Dr. Debra Mandel is completely on point! I've read several of Dr. Mandel's books and have always been impressed. In Sassy and Rude, Mandel does a beautiful job explaining the dynamics of the mother/daughter relationship. She provides practical and understandable tools to get through the tough obstacles. I really appreciate the real life examples as they were very well illustrated. A must read for those struggling with mother and daughter relationships!

I have read many books written, by Dr. Debra Mandel, and I feel that Dr Mandel always provides excellent suggestions and always uses her own personal experience to make the reader feel more connected. She has the ability to make you feel you’re are not alone, and provide incredible. tools. She is an excellent author, psychologist and speaker. I highly recommend this book!

This book generalizes the “mother/daughter” relationship and invalidates and dismisses daughters’ feelings by referring to it as “sass.” It’s a book for narcissistic mothers who can’t believe their daughters won’t talk to them and claim “therapy doesn’t help”
