Samantha Chase has done it again! She’s written a fabulous Christmas story that will delight those new to the series who can read this as a standalone BUT if you haven't read any of the Montgomery Brothers series I highly suggest you start! The book is essentially an epilogue to the original characters, you see all of them and their children, some of whom are adults, introducing the next generation of characters.
The ups and downs, a baby, 54 people under ONE roof, sprinkle in some drama, and a lot of fun. Never a dull moment with so many people. And of course, William is at it again. Playing merry matchmaker, only now it's with his grandkids!
Highly recommend!!
This is a good book. This story is about the Montgomery family. They are having a family Christmas in North Carolina. They are flying and driving from across the United States. Each family have issues from new baby, to cutting back on hours working, to reality tv to match making. The one thing that holds the family is love.
I absolutely loved this! It was the perfect holiday romance to curl up with under the covers on the couch and get lost in. 5 star read!!

The Montgomery family gathers for Christmas in a sprawling Blue Ridge mountain home, bringing together over fifty family members from across the country. Despite the challenges each couple faces, they come together to provide support and encouragement for one another. William Montgomery's matchmaking antics add a delightful touch to the narrative, while Kevin T. Collins delivers a captivating narration, bringing each character to life with skill and engagement. Despite the large cast of characters, the reunion is depicted seamlessly, allowing readers to reconnect with beloved figures and anticipate future storylines. With themes of family, gratitude, and matchmaking, this heartwarming holiday tale is sure to uplift and entertain readers, making it a perfect festive read. Overall, this story is a perfect blend of humor, romance, and holiday spirit, making it an enjoyable and quick read.
I was given this book in return for my honest review ❤️
I have never read any books from this author and I LOVED this one! I’m definitely going to be going back and reading all about the Montgomery’s and reading them from here on out.
In this book the whole Montgomery family is joining together for a few weeks to spend the holidays together. It’s the first time they all have been together in one space for this long in a while. This bunch is so fun and really show the true meaning of the holidays and just how important being with family is. There’s some bits of drama, some accidents along the way, but mixed with all kinds of holiday fun!
This does read in multiple points of view as the story goes which can sometimes be confusing, but I also thought it added a little fun to the story. This was absolutely the perfect holiday read to start out the upcoming Christmas season.
✔ All.The.Montgomerys
✔ A Christmas Reunion
✔ A skosh of shenanigans and mischief, especially if the patriarch William has just a toe in the room ;).
✔ A dash of spice, a dollop of sweet, and a whole lot of fun.
Pack your bags on another adventure of family, friendship, love and holiday cheer this Christmas season in a winter wonderland of fun.
The attention to detail, the character and plot arcs, all those couples, not to mention the twists, and turns how did you keep it all straight Samantha?!?!?.
If you've never read a Montgomery Brothers book you are about to discover a family you'll wish was your own. One that comes with a ton of adventure, mischief, and lots of love.
When you finish there are plenty of Montgomery books to keep you busy into the new year!
I have a feeling there is so much more to come in the next year and I can't wait!
☕🔥🔥 A sinfully sweet, hotter than sweet with bedroom romance that tingles in all the right places, and a dash of spice to satisfy that slightly spicy craving.
The book A Merry Montgomery Christmas was an enjoyable read. I would recommend any book written by Samantha Chase. Happy Reading!
I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
I really enjoyed this.
It was just such a fun festive read. I loved it alot and it was just what I was wanting to read
A wonderful Christmas treat with a family that will definitely get you in the mood for the holidays. Follow along you are met with things from business problems to a surprise baby. They are the kind of family that knows how to work through their issues not matter what they are and bring the spirit of Christmas to life. A truly lovely read that got me in the mood to enjoy the holiday season!
I love the Montgomery family and the whole story, however, with this being the 6th in the series- it definitely would have been more enjoyable if I had read at least a couple of the previous books. It should be noted that this is not a standalone in the series- more of a wonderful wrap up to visit all your favorite characters!
I just loved reading A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase. The book gives you a chance to catch up with all the couples and what is going on in their life since there book. Each couple is going through something in their marriage. They are all in different stages in their life and marriage. It also good to read about all the children have.
