Sweet, suspenseful, easy read.

I loved this book. I lived in Atlanta for years, and my sister still lives in Georgia, so hearing the realistic depiction of the sticky sweaty humidity, was actually really nice. It was clear the author either lives in Georgia or has spent time there. If not, they are an excellent researcher!

Pru was well created. I happen to know a thing or two about anxiety and trauma, and I thought she was well written. There is room there for more depth, but as a quick romance read, I thought it was adequate.

Shawn is adorable, but I would have liked to see him be a little more fleshed out. I did love his relationship with Joe, and I was glad that his character grew throughout the story.

Overall I would rate this story as exceptionally well written. If you like spicy but sweet romances, this is a great one for you.
