detective Farrow again. He was so interesting!
Cliffhanger: No
4/5 Fangs

This was absolutely amazing!!!!
I loved how the little pieces came together. The foreshadowing that led to puzzle pieces being clicked into place.
We meet Ruth who has been violently attacked in her home when her husband is out with the guys. We meet Amanda who has been stalking her daughter’s killer and Naomi who Amanda meets at a supportive group. The three women all have a connection that is powerful and awakening.
There is so much trauma in this book. If you have any triggers I would be warned that this book has it all.
Even though this book is sad it is empowering and satisfying.
I gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

So many plot twists. At about 80 percent in I had my hands over my eyes because I didnt know if I wanted to see what was coming up next. Phenomenal story.

I found Steve Cavanagh’s courtroom / crime dramas featuring Eddie Flynn really clever and compelling. So I was pleased to receive an advance reader’s copy to review from the publisher through NetGalley. As I started: Hmm, female protagonists. This is different. And it took awhile to build the backstory. BUT it’s got serial killers and devious schemes, amateur sleuthing and SO MANY TWISTS once we (think we) know the characters! In the end, I think this is one of Cavanagh’s best books.
