I love a good Holiday read.
The Montgomery Family is back for the Holidays and we get to catch up with everyone and see how they’re all doing. And like any good Family reunion we’re gonna laugh, love and enjoy all the drama.
Now I will say this may be better enjoyed if you’ve already read the Montgomery Brothers Series. There’s A LOT of people in this book, with multiple POVs, and if you don’t know who they are then it can get a little confusing. But other then that, this was an enjoyable read with barely any typos and written nicely. Oh, and we also get a little sneak-peak at a new romance thats brewing between Noah and lily. Yeaaahhh…I can’t WAIT to see how that plays out. 2024 is going to be a good year for reading.
Happy Reading Everyone🖤
Oh and I received an ARC from NetGalley but this review is 110% all me.

A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / Pages: 321 / Genre: Holiday Romance
Part of what I love most about Christmas is the increased feelings of appreciation for everyone around you. This is the season where people make the time to get together with family and friends and appreciate each other. A Merry Montgomery Christmas does just that with the huge extended Montgomery family getting together for a week spent together in a huge rented mansion just catching up on each other’s lives.
This is the eleventh book in The Montgomery Boys series, so I wasn’t familiar with all the characters and their backstories but the author did a great job filling you in on each couple. There are so many of them, it got a little confusing sometimes but it was easy enough to follow and made me want to start reading this series from the beginning. If you like stories about big families spending the holidays together with some family drama and romance sprinkled in, then this book is for you.
Thank you @valentine_pr_ and @samanthachaseromance for the advanced copy of this book. I really enjoyed it.
The Montgomery series was the first books of Samantha’s I read so I was so excited for this book. I love all the updates of all the families. I love that William is still very spunky. I love the Christmas setting. Overall I just loved it all. Cannot wait for the new series.
A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase. I loved this Christmas story. All the Montgomerys get together for Christmas. Reminds me of when we used to have McKenzie family reunions and we would all get together. Of course in those days there were no electronics but we played card games and listened to my cousins and grandmother play the piano and sang Christmas songs. This book brought back so many memories of those times. Was a very sweet book with a little mystery thrown in.
I really enjoyed catching up with all of the Montgomery's over their holiday vacation. So much has changed and yet somethings are the same. It is a great segue into the next book in the series.
What a fun and seasonal story. It was tricky keeping all the characters straight but once I decided to focus on their stories and the unfolding of their lives I enjoyed the book. When an extended family of 54 head out to a holiday vacation hilarity ensues. You'll laugh and cry at the antics of this lively family. They bring you right along as they traverse the rigors of daily life with their growing family. I'm sure it would have helped to have read the previous books in the series, I feel the author clearly shares the relationship between family members.
Although I received a free ARC from Net Galley and the publisher, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
A Merry Montgomery Christmas is book 10 in The Montgomery Brothers series by Samantha Chase.
I found the story to be sweet and charming.
The cast of amazing characters are likeable, relatable and fun. This is simply a delightful little story to brighten your holiday.
I love the Donovan series and this book was another Chase novel I truly enjoyed.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read this ahead of its publication date in return for my honest review.
Samantha Chase is one of my very top favourite authors - but this is a series of hers that I haven’t read… and this is book 10! I have some serious catching up to do… I know I’ve intended for a long time to go back to her full back catalogue but this single book is essentially a crash-course on the whole thing.
It’s an epilogue on 9 previous storylines to wrap them all up and now I have some serious spoilers after feeling extremely lost initially - so don’t be like me and read this as a nice Christmas story unless you’re familiar with the earlier books in the series. It is not at all a standalone!
Each of the Montgomery Brothers has their stories told further in this huge family Christmas gathering (there was a huge cast of characters since there was something like 54 Montgomerys and a Wylder present), with some very interesting twists, plus one grandchild is infringed upon by the grandparents matchmaking when a Montgomery Family business employee is convinced to join the extended family for the holidays… and a preview for her next book shows it is for this couple, not long after this holiday! I’m looking forward now to reading the first Wylder Love book about their story, in Irresistible Love! (*this preview was only in the ebook and not the audiobook version)
I had some issues with the audio version but definitely worth checking this title out in ebook, especially if you’ve read the earlier books in this series! Samantha Chase is one of my very top fave authors for a reason and this book, while I started confused without the background, caught me up and had me hooked as always!
I received an advance copy from NetGalley and Valentine PR, and this is my honest feedback.
Christmas is my favourite time of the year and i feel the Montgomery’s are my extended family so I was very excited to pick up this magical read. All I need to say is this book was everything I expected and so much more. From the moment I picked this book up I knew I was reading something very special and this was confirmed when the story stayed with me long after the final word was read.
