Another great book by Sarah Sparks! The Monsters on Mill Street are great characters that our little ones can relate to and learn from. I can't wait to share this book with young people in my life!
I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.
This was a cute rhyming story about a monster who bounces all over the place until she ultimately makes a huge mess in her kitchen that she then has to clean up. She realizes that all of her bouncing is maybe a bit of a problem, so she makes the effort to be a little less bouncy at times.
This was just a really silly story, great for the little littles, because it will keep them entertained. The illustrations were really fun and colorful too, which will also help keeping your littles engaged in the story. Overall I give The Bounciest Monster on Mill Street 3.9418 out of 5 stars.
I have read all three books in this series now and they are all really good.
As a parent I like that they allow you to discuss topics with children in a subtle way and also that you can use them as prompts to discuss thoughts and feelings. The book also teaches as you read it which is a great touch as it discusses emotions and how to manage them.
The illustrations in the series are great and they all work well with the topics.
Each book has a different feeling discussed too and they are great social-emotional learning tools.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!
Becks bounces around until she makes a big mess and learns that bouncing is only fun if it stays controlled, and she found some other outlets for her energy that were less destructive. A good book for those kids who have a hard time sitting still to see what else they can do. I also loved that Becks cleaned up her mess at home.
Oh my Gosh - this book is so cute. And the illustrations are adorable. I love the rhymes so much! Definitely a very fun read for a child.
The Bounciest Monster on Mill Street is a super cute book about a young monster who loves to bounce around. As a young child, I also struggled to sit still, so this one really resonated with me. I loved that it didn't discourage the young monster from bouncing, but talked about being aware of your surroundings to stay safe.
Thanks to NetGalley, Sarah Sparks, and Via Nova Productions for the chance to read and review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the third monster book I have read. It is a cute story of Becks who is a bundle of energy. She soon finds out that having all that energy can cause problems. This is a cute book with colorful illustrations sure to delight children. It is a good way to introduce quiet time to children and the importance of it.
Becks is so full of energy she never sits still. She learns that slowing down and learning to rest can help her focus of things that matter like friends and meditation and exercise. I feel like there are a lot of adults who could use this lesson.
This was my favourite from the series monsters on the mill Street.
Because my daughter is much alike Becks, highly spirited and energetic. It is so hard for her to sit at one place for longer duration. I don't feel that it is bad thing as such but sometimes I'm too tired to deal with all that energy.
The book like this help her be sitted at one place and enjoy some quiet time. When we read together, she kind of realised that she and Becks are alike and that's why she too loved this story more than the other two in the series
Thank you Netgalley and ViaNova for the wonderful ARC in exchange of an honest review.
"The bounciest Monster on Mill Street" is a cute Ocoee book about the importance of slowing down.
Beck is a yellow monster who really likes to bounce. One day, she bounced so high that she left the planet and bounced through space, only to crash down and make a huge mess. Been lambs that it's good to take the time to be still every once in a while.
I found this book very fun to read, but not as informative a the other two in the series. It's one thing to tell kids to slow down, but most don't want to or don't know how to do it. I wish gave more practical advice for that.
Very cute story that was fun to read. I am a big fan of reading rhyming books aloud! My grandkids were very engaged.

Fun book. Fun illustrations. My kiddos enjoyed looking at the pictures. Great SEL content. Perfect for a young kid who is just figuring these things out!
My kinder class can absolutely relate to Becks and her inability to stay still (for even a minute)! With its colourful illustrations and rhymes, young readers can relate and enjoy this funny tale. A great addition to any personal or classroom library.
I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book gives children a chance to listen to rhymes while learning life skills. This book is part of a series of Monsters on Mill Street that has a new life lesson in each book. This is a perfect bedtime story that parents will love telling.
This was such a cute book! The illustrations were vibrant and adorable. I feel like the "bounciest monster" can represent an overactive child, but also anxiety for anxious adults like me. Sometimes I need a reminder to slow down, so I really loved this book.
I received a DRC from ViaNova Productions via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
great book to teach kids how to calm down when they are over excited, it rhymes throughout and the illustrations are bright and creative. would definitely recommend i have put into my amazon wish list to by for my nephew for his birthday.
This book is cute and silly. Becks has so much energy that she bounces to space and makes messes wherever she goes. She learns that’s it’s ok to take breaks and rest her body. My son laughed throughout the book and was fun for both of us to read.
Very cute story with a good lesson! It kept my daughters attention very well. I loved the bright colors and the way the book flowed.
The Bounciest Monster On Mill Street by Sarah Sparks is a cute children’s story with great illustrations and super fun rhymes. Becks is full of so much energy, and loves to bounce, but as she does she creates messes. The book shows other methods to reduce excess energy.