The family shenanigans were a ton of fun to read and I can only imagine the chaos that ensues with that many people in a single house; it was relatable. But admittedly, I didn't enjoy the amount of names shoved into this book; it was too much. It felt like a challenge to see how many names the author could name in the book and it was a lot. I was however, very invested in the budding relationship between Noah and Lily, I can't wait to read on to follow them on their journey!
A Merry Montgomery Christmas is the eleventh book in Samantha Chase’s Montgomery Brothers series. Eldest brother William, his wife Monica, brother Robert and his wife Janice, and brother Joseph’s widow Eliza have put together a two week family reunion to include the week before Christmas through January 2nd. The huge house in Asheville will accommodate the entire three generations of about 55 people in all.
With the arrival of the elder generation’s grown children and their spouses and children, the joys and sorrows, conflicts and solutions, and surprises aplenty are revealed, as is the matchmaking skills of William, through the years that were and those yet to come.
This is an intricately woven story with many characters to keep track of, but enjoyable nonetheless. I did like this story and do recommend it!
A Merry Montgomery Christmas is a Christmas novel about our favourite characters from the Montgomery Brothers series. I was so excited to read this one. A family reunion and catching up with their lives with a Christmas setting? Sounds like the perfect way to feel warm and fuzzy inside.
I read all the books before starting this one, since there are so many couples and people. And I was right, I almost lost track. So I'd highly recommend doing so before reading this.
But it was such a fun, cozy read! Samantha Chase has always had a way to my heart. And I adored William Montgomery, he made me giggle with his antics.
Would definitely recommend this who wanted a nice epilogue to the whole series, I enjoyed it a lot!
Thank you so much to Valentine PR, Samantha Chase and NetGallery for the ARC, these are my honest thoughts.
Although this was a “reunion” book of sorts and I hadn’t read every book in the series, it was AMAZING and now I want to go back and read every single one! AND there is a new romance brewing… so more to come! This book solidifies the notion that even matches made in heaven have their struggles and a good family foundation smoothes out a lot of bumps.
Overall good book.. A lot of back and forth between all the couples in the story... It does give off a Christmas vibe... Where u want to read this book curled up with a blanket and drink...
It's Montgomery Mayhem! The entire Montgomery family and a few extras are under one roof for Christmas for two weeks which means over 50 people and lots of emotions, mayhem, fun and accidents are sure to be had! This was my first foray into the Montgomery world and what an introduction it was! It was so awesome to have one book cover so many different couples' perspectives at once. I felt like I got a crash course in the family, much like the character Noah did as well! Being an OCD reader, it pains me to read a book out of order, but this book sounded good, had a Christmas theme which I was in the mood for and was readily available to me so I jumped on it. I am so very glad that I did! I can't wait to go back and read the books in order and really dive into the Montgomery family deep end! Which means that I have 9 books waiting for me to devour! I am so ready to get started. The characters are so relatable and charming while being wildly diverse in personalities that I can't wait to get to know the entire family even better and I would bet we are just getting started as I feel there has to be a future book for Noah as well! If you want a good, clean romance with a hint of steam then this series needs to be cued up and on your TBR list!
One of my absolutely favorite authors and this is always a favorite series of hers. Each book is like visiting an old friend and catching up on all of the family.
It was so great to catch up with all of the Montgomery gang again. The author provided us with insight into each individual family and honest drama that is going on in each of their lives. After reading each couples stories, I enjoyed getting to see them all again at this huge family reunion.
I especially love reading stories that are based in NC. Since I live in Winston Salem, I love how Lily had attended UNCSA! Thank you Samantha Chase for another awesome Christmas story!
This book is one I couldn’t wait to read! All of my favourite characters from the Montgomery Brothers series all in one place celebrating my favourite holiday, Christmas. Catching up with each couple, their kids and of course the patriarch himself, William and his lovely wife, Monica, was wonderful and entertaining. More than fifty family members under one roof of course leads to some tension and stress, as well as flares of temper and other emotional outbursts, especially when discussing an upcoming business deal. William has done well over the years with his matchmaking efforts, (though he did have a lot of help from Monica), and is more than pleased with the resulting families that are now celebrating Christmas together for the first time in years.. Perhaps he has another match up his sleeve, this time for his beloved granddaughter and a worthy fellow he has had his eye on. The Montgomery family is close knit, supportive and loving, as illustrated throughout this book. Add in some Christmas activities, some magic of the season, and the result is a fantastic, very entertaining and throughly enjoyable read.
I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
