This book started off with a bang and just kept on going. It's hard to summarize the craziness but it will definitely keep you interested and entertained. The cast of characters were fun and can't wait to find out what happens next!

Gotta say was an interesting read. I am not big on cliffhangers though. It made me smile in a lot of places, lol and as someone reported before kinda raunchy in places. But yea I would read it again.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to read

Actual rating is 3.5, but I couldn’t justify, to myself, rounding it up because I didn’t have time to read nearly enough of it to make a fully informed decision.

Sadly, I didn’t have enough time to fully finish reading this book. I kind of scouted around the last few months for it, in an attempt to find a copy via my library, but it hasn't popped up yet. If it ever shows up at the local library, I will, definitely, be checking it out! I mean, come on, a demon chihuahua???

Damien is a tailor for supernatural clients. He has been cursed to live an immortal life alone. Falling in love with someone means their untimely death. He used to be a “fixer.” Kinda like a hitman/assassin/knight/assistant/problem solving weapon’s expert, if you will.

The story takes off after Cimil, a goddess, shows up to ask Damien for a favour…regarding a unicorn and a hellhound that messed everything up for the gods. Lol Actually pretty funny.
Now, from what I managed to read in the couple of days I had it, this is a rather out-there, fast paced, raunchy book with humour that is a bit crude…or a lot crude depending on who you are and your definition of crude. It actually kinda reads like some of those rather cringey anime. lol

The Immortal Tailor is the first in a series and has some very quirky characters to keep you entertained while also trying figure out the mystery surrounding missing immortals and some "blast" that took away some powers of other immortals. I'm torn on the ending though and didn't quite like it. 3.5 stars

I have read several books by Mimi and I don’t think I have read one I didn’t like!

I can’t help feeling sometimes that she lives in her own little weird but “in a great way” world. How on earth does she even think these stories up?

If you want a laugh out loud, completely different, interesting, off the wall story….this is it.

I loved it and would definitely recommend it.

I want to thank the author, publisher and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Damon Graystone is a classical tailor in LA he has a Chihuahua who is actually a demon dog and he hast to keep him secret because he’s kind of been kicked out of the human universe. When simo the goddess of the underworld tells Damon she needs his help because her unicorn in the hell hound got intimate and cause an explosion that blasted all the immortals out of the universe and yet a reporter named Skye in Cincinnati was attacked Buy a sex fairy Simael what him to go there and find out how this fe wasn’t also blasted out of the universe. Now why would the goddess of the underground XA Taylor to do this… Well it’s because he was cursed eons ago and it made him immortal and he could never die but to make matters worse if he loves or likes or lust after anyone they die as well. So after his cards due to anger about his situation he became a fixer and a bounty hunter but that was in the past and he now lives a refined life with his demon dog bonbon who he doesn’t really care about but the dog save this life and so right is right and Damon he takes care of the dog but on to Cincinnati and the reporter. Sky quit her day job to become a freelance reporter and recently busted open a sex trafficking ring or at least that’s what she thought. Unfortunately sky is a beautiful woman something not lost to Damon and when her nephew gets beat up by unknown people demons instinct or to protect him and her to make his urge less potent went around sky he decides to take care of needs himself unfortunately before he knew it he had doomed sky to her fate but maybe the death of sky won’t be as bad as they first scenes. Ken Damon really find out what the goddess wants to know and fix everything or will the immortals be banned forever? There is way more to this book than what I put in my summary but first off let me say this book is as awesome as my first thought it was going to be. It is funny well plodded and it seems the author has done her due diligence despite the humorous tone of the book to make sure all her I’s were dotted and her T’s were crossed. This book is from the immortals series and I am definitely going to get familiar this is my type of book and although they do have a little detailed sex it isn’t whole scenes but rather comments and gestures and it’s something I can live with this was an awesome book as I said I loved it loved it loved it! Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review I want to thank the author the publisher and NetGalley for my free arc copy.

The Hero: Damien - he was a tailor in a fine shop that he owned, his life was simple though he made clothes for supernatural clients including vampires and gods. He had been cursed hundreds of years ago, to live an immortal life all alone. If he even hinted at love or attraction toward someone, that person would die, so he had resigned himself to being alone and liked his simple tailor's life. However, he had a darkness inside him that nearly took over when he didn't keep in control.
He used to be a weapons expert and a supernatural fixer.
The story: Cimil, the goddess of the underworld showed up in Damien's shop asking a favor of him. It seems that nine months ago, Cimil's unicorn hooked up with a hellhound, which is a supernatural no-no. The resulting explosion turned the supernatural world upside down and now everything was out of whack. The gods and goddesses were all thrown into the underworld and their method of escape somehow got all their powers transferred to each other. So now Cimil is now the goddess of death and war, also most immortal creatures like vampires were turned mortal. Cimil wants Damien to return to being a fixer and find out what can be done to set things straight.
The heroine: Sky - She is an investigative journalist with her own online news outlet. She recently got national headlines after outing a group of human traffickers, but weeks later was in the news again when she was attacked by a sex fairy. She didn't know it was a sex fairy, but explained to police that she was in a changing room at a sports store when a small person with wings was in her underwear trying to get all up in her business.