Having the Montgomery clan in one room was always going to be fun and entertaining and I can assure you that this magical read will have you giggling, swooning and laughing out loud. William Montgomery is up to his old tricks with his matchmaking but more importantly he wants his family to have a wonderful time.
This is a magical read that I highly recommend.
A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase is the tenth book in the Montgomery Brothers series.
This book is like curling up with a blanket in front of a warm fire, warm and cozy. It's everything you love about the Montgomery series rolled into a festive Christmas getaway. Who doesn't want 50+ family members together for two weeks at Christmas. You get updates on each couple and their offspring with fun surprises and new challenges. If you've enjoyed this series, you will definitely enjoy reconnecting with your favorites and possibly seeing the next generation fall under the talented matchmaking of William Montgomery.
All things Montgomery....
At Christmas time...Its a fun slice of life of the clan Montgomery.
There's a lot of moving pieces, along with the chaos of the season.
Recommend.
4.5
Nothing better than a holiday season with your favorite family!! Samantha Chase takes her readers on a fabulous journey with characters they have already fallen in love with. Add in holiday snippets that once again prove what true family is all about makes this one of those holiday reads that will come of the bookshelves year after year. Wonderful!!
This story was a blast. How fun to catch up and caught up in all of their lives again. 50 family members all together for Christmas. Never a dull moment. Read this book even if you haven't read all the books yet!
A fun addition to the Montgomery series. Once again William is intent on being a matchmaker all while there are 50 plus members of the family gathered for Christmas. So many goings on under a very big roof! It’s a fun, sweet, happy read that has me awaiting the next in the series.
5 Star Review A Merry Montgomery Christmas (The Montgomery Brothers #11) by Samantha Chase
I love any story that is centred around Christmas; it’s a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate life. I enjoy Samantha Chase’s style of writing; her characters are engaging and A Merry Montgomery Christmas kept me entertained from the first to the last chapter.
When the whole Montgomery clan get together for the holidays you know that you are in for story that will have you laughing, swooning and entertained. Of course, it would not be a Montgomery story without the head of the family William Montgomery and his matchmaking. This adds an additional layer to the story. He is determined that all of his family will get their own happily ever after, he is such a wonderful character.
Full of love, family, romance, and drama it was wonderful being back with the Montgomery’s.
I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
Incredibly poorly written with absolutely awful dialogue. I was confused from the first page and could never really get back on track.
When I saw that the ebook and audiobook for this story was available, I had to get them both .
What a lovely way to bring all of the Montgomery characters we have come to love through the years of reading the Montgomery Brothers series.
Now older with the kids growing up, a new phase of their lives begins. Each family having had it’s challenges and heights now all meeting up to a Christmas get together. One with over 50 family members!
Conflicts arise, the patriarch and the matriarch still having a “behind the scenes” handle on the group and loving them all.
A perfect way to give the readers a feel good start to the holiday season.
In the audiobook , the narrator, Kevin T Collins ,brought the story to life.
I was entrusted a copy of the ebook and the audiobook by Netgalley and Dreamscape Media. Thanks to them both .
I absolutely love Samantha Chase books and this one didn’t disappoint at all!! The entire Montgomery family, all 54 of them, are together for Christmas. William and Monica hire an enormous house so that they can all celebrate but of course this comes with drama and everyone has their own stresses and life decisions to make. What I really loved was how everyone is connected, their individual lives and where they fit in to the family is explained in the first few chapters. The Montgomery family are so supportive of each other and welcome others into the family fold easily. The continuous thread running through is love, friendship and how important family is. Each character is definitely an individual as is each relationship. Romance, drama, all age groups covered and a sense of belonging make this a fabulous festive read. Fingers crossed there are more Montgomery family books to come!! Thank you to the publisher, Valentine PR and Literary Management and Netgalley for the ARC
A Merry Montgomery Christmas brings the entire 50+ members of the clan together for a two week holiday celebration. Series fans know that the patriarch William will have some big plans including reveling in and continuing his mission to be the best family matchmaker ever. Readers can be assured that with a group this large there’ll be secrets, conflicts, surprises, and a lot of sweetness and love. This is a wonderful story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
This book completes the original Montgomery Brothers series. Although I was eager to catch up with all the characters I have to admit that I found it somewhat overwhelming to keep up with all of them. I did a lot of looking back at the original books to figure out who was who. There are some major life changes for most of the characters as well. This is also the launch for the next generation of the Montgomery family and their matchmaking elder relatives! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
