I loved this book. It has the potential to be a life-changer for families. It takes the principles of the Japanese method lean and applies to the home - the organisation we can impact most. The book is about lasting results and sustainable life. Read it!
This book was a bit difficult to read and understand with all the extra information thrown in. It boiled down to the same principles as all the other self help books out there just using Japanese terminology.
The Lean and Happy Home : From Frustration to Flow in Seven Easy Steps is 'How To' on organising based on the author's own lifestyle and experience. There are some good snippets of information and it is easy to read and follow. Although it does feel quite corporate and business like in parts, rather than homely. It is a good book to read and take the bits that are relevant to you and use them in your own way.