Not my style, unfortunately. Reminds me very much of a slice of life anime. While entertaining, there wasn't much more for me than fluff.

Hilarious and raunchy and downright wild. Not a lot of spice but plenty of crude humor. Kept me entertained but looking for real substance. Would continue the series if given the chance if for no other reason but the laughs.

As always Author Mimi Jean Pamfiloff gives a great, funny, sexy, and adventurous story. As well as bringing in old characters that I definitely loved and this book put a smile on my face at the same time had my clutching my imaginary pearls. Any this author puts a book out I dive head first especially with her immortal character. Awesome book!

I really enjoyed previous books I have read by MJP, however the humour in this one didn't quite hit the mark and I struggled to get into this. I will say though, I've had a rough year, and maybe I just haven't been in the mood for comedy? 3 stars because while it didn't necesarily work for me, I'm sure others will love it.

I volunteered to read and review through Net Galley an advanced readers copy of The Immortal Tailor . Damien Greystone is a Tailor but not the ordinary kind he was a fixer before . He has a love sucking demon that looks like a talking Chihuahua . When the Goddess of the underworld comes to his shop wanting his investigating talents . A Unicorn and a hellhound mated and caused an explosion that removed all immortal energy from the planet. She wants him to figure out how to reverse the effects of the blast . Damien sets and his journey is intriguing and entertaining and the characters he comes upon make things very interesting . I found this tale delightfully funny . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

This was a big fat no for me. I finished the book, but I didn’t enjoy it. The writing was rushed, the plot was wackadoo, but also kind of dark, and I felt confused the whole time. The characters were kind of fun, though.

Thank you to NetGalley, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff, and the publisher for a copy of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

So, a cursed tailor/assassin/fixer with a chihuahua-shaped love-eating demon should have been more fun than this. Which isn't to say it was no fun. But... I couldn't invest in Damien. I couldn't invest in the chihuahua. Or MF (the supposed goth chick). Or Damien's ghost victim love interest - who I rather disliked, actually. All in all, not for me. YMMV.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Paper & Silver, Inc. for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the beginning of a new series. I have to say that I usually don't like reading about gods/goddesses. This book was quite different. I found it to be insanity!! Just hilarious I felt for poor Damien. Oh lordy, Cimil is sort of evil. This book made me laugh and cringe. I did like most of the characters. 4 stars and I would like to read the next book.

I don’t even know how to adequately describe/warn you for this book. If you have had no exposure to the gods books that relate to this world, you are in for an insane time. The level of oddity in the reigning gods is above and beyond anything that pops into your head. To give an example: the incident that requires the gods to reach out to Damien (the immortal tailor) involve a unicorn and a hellhound getting frisky.

So, back to the story - the immortal tailor in question is Damien and he is long-lived but also suffers a curse that means he is alone forever. When tasked with looking into a sex fairy sighting, he meets Sky, an ex-teacher turned online reporter who was on her path to stardom when she was attacked. Turns out that announcing the existence of supernaturals doesn’t help your online career as a serious journalist. When Damien and Sky meet, he does his bets to remain unattached, but his curse ends up presenting in a terrible way that truly shocked me. Usually books like this have a script of sorts so when they blew it up completely I was fascinated. What would happen now?

Well, just about everything you can imagine happens. There’s demon dogs, shifters at music festivals, yucky baking, matchmaking and so much more! This book manages to tie up some loose ends, but leaves a pretty big cliffhanger which only makes me that much more desperate for book 2. Who knew you could end up rooting for the ornery tailor by the end?

Mimi writes great, hilarious characters and this book is no different. Poor Damien’s quiet, peaceful (boring) life is being upended and it doesn’t seem that he’s going to regain it. He might even fall in love along the way. Sky and Damien had great chemistry and I look forward to the next book in the series. Also, really nice to see Cimil again!

This book is amazing, it moves fast, and it surprises you. There's scheming, I don't even know what too root for, in the power bid, I don't know who to trust and who I should kill of slowly? Damn.

Bonkers with a capital B !
As usual the author delights in giving readers characters that beggar belief ! The Gods are absent (boo) but their tailor isn’t ! Ok Cimil is sort of still around (hooray) with all her usual quirks and she has a mission for Damien . Now honestly he would really rather not but with a little blackmail (hey what’s that between friends ?) this fastidious tailor will get the job done as he really wants to get back to his boring, sanitised and oh so peaceful life . Yeah heehee that’s so not happening !
Warning this might offend ! Warning it’s classic Mimi and not pulling punches. Rude at times perhaps, crude most definitely and absolutely hysterical and totally fun to read. The romance well it’s kind of not really there yet but things are moving along. The supporting characters frequently steal the scenes. As a reader you are left a little perplexed, maybe feeling a bit cheated of a happy ending but most definitely one hundred percent entertained.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

Damien gave up his fighting days for a quiet life as a tailor. The gods ask for his help when their powers become unstable. During his investigation, he falls for Sky Morales, a journalist... Unfortunately he's cursed to be alone. She will die if he cares for her...

Lots of LOL moments. Sky and Damien are terrific together. Love their chemistry. A fun and fast moving book. Really enjoy it.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
